Hi, Thanks, Yes, in the end I got it working. Fixing the encoding was not the problem; it just surprised that Upcycler select it for you, but apparently not the correct one. For the tablename that was not accepted; I skipped this table with the Upcycler and just imported the data directly from one Db to the new Upcycled Db. I assume that should not be a problem. Will there be a gui in the future for extracting the meta/data in the future? Since that whole command line and then switching to the Upcycler could be easier. Thanks!
For now, Universal GUI supports Compact and Comfort mode. We are planning on adding another option to adjust the Grid row height to 36px. Freely adjusting the row-height brings challenges to the table which may be looked at in the future. Idea will be opened. But the Thinkwise I know never shies away from a challenge! Thnx, we will see what happens with my idea
Yes, this is certainly possible. But I do this validation on several places. If I can select a Subroutine in the Validation Condition, I can reuse it, and not do it per table. So it feels like less work in my case. But not sure how often that occurs in other apps/scenario’s. For now i’ll do it this way!Thnx
Well, I dropped the whole thing since it is not supported in Universal. So yes, you can help… But that might be beyond the scope of the forum? Aside from that, I do not fully understand how to create a drag/drop on a connecting_table. account - account/order - order. I want to drag an order, in the connecting table, and insert both account_id & order_id. Currently I can only do this by dragging it on Account. Which feels counter_intuitive. But as said, not urgent, since the whole drag/drop doesn't work…
Note, this all works well in the windows gui, but the Universal will throw a lot of errors because of the cross join. When I remove the cross join, all works well, but with it, each row will throw; in Chrom dev tools; ----- /iam/11/vw_all_charges(charge_sort_id=20)/context()So, the layout and ctx cannot be set for the selected row? Is a Cross join not allowed in the Universal gui?-- wait -- will try with a better PK in the view - that might be something -- → yes, that works
I did this, set the PK to the Leave_id and job_id. When I now drag, I get a 400 Bad_Request in the gui. The dev tools shows: https://----.com/indicium/iam/43/vw_planner(job_id=null,leave_id=6)/stage_edit 400And a whole bunch of: job_id = null, is correct, because I now only show leaves in the scheduler. leave_id is also correct, and unique within the table & view. Also, I do not get a popup based on my trigger ; declare @leave_id int select @leave_id = leave_id from insertedexec dbo.tsf_send_message '',@leave_id,0Any other things that might be worth trying?
Thnx for the input.I now have a dynamic model script that create a Task per table, adds the correct parameter, add it to the table on tab_task, with the correct parmtr for that table. The task “works” and is ok per tableSo, that is good. However, now I still need to create a Functionality for this task. Now I wonder, can i create 1 Template with something like;UPDATE [table]SET is_deleted = 1WHERE [table]_Id = @[table]_IdAnd that this will be generated if the Functionality is set to “SQL” and I add some code there. OR, Do I need to create a template per table? I have a feeling that above code should work, but before i spend hours trying and searching, a hint would be nice. I know the first part will work - just not sure about the @[table]_id parameter..Thanks! edit; Well, I tried something, and I do think this works :)
Ja, dat was het dus. Windows en Web deed het prima, maar Universal niet. Paar validaties weggewerkt en nu werkt het allemaal goed. Kortom, issue opgelost. ---Moderator editYes that was it. Windows and Web GUI worked just fine but it didn’t work in the Universal GUI.Solved a few Validations and now everything works just fine.In short, issue resolved
I've moved some things around, and tried with a seperate iam. A lot of things seem a bit more stable and better. However, I've read in the docs that Universal is picky about the Validations of the project. Which are not good, since i'm just testing. So, Indicium now throws this error;TSFMessagesMiddleware: An unhandled exception occurred while processing the request. (fffadd8a)Microsoft.Data.SqlClient.SqlException (0x80131904): Incorrect syntax near the keyword 'ORDER'.Invalid usage of the option NEXT in the FETCH statement. There were no other errors. So my guess is, the gui is being difficult with these Validations. I'll try and get some in order, see if it makes any difference. If this is a dead end, please let know.
I assume the link is ok, I checked it, and my project + branch is displayed. If i switch to a different branch or project, same issue. It is the same IAM as the the Sf uses, there is only the SF project. Do I need to set up a seperate specific IAM for a project? Even though the model is loaded, I can't see data. I deleted my log, restarted the pool and logged in again. I see this error; error removed - I noticed what it was. (but still no Data in the Application).(and after that a lot more, but nothing that seems related.. more like unscheduled proces flow) When I use the devtools on chrome with Redux, I see data being passed, like domains, and lookups, but the last step is; "[Document] reset current document.” En alles is in strikethrough-text. Any thoughts?
Right should be there; Only sensible error is see is;(0x80131904): Invalid object name 'gui_appl'.I redid all the steps in the docs, and when i point the Indicium towards the IAM Db, i can log in properly in the Universal gui and see my SF_iam db, all good. However, I want to start against SF and see my running projects. So when I point towards the SF db, i get errors. Any pointers in this?
Hi @Jimmy Scheer, We would prefer to extend this even further and make it possible to review and comment on all changes to a model. We already have plans to optimize the branching mechanism so that we can provide a pull request-like mechanism, similar to GIT for example. In that case, we don't think that it is necessary anymore to also use the work-items for reviewing purposes. Is this something you can agree with? This sounds great. Is there a time frame for this perhaps?
Time out is probably the problem: Idle time-out In IIS, ensure in the application pool's Advanced Settings that the Idle Time-out (minutes) is set to 0 (disabled) instead of 20, so scheduled process flows will continue running even if there is no user activity. This was already the case in my IIS.@Mark Jongeling also told me to do a shrink on the iam DB. I shrunk files and logs. Although I still saw the error, I have a feelings it's less often. I'll keep an eye out and after today check the logs.
