The ‘in combined filter’ is automatically set to 0 when the domain of that column is changed.

Is this by design? It is very annoying since this change is most of the time unnoticed and end-user notice that the combined filter doesn’t work correctly anymore.

Hi Allard,

The ‘In combined filter’ value should not necessarily be set to 0 when you change the domain of a column.

It is possible to specify on the domain level what should be the default ‘In combined filter’ value. When the domain has the value 0, this will also by the case by default for columns that are linked to this domain. When is has the value 1, it will use that value for the column default.

This behavior also applies to some other settings that can be found in the domain screen.

I suspect the domains you are using have the value 0 for this setting. My advice is to look at your domain settings, and change the values from 0 to 1 when desired. This should to the trick when linking a column to another domain.
