We are trying to design a new screen for data input with a grid similar to a spreadsheet. Let me try to picture our situation. Our products are garments in all kinds of sizes which could be XXS to XXL, 44 to 64, etc. Several size systems are at play here and every kind of garment has its own system as well as size range. Our design team needs an easy input screen with spreadsheet like layout. Per type of garment and per size there are several measurements to be made. Last week we upgrade the SF from 2018.02 to 2018.03 and since then we have trouble with the performance. Our application starts normal but when we choose for the first time a (simple) menu-option the waitingtime is more then 6 minutes before it shows a result. The same after every 'refresh model'. Similar problem occurs when we start the SF itself, if freezes about 15 seconds before we can chosse an option. How do I turn this off? I have a view that calculates real-time timings, however I notice that because of lookups the view gets queried once for itself but then also for every lookup. There are many performance issues with this:Why the OR statements and not the actual pre-filter, they tend to be less performant than the exists clause in the pre-filter. Why all lookups are based on the base-table with a left join? Why not directly lookup on the lookup table?This setup is really killing me. When exporting data to Excel the character “&” is being shown as “&”. This is done by the button “Exporteren” in the toolbar of the Windows GUI. Can this be fixed please?
I found this a bit odd. I have a group of pre-filters that are off hidden and they showed up in the query. Because I missed a pre-filter, I missed some data records. Hi,We're setting up OpenID Provisioning for our application and we have a question about mapping the ‘Tenant’ claim to multiple tenants. It's a single Azure AD OpenID connection that has all the users from both tenants in it on their side. We have two tenants set up in IAM and we're wondering what the best way is to map the Tenant (which is to be filled with ‘iss’) claim to each of the tenants. Does Indicium run well in a Linux environment? I haven't tried Mono yet but apparently it is capable of running .net core applications. Is the current version of Indicium ready for it?
I want to show a text field with 4 or 5 lines high, but without the Magnifier next to it. There is no relation on this field. Where can I turn this off? Or, how can I make a text field larger without using the domain control type 'Multiline’ Much appreciated! Alex
hi all, I was wondering, can anyone shine a light on this. I have a record (shipment - saved). I edit and add a Ship. This ship has some info like time of departure. These field are displayed in my Shipment screen as Expression fields. However, when i Edit Shipment, with the looking glass Add a new Ship, insert this… the expression fields remain empty until I save the shipment. Is this the normal flow of things? It happens in both web gui and windows gui. I of course would like the fields to be refreshed after inserting a new ship and connecting it to my shipment (so without the save). Who knows?! Alex
Hello, I'm not sure if it happened after the update to version 2020.1, but if I do a creation and I get the question if I want to copy project folder then no new version folder will be created. Permissions on the directory are correct. It is noticeable that in the "Copy project version" screen Project is empty and the version is set to 1.00. I can select the project and set the correct version number and all is being update except the creation of the new folder. What could be the cause of this?
Can’t we have a setting in IAM on user level where we can setup the Universal session Time Out for a user. There are user groups, like engineers, warehouse people, (truck) drivers who are not using an application all day long but only a few times per day. They need to login again and open their windows (Documents) and filters which they had open when they left the device. These people are not office workers but need to do some actions in an application during the day. It’s a horror for them if they need to re-open al the windows and setting the filters they had opened in the morning.
For example, consider a table purchase_order with a lookup to an address table.The link is made to the PK field of the address table.In the purchase order screen, I want to be able to show fields of the address as separate fields.I know it is possible to work with expression fields, but multiple lookup queries to the same table is not desirable.Concatenate address fields is also not what I want. I’m trying to setup a connection between my application and the simple notification service (SNS) from AWS. This is proving to be troublesome because of the way AWS manages these subscriptions.To subscribe AWS first sends a subscription token to the endpoint (in indicium) that will receive the SNS notifications. Hi, I have a table with several fields. One of them being a number that is sometimes generated, sometimes entered manually. So next to this field I would like to have a button (with some code behind it..) that says ‘generate number’. However, I can’t find it or am looking in the wrong direction. Things tried; made a combo-field. When selected manual; it does nothing. When selected ‘generate’ it generates the number. (works OK-ish, but wrong design) Made a Task with a button, but this appears in the top left corner (next to Print icon). A user of the web GUI wants to create a new password for his user account. The authentication methode is “IAM” and login verification is set to “Password” in IAM. Because we host the application on our IIS for multiple customers, we are the administrator of IAM for these customers. I know I can set a new password in IAM myself, but I do not want to know the users password. So I want to let him change the password himself. The settings “Allow change” in IAM is set to “True” and Expires is set to “Change after login”. The user is able to set a new password in the following form: After changing the password, the following message appears: So far so good. But when trying to login with the new password, I get an error: But the user can login with his original password, so the change/update did not work! I have table task where you select the organisation and after executing the task a screen opens with the selected organisation. Is it possible to get the id of that organisation in the url. So like below and than with organisation_id = 6?
Let's say we have an order table containing orders numbered 1, 2, 3 etc. This order number is in the column ‘id’ which is the primary key of the table. These numbers are always integers but they are not an identity. When adding an order to the table a bit of logic needs to determine the next available number. In principle this can be done with max(id) + 1. This works fine in the Windows GUI by putting this logic in a default procedure. It stops working however when an order with the same id is added by someone or something else simultaneously.Say the highest order id is 10. Then I start creating a new order in the GUI which by the aforementioned logic gets order id 11.In the mean time another process inserts order 11 into the table. Then when I click the save button the GUI tries to save the new order with id 11 which is not available anymore and an error message follows.I've tried to get around this by using an insert handler with the same max(id) + 1 logic. This eliminates the error

We have deployed the Software Factory to Azure. With the new 2022.1 release we are unable to save the deployment .sql scripts. Hey all,I have a view with 3 prefilters. Is it possible to create a layout proc or ctx proc to toggle the filters on/off? [1][2][3]If prefilter [1] is active, I want [2] and [3] to be hidden. I do this with ctx procs for print buttons and tasks, but for prefilters I can't get it running. Overlooking something or is this not possible? Thanks!
Some time ago we have created a branch from our original application. The original application is live. We have merged the trunk project to the branch and we will soon go live with this new/extended application. When we want to create a branch from this branch we receive a message that this is not supported. Since the original application will be obsolete anyway, we would like to 'upgrade' our current branch to trunk. Is this possible and if so, how? We are currently using 2018.3.

We want to access our Universal GUI application from multiple domains and would like to know if this is possible.We have set in our Azure env the FD to handle second domain, and all works ok into seeing the login screen.The Universal GUI however only supports to be configured 1 to 1 in the config.json → serviceurl parameter with the same domain of the url is accessed from.Is it possible that we specify an array of service urls like below ?
