Hi, i have a relationship between a technician and a incident. the technician is a separate table with a relation to the incident table. currently i am unable to select fields from related tables. how can i select these fields?

The badge values are recalculated with a time interval of 5 minutes (default). When the user interface is not used, it seems that the recalculation of badge values stops after 5 times. After that, the badge values are not shown anymore. Is that a known behaviour?  

Hi,as we aren't able to configure the correct date format via the Extended Property's, we've added an Expression field to the view with some code like "FORMAT(ExpirationDate,'d-M  HH:mm','nl-NL')”For some reason this function is working when running the application via the SF by a developer, but when deploying (IAM sync done, and also did a generate which shouldn't be needed as it is an expression calcuation) it to a test-environment the FORMAT-expression is showing another format (hh:mm instead of HH:mm)Some ideas what might be missing here ?

In a screen (variant) where auto refresh is set, the selected line always jumps between the actively selected and the previously selected record.If you do not touch the mouse/keyboard you will see the selected record number change between those 2 numbers.The view that is displayed with the respective screen has a unique PK.The WIndows GUI works properly.We work with Universal GUI 2021.3.14 b1.1, Platform version 2021.3,Any idea what could be causing this problem?NB. @Robbert van Tongeren reported this problem internally to Thinkwise some time ago.

I want to test our application within the SF with the Web gui directly. However, I get following error:  I am using SF 2021.3 and webgui 2021.3.17. What am I doing wrong, or is this not possible at all?

 I use  the TSFReportmailer for  creating PDF’s ,  web gui gives error.  Gui version 2021.3.17.0. some ideas ?    

I would like to insert the signature from a customer in a shipping document, made in Chrystal Report.Our company truckdriver is using a application in Universal GUI on his tablet to follow his route for the day and receiving a signature after delivering the goods. The signature is saved as a .png, Inserting it as a picture on the shipping document results in a black square. When I convert the signature to a .JPEG it shows the signature fine. Is there a direct way to save the signature as a .JPEG ?

Within the SF we have setup a process flow as an API webservice which is open to receive EDI files from an EDI broker. The process flow itself is rather simple, it has a start, decision and an end. The decision contains code to parse an XML file, perform some checks (for instance call a stored procedure which sends an email if invalid data is sent) and insert a purchase order (+ some logging info).The question is:Are the EDI messages sent to our endpoint always handled sequentially by this process flow? We have seen EDI messages being send in rapid succession, with a few thousands of a second in between messages (see image below).The reason for this question is that we have an insert trigger that can handle both sets and individual purchase orders. However, we believe that orders sent in such rapid succession as is the case in the first 3 rows, is not handled well by the insert trigger. Thanks in advance.

In our application I want to use third party ValidSign for digital signing documents (PDF). I am using a task and the HTTP connector (via Process Flows). I was able to test the POST in Postman using this body: payload contains json-commands with signer information, file contains the PDF I want to be signed.The response I get contains an ID for further communication with the REST API.Where do I leave this parameters in the HTTP-connector ?

Update - jan-27The problem has been resolved.All new installations of the Thinkwise Platform will once again deploy properly on Azure databases.Platform upgrades from 2020.2 and up have been adjusted to not re-introduce the conflicting data type.Existing installations up until 2020.2 have a service fix available that will phase out the json user-defined data type.------------------------------------- An undocumented (or unintended) changeSomewhere around the start of this year, Azure has introduced a change to the managed SQL Server databases regarding user-defined data types. The change did not affect any existing databases but prevents deploying any databases which use a user-defined type named json as an Azure SQL Server database.The change has occurred overnight and we have yet to trace it back to a specific Azure Database update. So far, we have not been able to find any documentation regarding this change either. No versions of on-premise SQL Server databases seem to be affected

Menu of my application in the universal GUI overlaps the main frame like in the screenshot. I´ve cleared cache and browser history of Edge (Versie 97.0.1072.62), installed a clean chrome ( 97.0.4692.99), but the problem still persists. I run windows 11.  Any ideas on the cause and the possible solution?

Hi, When in webview (only webview!) , in a grid with a lot of columns, it left aligns the grid on the selected columns. How do I turn this off? I want my grid to be aligned outer left, always. My co-worker did this a while ago, so I it must be possible. However, I can’t find. I guess it must be set up in Subjects. 

I have a grouped grid, (only 1 group level) the first group of the grid is expanded to the belonging lines, for the next group however the underlaying lines are not shown (the group is collapsed. Is there a setting to auto expand all the groups by default?

We are busy developing a Thinkwise application in Universal GUI. The users are Windows Users, which are created in Active Directory. The password policy makes passwords strong, meaning that users must use letters, numbers, and special characters.Entering the username and strong password on a mobile device is difficult because of the emulated keyboard.Does anyone have experience with a way in which users can (more) easily log in to the Universal interface on a mobile device?We are already testing with barcodes and QR codes, and for the username this could possibly be a workable solution. But having passwords printed in code form available is undesirable from a security point of view.We'd love to hear your experiences and tips!

Hey guys, I noticed that there is a slight difference in a way the reports display in the preview (web).Slight difference such as lines not being shown and fonts not being bold, etc.In the preview screen when i export as pdf the report is being shown correctly.Is there a way to correct this or does this have to do with the fact that the previewer in web is different than the local previewer? Regards

In one of our TW applications we have a large stock table and we created prefilters to filter for specific warehouses. We would like to use roles to assign which prefilters are visible and used.So pickers form warehouse A do not see the warehouse B entries and vice versa. And some people need to be able to see all..We couldn't find a way to do it.

 I would like to develop something similar (with the SF) as the Thinkwise Platform badges so we can award badges to our colleagues.Everyone wants to badges  - What would be the best datamodel design for this?  New badges (icon) must be able to be created at all times; An employee can earn zero or more badges; A badge can be assigned to zero or more colleagues;   ​​​​​​- Is there already a way to realize a second layer over the employee image with a general badge based on the condition an employee have one or more badges?    - What is technically and performance-wise the best way of presenting the badges (all images stored in the database) in the context of an employee.   

Hi, I want to dynamically add images to the email body which will be sent bij dbmail.Because of more departments en several marks the logo’s added to the email body need to be added dynamically base on user en department.If now added a table with a link to the path, that works fine in the application but when sending it out the logo’s are empty, because of the pointer to the local path.For one html table cell for example <td><img src="G:\Thinkwise\logo1.png” I have stored the images in the database as well on department level, let’s say the field [department].logoI’ve created an email-template with the tekst [handtekening] When creating the email I replace the [handtekening] tekst with the complete email signature of the user.When I put the logo directly in my email template, the logo is embedded in the template and that works, but that is not dynamic. So the challenge is to add the code of the image stored in the [department].logo field (or the code of the image stored on the

I’ve maganged to setup the connection to the Exact Online API from postman.Now I try to setup the connection from the SF but we running into an invalid_request error as a result.I’ve used the same input variables and keys, so at the moment I’ve not a clue why this result is happening:      Has anybody in the community succesfully connected to the Exact Online API. 

How to set up an API connection using the OAuth 2.0 with Exact Online?This resource was a good starting point.I can’t find a way to use a valid “redirect URI” in the SF.Any suggestions?

When creating a deployment package of the customer's end application, the system keeps hanging on "Synchronize: refereence columns (i_sync_ref_col)". Does anyone have experience with this and/or a solution for it?(I also made a ticket in TCP with backups of the databases)
