Hi all,Wouldn’t it be nice to have a copy to clipboard for specific fields to make the life of the user easier. The User does not need to mess around trying to Select, Highlight then copy with keyboard Ctrl+C then Ctrl+V or right click when allowed to Copy+Paste etc… Too much hassle too many operations. This could be easily created for both the Web and Universal GUI.A Control could be added on the Domain for enabling the Copy to Clipboard. That would show a small icon for Copy to Clipboard on the related field (form, grid) The value of the field to be copied to Clipboard. How does that sound?Anyone else have additional input for such functionality and amend the above, please let us know in the idea comments.
It would be nice if you have the option to hide a task in the taskbar when you use the task as a double click task. For example: When you use double click in the grid to navigate to the form or details from that record then the task doesn't (always) need to be visible in the taskbar. But now when you hide the task the double click function doesn't work.
Selecting multiple prefilters now always leads to: where [prefilter 1 query] AND [prefilter 2 query]. I would also very much like to have the possibility to make OR prefilters. Not only between columns (colour = red OR shape = square) but also within columns (colour = red OR colour = blue OR shape = square).
Hello dear Community readers, In the upcoming release of 2023.1 we expect to technically change the way screens are opened for every screen that used the ribbon to select a project and version (so almost all SF screens).A side-effect is that is it now possible to automatically (read: with process flows) open other SF screens without losing the connection to your selected project and version. I could think of a few places where this is very helpful, for instance to switch from data model to subject with respect for the table that you were working on.My question to you is; where would you like to use this the most in the Software Factory? I would love to hear your ideas! Greetings,Ester Product Owner SF & IAM
In the project I work on it happens that both my colleague and I happen to be working in the same Code template. Most of time we communicate about what we work on at what time, but sometimes it happens that we work on the same long piece of coding. It would be nice if I could get a notification or visible indication if someone else opened the code (externally). An alert icon next to the 'Open externally’ buttonExample of Alert icon next to ‘Open externally’ button
With the release of the 2023.1 version of the Thinkwise Suite a new feature was introduced, the Smoke Test. I would like to utilize this feature and allow it to do a quick performance scan.Since it's actions will require the opening of screens, it could help identify possible performance issues within an application. In order to so, it needs to store the duration of the steps which are executed.Could this be implemented in the Smoke Test?
Currently the GUI does not distinguish between Zoom screens versus Main screens in the Open Documents part of the Menu. It would be very helpful to have a subtle indication (a small icon f.e.) of an Open Document being a Zoom screen, as it would help users to quickly know where to go (usually to Main) and/or which screens to close (usually Zoom).Which one is Main and which are Zoom screens?
Does the Universal already support fetching the current location from a device that has a GPS function? Or is there a way to get it using HTML and Javascript (https://love2dev.com/blog/html-geolocation/) in for example a task to then fetch a route via API to a known location?
I like to show the filename/textual value of an image upload field as tooltip. The example above shows status values as icon, which saves a lot of column width. For most users this is very clear, but for new user it is valuable to show the meaning of the icon as tooltip. In the Windows GUI the values are already visible in the filter.
Related to the Question we made :We would like a way to hide the translation of Task buttons, to only show the icons.
I would like to see that the GUI shows a visuals indicator that a user is in a GUI flow. Now when you go from flow starting task A to task B (with a for example a decision node or HTTP requests in between) the user doesn't see that a next task is coming up. Implementation could be something like a tsf_send_progress idea where are user is aware that the flow is getting info, making a decision or whatever is in the flow.
Hi All,Opening this as an Idea so that it can get votes and be implemented earlier. As per discussion on the Roadmap for the tooltips:“We are missing the Tooltips on Labels in Forms in Universal. We would like to provide the user once he hovers on the label of the field an explanation of what the field is supposed to contain in case the translation is not clear enouph.Right now we only get sort of tooltip with the complete value only when the value of the field is not fully visible. I suppose it should be configurable of what to show, a. the tooltip text or b. the value if not fitting the field width.”“Any given field I would like to specify a different tooltip when hovering the label of the control. Same way I define a translation for a Label I would like to specify a tooltip visible upon hovering the label.”“I expect the Universal GUI to read the Tooltip text column from the Subject > Columns > Translations and display that as tooltip when hovering over the (label/header of the) column. At least in the Form, but preferably also on the Grid header.”
If i’m correct, currently the grid row height set in the Subject is ignored by Universal. Because of this, we can’t show as much rows as we would like to. Why is this currently the case? And can we have this functionality in Universal implemented?
I am currently testing ml on my laptop. So I have sqlserver, indicium and ml-docker image running locally.Training a model takes quite a long time. In my first tests I tried to train a table with 100,000 rows with 4 predictors. I left my laptop on and 8 hours later it was still training the first model. It would be useful to get a time estimation of how long it will take to train a model, so that it is clear whether waiting for the process is useful or whether it is better to use another dataset.
