Process flow works in GUI but not in Universal.

Hi,I created a process flow to create IAM user when an employee is added. The complete flow is working as intended through GUI, however getting error in Universal.The user is created via GUI but not via Universal. What is the format to write the Body in HTTP connector for API?

I want to create users in IAM using API. In order to POST the details , I am using below JSON query as the Body. Its working via Postman, but not through SF. I think the format to write JSON query is not correct. Has someone tried it. Please let me know the correct format to use JSON query in Body of an API.Postman DetailsSF input

Can one process variable be used as the variable in another process variable?

Let me give some context: I am making a process for an employee when he initiates his resignation, an email will be sent to the HR and his manager.In this process I have an process variable which store the employee id of current user. Now I want to use this in the email body of the smtp connector where the name of the employee will be sent.The email is getting generated, however the place for the name of the employee is blank.Attaching the flow below.Process to start the resignation tab and send the email after the row is added.Below is the process variable to get the name of the employee from the employee idprocess variable using another process variable {employee_id} The SMTP input:

How to use a variable in HTTP connector content parameter?

Hi,For the project, I need to create users in IAM via universal. Created a process flow for the same. I am able to create a user with static parameters. Updating the 'Ends on' column in usr table in IAM from end application

Hi,I am trying to update the ‘Ends on’ column in the IAM under period group, to stop the user from logging in the application. The postman API when tested for this works as expected : sending the url with format: {iam_link}iam/iam/usr(tenant_id={tenant_id}, usr_id='{email_id}')Process flow : subflow : input for the HTTP connector : The update iam parameter updates the process parameter for the http connector : email_id and tenant_id The update job_details updates the SF db columns.Please note that the SF DB columns are getting updated correctly, however the IAM DB for end_on date is not. Error in creation after unique index created

Hi,I created an index on 2 columns to get unique value. columns However, I am running in below error in creation : An unknown error occurred while executing 'create unique nonclustered index "unique_invoice_number"on "invoice"( [INDEX_COLUMN_DEF]) include ("company_id", "invoice_number" )'. Error: 'Column name 'INDEX_COLUMN_DEF' does not exist in the target table or view.'. Please let me know what am I doing wrong?

Approval process using task on same table for different role

Hi, I am creating an approval process on time sheet module. For this there will be 2 roles:ManagerEmployeeScenario : When the employee submits the time sheet using a Task, the Task should change fromSubmit → SubmittedAn email should go to his manager.On the same table the Manager can see, the employee’s time sheet.He can either : Approve or Reject the time sheet by the employee using Task. Can you please guide me to the correct path, any idea how this can be implemented?I do have a rough idea, however its not fullproof.

Process action Write file , the storage location is not available in drop down

Hi, I am following the solution for generating report : In this as indicated the HTTP connector is replaced by the generate report connector.We need to store the report in database, hence using the Write File process action. However, the dropdown for storage location is empty even after creating a new one (by clicking the magnifier). What is the limit to create the number of users in IAM?

For my project, we need to use SF as a form, to be filled by candidates who get selected in the recruitment process. The initial data for each candidate comes from a third party (ZOHO recruit) database. As per the requirement an email will be sent to the candidate with a link (universal url), after clicking on this link the form should open. As per my discussion previously with the Thinkwise solution experts, credentials are necessary in order to logging into SF. The workaround for that we are using is creating users for each candidate using their email-id as the user-id. My concern is that, for example : there are 20 candidates per day filling the form, then in a month there will be around : 600 and in a year : approx. 7200. Will this cause any issues in the system performance in the long run? Is there any other solution for this issue?

HTTP connector giving -1 output for user creation

Hi,While trying to create user in IAM, the user is getting created when using Insomnia (after disabling SSL). The GUI version is : 2022.2.16.0The complete process worked form SF when the URL did not have SSL certificate.However for the URL with SSL certificate, the HTTP connector returned -1 .Can you please guide, how can I get it correct?it worked for insomniaHTTP connector input

sending an auto generated Email by using SMTP connector

For my project I am trying to send an email as soon as the candidate saves his/her details in the form. I made process using the SMTP connector as per few suggestions via the community. However, the email is not auto generated. Below is my process flow. Initially I used “Activate detail” process action instead of the “Start task”. Domain to capture time as quantitative dataMerged

Hi, For our project we needed to capture the daily hours for employees in HH:MM format.In order to implement it Numeric(5,2) was used and then it was converted to HH:MM format with control procedure and subroutine. Can Universal GUI used without user_id and password

The project I am working on needs to fill a form (which is developed in SF) by the candidates. This form will be sent as the link to the candidate in an email. When the candidate clicks this link it should take the candidate to the form. My question is :If the candidate does not have the log in details for SF , can he still open and save his data through the form? Can the universal GUI url open without user id and password?

Can more functions similar to dbo.tsf_user() be created?

For our project there are various roles created like :employee, employee_manager, hr_employee, hr_manager, adminWe have a functionality where the employee can use his privacy setting to hide his personal data from other employees. Currently the time sheet of one employee is hidden from other employee using prefilter with dbo.tsf_usr() functionality. My question is, if it is a manager role then he should be able to see his team’s time sheet.How can this be achieved?

Universal GUI : How to change the tile color and width?

Hi,For the project I want to change the width and color of the tiles in the menu. All the changes I am doing is correctly reflecting in the GUI, however after syncing IAM , its not reflecting. How to control the scheduled email?

Hi,I have a functionality which automatically triggers an email (a reminder sent on a daily basis) when the work permit of the employee is expired in 30 days.Now we added a checkbox , when it is checked the email should not be sent any more. I tried to implement this with below steps:Created a control procedure : layout Below code in the template(the work_permit_expiration date is mandatory): if @work_permit_check_box = 1 /*when checked*/ begin set @work_permit_expiration = NULL /*null the date*/ end However, this seems not do perform any changes.Where am I doing wrong? Field with password is visible in universal

After updating Group in a grid, unable to add new record in Universal

Hi ,I followed the steps from :https://docs.thinkwisesoftware.com/docs/sf/subjects_settings#grouping-in-a-gridFrom the components→ grid I was able to achieve the groups in the grid. While adding new record in the table, it worked as intended from the GUI. However the column (here employee name) in the universal was not blank and hence no data can be selected.Can you guide if I am missing something?
