Mark, Here is the screen type. I do NOT want to show the prefilters on the tabbed1tabpage2. However, I'’m not sure if it will solve the problem. I assume the prefilter will not be show, but still active. So, if the user changed the status of the ‘Workorder’ - it still needs to toggle the prefilters. Blommetje

Hi, Yes, I did delete the version of the main after the merge. I think this caused it.I set a version_id (timestamp) from the main branch that made sense somewhere, right before my merge. Set this in the db directly. Then I could merge main into my branch. I tried fixing it through SF which is for me impossible. After some searching, trial and error I did the direct fix, and it worked. Have not merged my own branch into main, but I assume all is ok now. SF version is 2023.1.12.So, a check must be made that if a main version is removed after merging, with branch still alive, it is re-set or not a read-only field anymore.. Blommetje
So, I set it up via the win gui. A bit of a work around, but seems to work.I’ve tested it in Postman, and low and behold, I get the indicium login screen, and after login, a Token. Now to make the whole flow working. To be continued.
Hi Vincent, Searching high and low, but I figured out that here; in the Universal version 23.1.18.0 you can’t add in grid? When I open a web/win gui, I can. Is this correct? How do I add this then?Blommetje

Thanks Vincent for the help. I’ve not figured it out, but some things to clarify. Language settings appear the same. When exporting the .xls on my machine, they look exactly the same as the .xls from the uat. Structure and columns/column names. Also the values for True/False for the checkboxes. I’ve created a record in my environment, but re-importing that same record in that same environment also fails. I made minor changes in the .xls to distinguish the record but it does not set the values for the checkbox nor the text fields (description and code). Also, it only does something when I remove the header values from the .xls. If I leave them, it never runs. via Universal gui. Should that always be done? When imported with win gui, the headers must be left intact. And the values are almost set correctly, but can be mapped with the Importing Wizard. It surprises me that exporting and immediately re-importing in the same environment also fails.. Lookups.. perhaps. But the Description fie

Hi, I was on holiday for a bit and forgot how I fixed it. I went through all the Merge conflicts to check on them a bit better, selecting main/dev branch per line. I think it went after that, perhaps in a few tries. Did it work? Yes. Do I understand it? Not at all. Why did it not run the first time, when I assume I merged all my changes. When I selected 'Keep Branch’ I assume it should work. Also, when I select merge and it doesn't work, this error is not very easy/clear to fix. But for now, things are moving! Thanks! Blommetje
Hi Renée, I was on holiday and not sure what in the end fixed it. Fiddled with some generates and versions and if I remember correctly running and/or editing some scripts manually. However, it worked in the end.It's just not very transparent. 99 times things go without a hitch. But sometimes weird merging errors, generating problems, data migration not set correctly… And it is often not very clear how to fix things. With the whole ‘Versions’ out the window and 'Branches’ incoming, we have quite a bit more problems with creating and deploying and such. Perhaps an Event is an idea? With best practices and such. I see more and more topics regarding this in the community… and in the immortal words of Whitney "I believe the children are our future, Teach them well and let them lead the way”Blommetje

After generating the version .55, through the - Creation screen and Task ‘Generate Definition’, selecting Specific Model; Branch MAIN/ Version .55 Source Model version .055 I get a New version; I do not expect a new version, since I only want to correct to Program Objects for an existing version. Side note; Since the error also stated ‘generate Source’ - should this not be done? I’ve tried it both ways, same outcome. In the MAIN (branch I’m deploying) the Merging/Origin is empty. And Read only. So I can’t set it.In the Data Migration I always set the Previously released version manually, to prevent errors. Sometimes It does select the correct version, but more often it select a version 2 or 3 ago… Alexander
Thank Vincent, I fixed it with these suggestions. It was in fact a #temptable created, which defaults to the server collation. I’ve added a collation to the column in case; CREATE TABLE #importedJsonData_employee (employee_number NVARCHAR(255) COLLATE SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS… And this fixed it. NOT sure how this will behave on other servers.. if the collation differs. But i’ll work around that later.. for now basic solutions will do. Thanks for the help!Blommetje
Thnx! Job retention was empty, so I expect things to cleanup from now.
We also have a lot of struggling with getting the BI as we wanted. Perhaps an idea 💡 to write some showcases, update the manual on this and explain it more? In the end we usually get things working, but cases like the above happen quite often and it’s sometimes just frustrating. And when delivered, the client suddenly wants a bar chart instead of a pie and things need to be figured out again. I would very much like more examples/showcases on this! -Alexander-

Hi @Erwin Ekkel, Perhaps. I find the docs on this subject are not very .. extensive. Is there more info on this? I know that there were some tries with base models, but that never really got anywhere. Maybe now is the moment to try again! Alex
Thanks, that fixed it. Never would've thought of it. The next error was something about dttp not existing in the domain table. Created some extra thingies there as well and now something is happening. Can these missing elements not be taken into account? Would be easier 😉 Thanks!
