Hi, We are trying to implement dragging and dropping of records in a view to change the order of the records. This particular view has 2 primary keys:slaughterherd_id supplyherd_idAs per:In tasks I've created a task and added 4 task parameters: I added the task to the appropriate view and filled the first 2 task parameters: In Subjects I set the following: In functionality I added an empty template to the task as I'm not yet looking at executing the task itself. I just want to see the dialog. When I perform a drag in the view it looks like dragging but the dialog is never shown.I thought to be clever and added an empty DEFAULT to the task to see in the DEBUG if that got fired. But it doesn't….We are a bit lost what could be wrong. In our first attempt earlier this morning we dit get the dialog to show up. We started experimenting on how we can detect the id of the record we drop onto and during that process the dialog just stopped working :(
Hi,We have a problem with one of our screens. The screen shows 3 separate grids and the main grid has a task that uses all 3 of them: the problem we are facing is that when I edit a value in the formgrid on the right and forget to save the record it won't get saved. It saves when moving to another record but we cannot force the user to do so and in this case there is only one record. The result is that the task uses the old values instead of the new ones :(We have the same issue in all parts of the screen that do not own the task: When I do the same thing in the upper left part of the screen it works fine because there seems to be some sort of mechanism that saves the data during the initialization of the task execution. Is there a way to utilize that also for the other parts? In short: how can I force TW to save the changes in all parts of the screen on executing the task?
We have several VIEWs with a trigger attached.Everytime we add a column to the view or make a small change to the internal query we need to manually remember to also regenerate the triggers for that VIEW.Is there a way to automate that? An error like the ones the user get when a DEFAULT or LAYOUT isn't regenerated would also help a lot. Currently the trigger is just missing causing seemingly mysterious things to happen (the mystery is mostly why they do not happen).
EDIT: It seems to be related with Firefox. In Chrome all looks correct. Hi,I'm currently doing some testing of our TW applications in the universal interface and I noticed the following: Why are the “Aantal” and “Ontvangen en geindentificeerd” not on the same baseline? Is this a feature or am I doing something wrong? Maybe it is the fault of Firefox?
I try to generate source code but it tells me it is waiting for “Execute source code”. No big deal normally but “Execute source code” isn't doing anything as far as I can see… When I try to connect to the db with the little lightning bold button and press Execute nothing seems to happen….Other times I ran into this issue I was able to connect and cancel it, but not today :(Any ideas?
Hi,I made a small change to a PROCEDURE template and when I tried to generate the code group on the Functionality > Assigning > gear icon I get the following error: The control procedure it points to seems to be autogenerated?Any pointers on what is going wrong here?
We are trying to design a task that has a lot of arranged parameters. The problem we run into is that when the task starts the width of the dialog isn't calculated on the widest row of parameters, effectively pushing them to different tabpages.Same with the height. We can set the desired width of the dialog but in that case TW pushes a field to the next column messing up the layout.Hope my explanation is clear.. Pictures are probably a better way to show it :) When I manually resize the dialog all falls into place: Any ideas on how to do this?
I would like to able to alter the presets (or add my own presets) to the presets dropdown while assigning rights to an object. I need to set the roles for a lot of tables and they all need the same permissions. An alternate solution would be manually running the task_role_tab_set_rights but I'm not really comfortable doing that without knowing the implications :)For now I altered the def_role_tab_set_rights in SSMS to alter which checks are set by each of the 3 presets, fortunately I only needed 3 different presets.
In one of our TW applications we have a large stock table and we created prefilters to filter for specific warehouses. We would like to use roles to assign which prefilters are visible and used.So pickers form warehouse A do not see the warehouse B entries and vice versa. And some people need to be able to see all..We couldn't find a way to do it.
I often run into the issue that the project folder is set to a folder on the customers network which I cannot access from my dev environment.I can change it thru Full Model to a folder I can access but I noticed that when I do a sync to IAM the path in my SF overrides the path in IAM.I would love to see a way to set different path for DEV, ACC/TEST and PROD as I don't want my test data to interfere with production data and vice versa ;)Is there a way to do that? Currently I need to be very carefull that I do not forget to correct it in IAM after a new deploy.
Hi,I run into a situation where I would like to disable a set of prefilters based on another prefilter.I have several prefilters to filter for areas in a warehouse. But now we need to add a second warehouse to TW.So I have another prefiltergroup that filters on warehouse. When I filter for warehouse A I want the area prefilters (together in a single prefilter group) for warehouse A to be visible and for warehouse B to be disabled and hidden. And vice versa.
I ran into a problem in Thinkwise which caught me by surprise.I was testing a task that uses a taskparameter with weight as domain:As shown above the domain is a NUMERIC(9,2)When I try to enter a point or a comma into the resulting task field I get nothing. But my colleague is able to enter the decimal separator. For example 38.5 becomes 385 on my system and 38,5 on my colleagues system.I figured out it had something to do with the fact that my windows keyboard profile isn't 100% standard: When I restore the decimal separator and number grouping character back to the Dutch default (comma and point) instead of my preferred point and space TW works fine again. Is this a known issue? Is there something that I can do to work around this (other software on my PC prefers the point as decimal separator ;) )
EDIT: I didn't look good enough: Hi,I have a task that can be used in multiple ways depending on a parameter.I can make variants of that task with different default values so I can use the same task in multiple ways. But I noticed that I cannot add the same task multiple times to the same table. I understand that I cannot do that if they all use the same, of no, variant. But different variants should be possible I think!?For now I will duplicate the tasks, unless someone has a more elegant solution :)
Hi,I'm trying to set a domain (TINYINT) to a min value of 1 and a max value of 99: https://www.screencast.com/t/zJI2tiePHow does this work in the background? I cannot find any references in the deployment source code and when I do an Update Model in app I can still fill in a value of 0 without getting any error.Any ideas on what I'm missing here?
