Issue with Signature Control in Universal on Tablets

Since upgrading to 2024.3 earlier this year and replacing the Universal interface, I have been experiencing an issue with the signature control in Universal when using a tablet.The issue does not occur when using Universal on a laptop. The issue does occur when using Universal on a tablet. The issue also occurs when using Universal on a laptop when simulating a tablet via F12 Developer Tools. I installed the latest Universal version today, but the issue persists. Windows userinterface works fine.The issue occurs in a task popup containing three fields: Name, Signature, and Comment. The task doesn't use default or layout logic.Steps to reproduce:Enter a name in the Name field. Directly sign in the Signature field. The Name field is cleared/reset.Alternatively:Enter a comment in the Comment field. Directly sign in the Signature field. The Comment field is cleared/reset.However, if you enter a name or comment and first select another field before signing, the value remains correctly saved

Global configurations in IAM

What is the status of the Global Configurations in the IAM? since which version they are neglected? It used to be that you had the option to set the globalconfiguration in the INI file and it would overrule the extended properties at application level.Platform version 2024.2 doesn't do this anymore. Can we reinstate the behaviour in any way? Or what are the alternatives? Now I have to have 2 applications with distinct session variable (ID) .. this used to be one where the global configuration steered the session variable (ID).

How to put a hyperlink on the Table fields

Hello, I would like to check if there a way to put a hyperlink on each value of the fields?I have an table or an entity using a grid component, I would like to add a hyperlink on the value of fields to redirect to another table./ subject or subject variant. Example: Table 2, shows the reference no, this table has reference to Table 1. I would like to add hyperlink to each referenceTable 2Table 2And once click it will redirect a Table 1/subject or variant, pointing to the reference no.Table 1Table 1 Please advice. DevExpress export to Word/Excel usable in universal?

Hi,A long time ago we found out that the Export to Excel/Word functionality within DevExpress can not be used in the SF in combination with the WinGui en Indicium Basic.Will this be possible when using the normal Indicium?Which functionality within DevExpress can be used in the SF.Converting DevExpress reports to Word or Excel is something our customers really would like to be able to do!Thanks, Joost

Badge count is Zero on the main screen

Hi,I have a scenario here, that the badge count becomes 0, but originally it has a value.What could be the cause that the count becomes 0 from the tile main menu. Big tiles - navigating big tiles will redirect to a page Small tiles – are those open tiles Main Menu Screen Selecting the above Tile, example Big Tile 1, will display below screenshot, and each record once selected, the small tile on the ride side has Badge count that is changing accordinglyTile 1 Page The inside Tile has Badge count, but after clicking it, and go back to the main menu screen (the first screenshot) , the count become 0 in the main menu. Any of the 4 inside tiles, whenever we navigate and accessing it from main screen menu the count becomes 0. But from the Page (Tile 1 Page) it always has a value.Please advice, where could possibly got wrong.Thank you

Multiple API calls to same process flow at the same time

Hello,I have a question about a process flow which I made specifically for an integration with another application, say “App B”.The process flow makes sure to merge the correct record into the correct tables. There is some custom logic where checks are done whether to insert or to update the record. This is an atomic transaction.We have a webhook configured in App B, which means that every update App B receives is immediately send to our Thinkwise application. Now it seems that App B is updated via an integration as well. Sometimes, this means that the same record in App B gets updated multiple times in rapid succession.Our process flows is not able to handle this correctly. I get the following error: Cannot insert duplicate key row in object “XXX” Do you have any recommendations in order to solve this issue?Will simply rewriting my check into a merge statement rather than the custom check help resolve the issue? The issue is that I have no easy way to test the issue in another environ

Session expired in Universal GUI

Users are struggling with the login & session expired in the universal GUI. They use the checkbox stay signed in, but still expires every hour. And as we want to migrate to the universal GUI, this does not help.We recently set 2FA on, but that might not have impact on expired sessions, or does it? As it seems to have impact. But how can we solve this?

Theme changes after Universal GUI upgrade

Hi, Recently we have upgraded our GUI to 2024.3.15, but notice that the theme change and some layout changes. What could get wrong on this, why the last theme or layout is not the same? Is there anything need to configure? Note that functionality are ok, just that the themes, color and some layout is not the same as before. Please advice. Thank you

TSFReportMailer exports different than regular report generation?

Being able to use the TSFReportMailer for quite some time within Windows, I noticed something odd today which I cannot explain. When using the TSFReportMailer for a report, I notice the generated file of the report has random spaces within the text fields, wich are consistent every time. However, if I generate the report through the GUI, the report is showing the correct format as expected.The following snippet is from a report that has been generated by TSFReportMailer:When generating the report directly from the GUI, this problem does not persists: I was wondering what could cause this, since the exact same report is being used within the TSFReportMailer ánd the GUI. The fields in the Crystal Reports file are regular field boxes or text boxes without any conditions or mutations to the text. How to customize display in the Grid and save the layout

Hi, Would need assistance to guide how does a particular users change the order display of column on their view. example, below screen shot is a grid_only screentype, and the original column order showsD | Status | Customer reference | File A particular user wants to change the order of the column to Status | D | File | Customer reference How can they move the column and save their own layout, so after logout and login to the system they still able to see the last saved layout they made. But other users should not be affected, they should see the default unless they change. Is there a configuration on the system to allow this change for User? Or any recommendation to make the column order dynamic? Please help. Thank you in advance.

Close document only for popup/zoom

Hi all,For a process flow I have a ‘Close document’ action. This will close the popup/zoom when the process flow is executed. However, I can also trigger the process flow when no popup is available. The process action will close the main screen (as the popup is a different variant of this screen).How can I prevent the process flow of closing the main screen? The ‘Open document’ action is in another process flow. Therefore, as far as I know, I cannot use a Document ID.Kind regards,Rick

OAuth Refresh Token Connector Works in Windows GUI but Fails in Universal/System Flow

I’m experiencing an issue with the OAuth Refresh Token connector. It does not seem to function well in Universal or as a scheduled system flow.When changing the system flow and adding a table task to manually trigger the flow in the Windows GUI I successfully get a new access token with the current refresh token.But when I manually trigger the flow from the Universal GUI, or let the system flow run automatically (after changing it back to a system flow by removing the table task) in the background it fails. System flow - start date bug

Hi, I have made a system flow that mainly consists of 3 sub flows and a decision + 2 tasks for handling data of a flag value. This is the diagram in SF:The initial decision checks if the flag value can allow the process to start, otherwise it goes to end.In the execute subflows, the main process is based on doing repetitive GET calls on ms graph endpoints in order to recieve data for microsoft plans, buckets and tasks. For those processes I use some DTO tables in order to store the fresh data and at end of each subflow, the data from dto table/tables is sync in a transaction with the data from our environment. When I schaduled the flow to 1 minute for example, everything went smooth and I could see the changes in our environment but things went a little strange when I changed the scaduler to start the process each 5 seconds.In my oppinion it should check for the flag value and if this is not yet released from the previous run, it should stop the system flow immediately. Importingfunctionality while while hiding add, copy and edit buttons.

Inside the Software factory it is possible to enable importing on a table even when that same table does not have permissions to CRUD. This creates a conflict because without those permissions I can’t import, yet I can start the import task up to the point where I can select an importtype. It will throw an error.In relation to above I’ve been trying to hide the CRUD buttons while maintaining the import functionality, is this possible?What Ive tried myself is:Deactivating permissions > breaks import Hidding the button types in the lay > breaks importIf it’s possible, how? If it’s not possible why is the import task available when the buttons are hidden / permissions are off.

Write file process action - target file path (output) not working?

Hi I have a process that I've been troubleshooting why the file is not saving to the target file path, First I've tried to use absolute path but it's not working, then I use relative path which is the screenshot and still not working. Then I figure out that I have to put the relative path under the Target file name, in order to save to the expected path like below. I'm just curious why the target file path is not functioning as expected? or did I missed out something? Please advice Thank you

Archive a protected branch

Hello everyone,We have a protected branch that served as the version branch for a major change we made to the software. This has since been merged back into the MAIN branch and we now want to archive this protected branch. All branches with that version branch as its origin have been merged and/or archived. Is there a way to get this branch archived. If I need to delete all branches that have branched from this version branch I get the following error no matter how long ago they have merged: How can I archive the protected overlaying branch anyway, and if it is not possible without deleting the child branches, how can I get these deleted anyway?

Possible bug when switching between dropdown options

Hi!We have the following situation, we have some elements that each can have attached a picture.When the list element is changed, as you can see in the video, the image is not updated on UI, even if in background it seems like it does. At the moment of the video the background image was updating but only at css level, however we encountered also times when it stays the same.It shows the a2 image for a1 on both ui and cssthe proper image for a1Looks like if we select an element without an image or clear the element and select after that one with image it works, but this is just a remark, not a fix.

Process flow action "Change filter" possible when Meta does not allow. (Working as intended?)

When setting my role for a certain process flow, I noticed that the “Filter” was not enabled in “Meta”: Set Filter allowed, but Meta is disabledI had indeed not allowed “Filter” on the Subject and for the “Filter” I had set all columns to “Visible for filter” = “Never”.It came to a surprise that my Process flow was actually working and indeed using the “Change filter” action.Reading up in the documentation I see this:Description under process flow action “Change filter”I would think my situation is not conforming this statement as the Subject does not allow nor have any columns enabled for filtering.The reason I had initially disabled the filter options, was that I wanted to prevent a user attempting to change a filter and later I decided the research my process flow options.Now my main question is, is this functionality working as intended?I am happy it works as it does now, but I want to be aware when this is not supposed to work like this and might get fixed, causing these flows to

Multi Tenant IAM setup (all users visibale for both user administrators)

Hi, I'm trying to setup a multi tenant multi application environment, where i have created a new Tenant for a new Application and made this user only an User Administrator for the new Tenant. The issue i'm running in to is that the new Tenant that is only User Admin for the new Tenant can still see all users from the other tenants. Note that i'm only having this issue 1 environment, local and on our test environment this works without any issues. Working setup on test: TESTENANT has 2 users in the tenant where one is an user administrator.Tenant Users with TESTENANT When logged in as the TESTENANT user admin i can only see users for this Tenant Not working setup with the same settings:Tenant 4 & 5 only have an User Administrator Green is Tenant 5, Yellow tenant 4 When logged in as Tenant 5 user Administrator we can see all users from all Tenants, where Tenant 5 only contains 2 users linked to that Tenant. I tried the exact same thin in this environment

License renewal not working after upgrading from 2022.2 to 2024.2

Tuesday february 11th 2025 we upgraded our environment from 2022.2 to 2024.2.The 2022.2 environment had a valid license until 2025-05-12 as was showing in the indicium log.After the upgrade (which by the way took about 10 hours to complete!) the application and connected systems proved to be working.Unfortunately a message popped up regarding the license to be expiring after 7 days. We thought this was due to the missed license update time frame and expected this message (afflicting all users logging in) to be solved the next day.Unfortunately the messagebox keeps popping up until today. At this moment the counter says 4 days.Last thursday I already filed an issue in TCP but so far no response. Getting to show group under previous one instead of next tabpage on Form

I have something weird.My form consists of several groups and currently they are shown eiter next to eachother or on seperate tabs depending on the width of the form.My form is height enough to show at least the first 2 groups in the first column but TW decided to show them on seperate tabpages: Both groups easily fit together on the first tabpageThe weird part is that according to Subjects in the SF there isn't a group called Transport for this view: I suspect that the implied break in the above screenshot causes my issues?For the record, there should be a new group there. But somehow it disappeared.When I reinstate the transport group the result in the app is still the same. When I do this: Long story short…. Help…Can someone explain to me what is happening here?Feels like some bits fell down in the database… :)

Ignore columns in the select query when they are hidden in the list

We are on SF version 2024.2 with a Windows GUI. I noticed that the select query is still including hidden columns in the list.We have for example a table with JSON data. I don't want the JSON data in the list, but I want to be able to filter this column and only show it in the form. Same in the SF, when I open the reports in the SF, it still includes all ‘file_spec_data’, but it is not in the list. When I have a poor connection, I have to wait. I thought this performance issue was already solved. Is this only solved for Universal in Indicium?
