I want a drop down for merchant to view all the categories of products they sell.

Can you assign treeview to a view?

Creating a tree view is not as hard as you might think. Using a view is a very good choice. See Components | Thinkwise Documentation (thinkwisesoftware.com) for more information. To use the tree view, you should have a parent-child relationship with your categories as parent and products as child.

  • Category A

    • Product 1
    • Product 2
  • Category B
    • Product 1
    • Product 2
    • Product 3

You will also need the Tree view screen component to show it in your application. Hope this helps!
