Show User Location on MAP

We are trying to create a screen where the user can get their current location and want to show this directly for verification using the maps component.From here we want to start location-related tasks, such as field inspections, observations, etc.For the test, this view is used ​SELECT tsf_user = dbo.tsf_user()     , device_gps_location = NULL     , maps_coords = '{"CoordSets": [[{"Lon":"4.7635140", "Lat":"52.4253230"}]]}'     , map_marker = 'BLUE'​It looks like below:  A marker on the map should move to current location after leaving the GPS Location field.I know how to control the maps component, but I can't get it to work.If possible the current location of the user is shown immediately when the screen is opened and the users allows the application to use the location. Any ideas?

Hi,When calling a message with the “exec tsf_send_message” in a control procedure (i.e. default) you get a nicely styled message box.  styled popup messageHowever, calling this function again when a popup is already in use (i.e. task) it seems that the message doesn’t use the styles like normally but instead uses the browser’s alert message.showing message while task is active uses browser’s alertI want my messages to have a unified style when calling them with “exec tsf_send_message”. Can this be fixed?

Page not found when executing an API POST call

Hello, I was referencing this community post Upload multiple files using the Universal GUI to implement the bulk drag and drop file insertion and I have encountered an issue with the target table’s page not being found when I execute the API call.By using an HTTP request platform, I have made the simplest call possible to the table in question (both with and without authentication), for testing purposes, making sure to include the correct URL (the pattern being “{serverURL}/{appIDorAlias}/{table name}”), however, I always get a 404 status in return.Does this have anything to do with the API endpoint not being visible and/or is there any further configuration that has to be done (in IAM, for instance), or am I simply missing anything? Thank you.

Go to row not working on different pages

Hello! I have noticed that, sometimes, when a screen has pages, the “Go to row” process action does not work if the record is saved with a custom task on a different page than the one that is opened.For example, now i have the first page opened. If the record is saved on the second one, the focus from “Go to row” is not going to be put on the record.Is there a different way to select a row even if it is on another page?

Disable the PWA installation option

Due to a problem we have with the OpenID Connect authentication provider in combination with PWA we would like to disable the “Install as PWA” from the menu so end-users cannot use this functionality and just use the browser based variant. Does anyone know if and how PWA installation can be disabled?

Why are all indexes rebuilt during a smart upgrade

We currently use the Thinkwise 2023.3 product. It seems that in this version all indexes are being rebuilt when doing a smart upgrade.In the current version of our application only one new table is introduced, but it takes much longer than in the previous version of the SF (2023.1) we used. Hundreds if of indexes are created, so the upgrade takes longer than expected.Anybody else have experienced this? Is this new in this version and if so, why? Can't it be “smarter”?

More options and defaults in model settings.Open

It would be nice, and could save a lot of time if it was possible to specify a few things in the model settings ( else it costs a lot of time clicking, or things become dirty if you forget ), and user preferences might be different;Default filter visibility for domains ( I would say Never ). Default search visibility for domains ( I would say Never ). Default column type for views ( both at model and domain level, read only except ... ) Default column type for tables ( both at model and domain level, editable except ... ).I experience the current defaults as unsafe, as things you don’t want to show, show while you did not explicitly say that you want them to. If I want something to show, I have to go there and change the field order anyway, it could save a lot of time if I would not have to go to screens where I don’t want things to show. ( I can update the domain settings with an update on the SF database, but it would be nice to have a number of additional settings at model level ).

How to "unprotect" a branch named DEVELOP

In this topic it was suggested to make the DEVELOP branch unprotected. I’ve deleted all branches that has DEVELOP as origin, but it is still protected and I can not “un-protect” it. Please advice.NVM. I found out once I’ve deleted all branches, I can set the checkbox Protected manually.

Large buttons in Windows GUI

hi,Some of our customers find it difficult to use the small buttons in the Windows GUI. We have some large grids shown on large screens where the users have to look for the relatively tiny buttons in the upper left corner. Is there an option to enlarge the buttons add inline button label something else to make it easier to choose a specific taskOr else providing some prescription glasses with each license :-)

Dynamic report

I would like to generate dynamic Crystal Reports, where the customer (not the client which runs the application) can put the RPT files somewhere on disk, and via the Thinkwise Universal API I would like to run that RPT with passing parameters given in the API and save the pdf somewhere. I does not need to open the report itself in the application.For now I need to upload my RPT file in the Software factory and do a deploy each time. This is not realistic as the customer has their own developer and has about 1k reports do change

Question:What triggers the update application popup? The cause of my question is this. We add or change applications within IAM, but it looks to trigger this update popup even for users which are not affected by the new or changed application.

Give warning when editing Templates that is in Review statusMerged

When I am editing a template that is in Review status there is automatically an comment added like ‘The template '' was inserted by after the changelog was submitted for review.’I would like to get a warning before I can edit this template. In this warning I would like to have the option to change the status to ‘Development’

Iso week numbers in date selectorMerged

Can the date selector be modified so that it can also display the week numbers according to the ISO standard?The week numbers currently displayed do not correspond to the week numbers according to European standard. This is very confusing and can even lead to major misunderstandings.The extended property 'UseISOweekgroupintervals' also makes no difference.  See also ticket:  2370S  in TCPNB. The behavior of the data selector, with regard to week numbers, should not depend on the regional settings of the server.

Ability to set System flow schedule frequency to run all-dayOn the backlog

When the System flow schedules frequency is set to "Recurring", can starting at/to be not mandatory.. if empty then it's the whole day. I keep forgetting that 00 to 00 means not running.

tags system in universal GUI

In stead of using static categories in a tree, we would like to use more flexible tags system. similiar to what we have in this community.  This image of the community software of tags is the UX that is most often seen for adding tags, where you can start typing and choos a tag from the list. How would you recommend to simulate this in the universal GUI?

Importing data - Invalid OData URL error

Hi!I'm trying to import data in the Universal GUI, but receiving a "bad request” error message after finishing all the steps in the popup. Only the following info shows up in the error log:[ERR] Invalid OData URL. The path '"/_staged_import_organisation(14200c4a-ff5d-44c8-945d-5b588e98edac)/start_commit"' is invalid. (2f035637)Microsoft.OData.ODataException: Unsupported route. No matching entity or operation found.I'm importing a simple xls file with company names, directly into the table. Some columns in the destination table are mandatory (some checkboxes, user and datetime field) and I am providing a set value for these during the import.Any idea what's going on here?

Indicium live scrolling error logOpen

When we want to check the Indicium log it will always download the entire log and only way to see if new entries has been added is by downloading the entire file, opening the file and visually check.It would be very convenient to have a screen that shows the last x amount of logs and automatically loads new log lines. (Like the tail command). With an optional button to download the entire file.

Handle translations Case SensitiveOn the backlog

The SF/IAM databases are Case insensitve (Latin1_General_CI_AS) by default.As we sometimes make some mistakes (who doesn't), we'd like to correct the cases in translations.E.g. cange “Purchase order” to “Purchase Order”. Currently there are 2 workarounds:update the records in transl table or, change to “Purchase Order1”, sync to all IAM's and change to correct “Purchase Order” The idea we'd like to see implemented is that a collate Latin1_General_CS_AS compare takes place and also the update will take place in this collation so the correct cases will be stored.

Getting a -5 from a generate report action which should only go as low as -4

Is it possible that the docs was not updated https://docs.thinkwisesoftware.com/docs/sf/process_flows_connectors#generate-report ? it says theres a status code as low as -4 but i am getting a contraint error on the output parameter because it is trying to output -5. Now i am not 100% sure there isn’t something weird going on in my process and the -5 is coming from somewhere else. But to rule it out would be nice to get some confirmation. Thanks.

Add values to cube filter which need to be excluded, instead of only includedClosed

At this moment you can only add values to the cube filter which need to be included in the cube. If you want to exclude one value from a range of values, this becomes much harder. It would be handy to make it so that you can also enter the value which needs to be excluded from the cube. Best scenario would be to make it so that you can configure this the same way as a prefilter for example. You might want to filter specific values based on the cube view that’s enabled and filter other values (or not filter at all) when another cube view is enabled.
