Reading a response by Arie I saw the mention of “Start empty with filter” option that on can use on Subject. Excited that this is seemingly working in Universal, I tried the feature. The result is however different than what I was expecting.Windows GUI:When opening a screen from the menu, you will have it load without results and a Filter Form popup will happen.You can choose to straight away filter or click “OK” without entering filter data. In the last situation all the data will load as if you had never chosen to enable the option “Start empty with filter”.Universal GUI:When opening a screen from the menu, you will have it load without results and it will show a text in the grid “Use find or filter to view data”.I have to open the Filter Form myself if I want to use it or start using the Combined Filter.So far this is acceptable even though it works a bit different. I noticed that there is an option to add custom colors in the SF under “ Advanced menu - Master data - Model - Colors”.I have added some of our company brand colors, but in my model I don’t see them when a color can be set, for example for the Theme or Subject conditional format.So the question is where there colors can be used ?

In the scheduler I’ve created 3 views: Default:DefaultResult: This is oke as we see both the hours and quarters. Zoomed InZoomed InResult:For this we miss the upper level hours, which is needed as there are multiple hours included in the timescale. Zoomed OutZoomed OutResult:  For this we miss the upper level days are multiple days are included in the timescale.  Is there a way to adjust view 2 and 3 to get the upper level timescale ?

Hallo,  From the document https://docs.thinkwisesoftware.com/docs/sf/themes_universal#logo  there's a sample of css were we can update application login logo using custom.css just for understanding is there an existing custom.css by default in the system that we can download? and from there we can just modify and upload to IAM?   or we just create custom.css from scratch following the documentation sample if we need to adjust the css class? example if we want to change the logo only below sample is the content of the custom.css? Thanks

For a form we would like all the 'amount’ fields to be below each other.However we seem to be running into a problem where there is not enough space for the fields to be added to the next row by using the 'field in next column’ setting. This setting is enabled for the 'opbouw vordering’ group.By raising the 'field number of positions further’ I can force the 'opbouw vordering’ group to the next column. However this also forces the 'betalingstatus’ group to a new column.When I set the settings to a number of columns of four it reverts back to the following situation. What suprises me is that the form does now have enough room for all the fields to be below each other but I can not seem to get the groups below each other. Does anybody have an idea what settings I would need to change to achieve this?Kind regards,Mark

We are trying to setup a Universal GUI container as an Azure container instance.Is there a possibility to add extra files to the container? We want to add config.json and add multi_file_upload.html.We tried adding an assets volume as explained here: Universal GUI container | Thinkwise Documentation but this only seems to work for manifest.json and custom.css.For the rest the container works, but it shows this error on start:

In de U-GUI the data does not show a thousand separator for the integer value, as we have not used a numeric control for that column.U-GUI value Domain setting of specific columnWhen the data is exported to Excel it however does have the thousand separator set for the cell.Excel export valueAs this value is also used for external purposes by our users, it becomes quite a burden that they have to change the value as that dot (in my case) also ends up in their other program/tool, which is undesirable.How can i prevent this behaviour from happening?

When I understand it well, Indicum will start a new instance when the previous is not ended. Is it possible to limit the number of multiple running instances?

Hi,It is my understanding that since a recent Thinkwise platform update, the default authentication method for new users seems to be set to Password + 2FA. Some of the users for our app wish to use only a Password to login. However, when we try to pass the authentication type for password at user creation, that doesn’t seem to work (or maybe I'm doing it wrong.)Could someone provide me with the correct way to set the standard authentication type for new users back to just Password?Thank you in advance!

In the Web GUI when you choose “Export immediately”, it only exports the visible columns. When I use this same option in the Universal GUI, it uses all columns of the table/view.How can I enable the same functionality, as we do not want users to see the hidden data?

Hi all, I’m using the web connection process action to interact with a third party API. There are two issues I run into:“Path” is a fixed property, requiring me to define many endpoints for the web connection; “Method” is a fixed property for the endpoint, but not part of the key for that record. It does not allow multiple methods per endpoint.For the path there are two ways I tried to work around this: defining “Path” as {path} in order to turn it into a parameter defining `url_path` as a parameter to the web connection.The method is a domain with elements in the endpoint definition, not allowing to enter {method} as “Method”. I did define `http_request_method` as parameter to the web connection. I was not able to get either option to work as I intended. Does the web connection process action support this kind of abstraction? Should I model this as a custom / message protocol independent flow?

Hi A couple of weeks ago I implemented the following topic to work in my on premise application. When I tested the drag and drop functionality myself, everything worked fine. This week however, the tester ran into an unauthorized error. After some testing myself I found something weird.When I log into my application via: https://my-appl/universal and I try to upload a file I get the following error:However, when I log in via https://my-appl/indicium and then navigate to https://my-appl/universal my file is uploaded successfully:It seems like that logging in via the universal link doesnt give me the rights to upload a file, while logging into the indicium page does. On both pages, I log in with the same account, so there is no difference there. The upload URL that is used in the javescript code is https://my-appl/indicium/iam/appl/(table_refence). I am struggling to find where the problem lies. My guess is that this has something to do with the server settings of the on premise environm

Since the next platform release will support the SF on the Universal GUI, I was wondering if we could get some info/screenshots on the progress. What concessions or limitations in comparison with the Windows GUI SF will be made? Will it still be possible to edit template code in SMSS for example? It would be cool if a demo SF (beta version) could be published like https://insights.thinkwise.app/ so the community can play around and maybe notice any shortcomings before the actual release.

How to attack this issue with Web Connector? We have in our private cloud a reporting solution and this one as an API I can invoke. This one has been placed behind a reverse proxy with a local domain report.app.lef. Now I get this error (indicium 2025.3).  I'm assuming this is due to the fact that it's signed with out own Root CA? I did a merge from our production db to our test db, plus a restore of both iam and db itself, to have a clean slate and start over with the exact same data.Yet when I do a creation now, on the test, I get these added checks everywhere, which result in errors.They look like this:alter table "relatie"add constraint "c_relatie_opmerking" check ("opmerking" in ('0', '1', '2', '3'))goOpmerking is a varchar(5000) column, so obviously this will fail. But no one here has any idea why these get added. The live doesn’t have them. To illustrate:This is the production, with 5 constraintsthis is the test with 11I can not delete them, only add (nor would I want to manually delete them to be honest, because there are a lot)Why doesn’t a merge and restore fix this problem?

I've had this issue before but this time I have more time to find a solution. On my database I can see that a specific column is set to nullable:[single_xml_file] [dbo].[checkbox] NULL CONSTRAINT [DF__label_hea__singl__628FA481] DEFAULT ('0'), But in Thinkwise this column is set as mandatory and when I look in the creation sql code I can see that it is set to NOT NULL.But when I execute “Create Definition”: And then “Execute All Validations” and after that “Generate Sourcecode...”: Next I connect to my DEV database and the SQL output shows:   When I select create and search in the source code for the table this column belongs to I see:  But because the db connection was succesfull create will not be executed and there isn't an ALTER Table being executed as well!?Last time I had a similar issue Anne advised to change the value, create it to the db and change it again to force TW to get back in sync.But in this case that doesn’t seem to work…Any suggestions on how to tackle this? we have a web connection where we (temporarily) receive the bearer tokens via another way (yes i know, not ideal, hence temporary) and store them in a table. i have modelled the web connection with authentication type: bearer token and the bearer token as {token}.my question is: how do i fill this with the value in the table for every tennant?

In universal when a screen or connection takes a long time to load the data you first get a no results message in the grid. This is kind of confusing since it’s still loading the data. The message in the grid suggest there is nothing to show however the loading icon is still doing its thing. After a while the data shows. Can we replace the no result message with a: loading data, spinner icon or whichever makes sense.    

We are almost completely rid of the use of the old WIndows and Web GUI's, and users are more or less getting convenient with the Universal GUI's look and feel. But we are missing some functionality when it comes to Startobjects that users could define in the WIndows (or Web) GUI. When a users switched from the old to the new GUI, the startobjects are there (like menu items with tables that are by default opened). The sorting is not clear and different compared to the old gui's, but at least the open. But when we reset, for whatever reason, the user's preferences, there is no way to re-create the, for instance, startobjects, for that user. I haven't found the functionality in Universal yet to do this. So the user needes to go back to the Windows or Web GUI to reconfigure his or hers startobject(s), to get them working again in Universal.Any idea if this functionalitity exists in Universal, and if not when we can expect it there?
