IN 2023.1 you get the popup to select a branch if you have multiple active branches. However, more often then not you are working exclusively in 1 branch at a time. I suggest adding a default branch option to the user which branch should be loaded by default, this way you won't have to select the branch every time you boot up the software factory.

In 2023.2, you can now specify to reuse the chosen Model and Branch the next time you open the Software Factory.
In case a non-active branch was chosen previously, the pop-up will reappear upon opening the Software Factory to allow the user to choose a different model and/or branch.
