Close document starting point process flow

Hello, if i look at our docs page, the following is stated: "The ID of the document that has to be closed. If this process action is not a start action, then the value of this parameter will be used to determine which document must be closed. "https://docs.thinkwisesoftware.com/docs/sf/process_flows.html#close-documentFrom this you can deduce that a close document step can be modelled as a start action of a process flow. But I cannot get this to work. Is this possible or not?

Screen type layout

Hi all,In the image below you can see that I have a section Vessel Schedule Detail (right) which is a detail component of the section Vessel Schedule (left). But in the whole context we can also see that Vessel Schedule Detail is a level lower compared to Vessel Schedule. How can I move the Vessel Schedule Detail to the same level as Vessel Schedule. I think this will also move the tasks of Vessel Schedule to the left, which are on the right now (red).Thanks.

Combobox does not function as expected in Universal GUI

When using a combobox (a lookup of another table) we run into some strange things when using the Universal GUI.We have linked a field to a table via a look up.When opening the relevant task screen, the value is shown correctly.When we open the look up the value is not selected in the list of (look up-)values. If we select a value, put the focus on another field and then open the relevant lookup again, the value is selected.In addition, the selected value is not displayed when the lookup is opened. Depending on the position in the list, the user has to scroll before the value appears.Both points work normally (as expected in the Windows GUI).Are these bugs in the Universal GUI, is this not supported yet in Universal GUI or do we have to set up something extra to use the Universal GUI for the use of combo boxes?

Error with auto update form - Unviversal

Not always, but frequent I get the following error, it started when I activated edit by default on a form. Sometimes after clear cache it works.. sometimes it gives me the error again.

automagically regenerate the triggers for a view when the view is regenerated

We have several VIEWs with a trigger attached.Everytime we add a column to the view or make a small change to the internal query we need to manually remember to also regenerate the triggers for that VIEW.Is there a way to automate that? An error like the ones the user get when a DEFAULT or LAYOUT isn't regenerated would also help a lot. Currently the trigger is just missing causing seemingly mysterious things to happen (the mystery is mostly why they do not happen).

EDIT: It seems to be related with Firefox. In Chrome all looks correct. Hi,I'm currently doing some testing of our TW applications in the universal interface and I noticed the following: Why are the “Aantal” and “Ontvangen en geindentificeerd” not on the same baseline?Is this a feature or am I doing something wrong? Maybe it is the fault of Firefox?

Guidelines to store tenant specific information in a multi tenant architecture

Hi, Are there any guidelines when implementing a multi tenant architecture using Thinkwise. Which means we have 1 database instance for multiple tenants (organizations) sharing the same tables. Each table will have a tenant_id to distinct the owner of the record.I want to figure out which possibilities there are to store tenant specific information in a table:Creating for instance 10 extra fields that can be used by the tenants is probably not really a good option in Thinkwise as I've not found a way to have context/tenant specific translations. Creating tenant specific fields in the base tables is probably also not the best option if we have for instance 5 tenants that want to use 10 additional fields. which means we have to create 50 extra fields in he base tablesHope to get some good ideas from theThinkwise community. hi,During the Creation steps in Deployment, I’ve had some problems because I used preserved SQL names (check, revoke) in the data model. How come the SF does not validate this during Creation? Or am I missing something?The list of preserved words is getting bigger and bigger..

"Generate source code" is waiting for "Execute source code"

I try to generate source code but it tells me it is waiting for “Execute source code”. No big deal normally but “Execute source code” isn't doing anything as far as I can see… When I try to connect to the db with the little lightning bold button and press Execute nothing seems to happen….Other times I ran into this issue I was able to connect and cancel it, but not today :(Any ideas?

Report preview in screen

Is it possible to show a DevExpress report preview as a screen component like the file preview in the Windows GUI?Our intention is to show for a list of records a preview of the related report, to verify if the data is ok, to reduce the user input for click on a report button and each time a popup is coming.

Barcode input

I am building a screen in which a barcode can be pasted and entered with a barcode scanner. For this purpose I’ve created a view with only its form visible and in it only a barcode field. This field should be editable multiple times without having to click any GUI buttons. According to the view itself these are updates of the barcode field. Behind the view is an instead of update trigger that adds the new data to a table. This works. As soon as a barcode is typed into the field and ctrl+enter’d a new row is added to the table.The problem is the form isn’t editable immediately despite having auto-edit enabled in its subject settings. I need to click in another tab in the gui and then return to the view to have its form editable. This seems to be the standard behavior of auto-edit in tables too.I’ve done some testing with combinations in a process flow to make the form editable without needing any user input between barcode updates but so far I’ve been unsuccessful to make this work. Hide dots on cube chart in Universal

I created a cube with view type chart and chart type 2nd line. We use the chart in the Universal UI. On the x-axis dates are shown and on the y-axis a value is shown. The data is visible when hovering over the dots on the line, e.g. “2021-10-01, 44.13K”. Is it possible to hide the dots on the line or disable the hovering feature so the user can not see the value?

Some questions on the scheduler

We have been working a bit with the scheduler and I have some questions on how to solve it or when it could be seen in the GUI. How can we have the date range in Portuguese localization? It appears that with the scheduler component there is nog update button, how can I refresh it? Is there a way to dynamically color the bars? In this case there are 2 distinct flows.. I want to give them a different color. And if I have 3 different flows I want 3 different colors for the tasks matching the flow. Is there a way to show the day of the week that is shown? Can you give weekends / holidays a background color? Can we zoom in smaller then days (I know that question has been asked before). can the list on the left be a tree for example? That you can show the main levels and expend to lower levels?

Web gui - show a table full grid in a popup

Hi, is this possible, and if so, how can I achieve this. I have a table, with a task. This task must open a popup with a grid view of another table, here I select a row, click ‘ok’, show all records underlying in this selected Row, do some selections (maybe all, maybe some), click ‘go’, do some Code on the selected Rows. Main thing is the popup with all the grid rows.

Lookup without input field

Hi,Is it possible to create a lookup without a keyboard input field? See the attached image. I only want the dropdown menu, no field with a cursor in which I can search through. The reason for this is that we use tablets, and whenever we select a text input field the keyboard appears in the screen and the user has to close the keyboard.

Rights can not be applied because of multiple tenants applied to one application

I upgraded our applications in a single IAM with multiple tenants. There are 2 tenants and one user from one tenant has access to different applications. We achieved this by making a new tenant, create 2 usergroups, for each tenant 1, and then aply the user rights to IAM. Works fine. However, when I try to upgrade these applications I have the following error displayed while trying to applying the roles to the database:I bypassed the situation by removing the authorisation before applying the roles to the database and recreate the authorisation afterwards. Why is this not possible? (using TW platform 2021.3)

Possibility to disable validation(s) for a specific process flow

We use the HTTP connector to communicate with a API hosted by Swagger UI. Because this API services is running on the same server as our Indicium (IIS) we use a localhost URL. Downloads from TCP in error (Firewall issue)

Hi,when we try do download an installation package from the TCP of about 400MB in size, we can't download it at our office due to some firewall issue.At home, downloading is no issue.Other downloads don’t have this issue, and we can easily download files of several GB's.As our technical IT partner has some issues finding the root-cause and solve it, the question if someone else experienced this issue and has a solution.It should be somewhere in the firewall (ours is a Watchguard)Thanks.best regards,Cyril
