I'm trying to get a response from a webservice, located outside our organisation. I created a unique index and I deployed my project. When I try to delete this index I am getting“An explicit DROP INDEX is not allowed on index ‘ sales_person.unique_sales_person’ . Since some versions we have a problem with the Universal GUI after updating. The setting "requestFiltering removeServerHeader = true" in the web.config file causes a 500.19 HTTP error when starting the Universal GUI.If we remove the lines below from web.config, the problem is gone. <security> <requestFiltering removeServerHeader = "true" /> </security> The problem is also present with the most recent update.

Hi All,I have a question about using subreports in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) in Thinkwise.Currently for testing I am using Microsoft Visual Studio (using Report Server Project) to make a simple main report with a subreport.What I did was I made 2 reports (see Figure 1). First the MainReport.rdl and second the SubReport.rdl Then in the MainReport insert subreport item then right-click on subreport item then Subreport properties then under "Use this report as a subreport:" I select the subreport file I made earlier named SubReport.In Software Factory in Reports I'm using for Report type "SSRS (Local)" then in File I select the MainReport.rdl. When I'm opening the report in application I get an error (see Figure 2) saying that subreport could not be found at specified location....What I did I moved the subreport to the specified location given in the error and renamed the file from .rdl to .rdlc and got the expected result information on the subreport.My questions:Is that the w

The module will still be created; however, it cannot run successfully until the object exists. I had changed the Generation order no. on procedure A to 99 and on B it is 100 (Functionality)but that did not do the trick.How can I fix this?

I am trying to use the OAuth connector to make a synchronization with the tax service platform of the British Government.I have followed the docs and set everything up accordingly. However when the proces action of the OAuth login connector is reached, a white screen comes up and nothing is happening. I assume thinkwise is adding the client_id, scope and redirect_uri to the Authorization URL? I was hoping to find more information in the debug screen to find out what URL’s etc are being called, but that is not the case. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong here? In the software factory I defined a report with two parameters. These parameters also exist in the Devexpress file uploaded to this report. After running the report in the Windows GUI the debug info clearly shows the report was fed with the correct parameter values. However apart from the static headers that exist in the design the resulting file remains empty. No data is retrieved from SQL Server. I’ve tried both PDF and XLSX as output with very similar result.When I open the file in Devexpress from the cache folder as mentioned in the debug info and then enter the same parameter values there the report does work. This suggests the GUI does not communicate the parameter values to the report.I haven’t seen a form or task to link a specific parameter in SF to its counterpart in the report file so I assume parameters in SF need to have the same name as those in the report file. Is that correct? If so what could I do to make the GUI produce a complete report?
Hi all,I currently have the following set-up, which is just not working great. It's slow, complex, and it needs a kick every day to get going. The current set-up. Task on 'origin’-table does an insert on the rpt_queue (table). Thinkwise reporting service picks this up, generates the PDF and places this in an output-folder NOTE: the .rdl file is not withing SF, but from a repo (so an outside party can create the rdl files!) Our home-made Service polls the output-folder. If a file is found, it is uploaded to our Azure File storage. It's final location is given back to the rpt_queue and 'origin’ table, so the file_previewer can display the file. Upside = it's what I needDownside = it's slow and never works well What I now want to try is this; Create the PDF through a task (with the .rdl from the repo) Save the directly to Azure file storage Get the final uri from the file and show in the File PreviewerAnd - this all must be faster than ..say… 10 seconds max? Reports developed in Devexpress tend to run rather slow in the Windows GUI. Even when Devexpress itself generates a report within a second it can still take over 10 seconds for the GUI to do the same thing with the same report parameters. I’ve seen this happen in several occasions. Now it’s an issue because for a new module for our warehouse printing a specific report is rather time critical. A delayed print tends to interrupt the workflow too much.The desired behavior would be to have a printout of a report within a couple seconds instead of the current 10-15 seconds. A workaround for now is to make it possible to set the print command in motion earlier in the process but that is not a solution in all situations. It also makes the chances of human error a bit larger.Is there a way to find out why reports perform slow in the Windows GUI?

Hi,I've made a barcode scanner view where i scan a barcode and it inputs the text behind the barcode.Is it possible that when i scan another barcode it automatically changes field “Barcode” with the new text? It needs to have the same effect as selecting the barcode text and scanning the new barcode. Is it something i can edit in Thinkwise or is it a seperate query that i need to write? Barcode after scanning. Scanning a new barcode doesn't have any effect on changing the Barcode field (i need to select the field and the value in it to make a change)
I made a process flow with (only) a message with options so I can define the actions depending on the user’s response.How does this process flow start? I presumed I could just use the message in my code and trigger the process flow with that but it doesn’t work.I want to use it in a default procedure in which I want to send a warning before deleting a row in another table. In this warning I ask ‘ are you sure?’ . When the answer is no, the process stops.It seems I cannot define a starting point in the process flow. When I use the message now, I don’t get the options in it.It has to be simple isn’t it…...if you know what to do 🙂?

We have a process flow that creates items in a queue and allow users to fill in additional info. After the additional info is filled the user will mark the item as 'Definitive' via the task ‘Handle action’. This triggers a process flow to send the item via e-mail. However we already have a process flow that processes mails (send_e_mail). The send_e_mail process flow must be run by Indicium Universal to have all the necessary rights to files and the SMTP server.So we like to do a web request to Indicium Universal to start the send_e_mail process flow (see screenshot below).Process flow that creates the queue item and calls the send_e_mail process flow via HTTP.This all seems to be working.The send_e_mail process flow looks in the queue for the most recent item and sends the e-mail. Hi all, we have automated the build of a TW end product using indicium and the start_deployment_package task. This all works just fine, and now we want to automate the update_data_migration_source_version task as well.When the deployment package generation is successful, we want to mark this version as the start point of the data migration for the next version.This way, we should have new migration start point for when we start the new version, and eliminate the possible migrations errors that may occur when the developers forget to mark the version correctly as the next start point.
