Anyone knows why Edge is using 30-35% of processor capacity when starting a TW Universal application in the browser? Is this normal?

Hi @Edwin Saan,

A few questions so we can investigate further:

  • Do you have start objects / a table in your URL that gets opened on startup? Or is it just showing the menu?
  • How many items do you have in your menu?
  • How are you measuring processor utilization? And is it just a short spike to 30-35% or is it longer?
  • What processor are you testing this on?

Thanks in advance.

Kind regards,
Leroy Witteveen

Leroy, we experience it when we open lists. without an open list it’s really low. 2% or so.
With an open list, not a specific subjec, the cpu raises to 25-30% stays at that level.
We indeed processor utilization.

It’s an Intel(R) XEON(R) Platinum 8370C CPU @2.800 GHZ
We have 15 items in the menu
And we don’t have start objects in the application.
This is with an open list
