We are experimenting with drag and drop in the Universal GUI and it looks really promising. For a certain application we are trying to link rows from one grid to rows in another grid. This works fine but we don’t want to allow users to drag a row to another row that is already linked. Is this possible? Using the context logic disables it for the entire table. We could of course show a message using the task logic and use conditional formatting to make it more intuitive but I’ve seen the cursor change to a forbidden sign while dragging across other tables. Is this something we can program as well?Also, if a user can’t find a match in the target table while dragging, we would like to allow them to drop the row on the table rather than a row so we can create a row for them. I can’t seem to get this to work, the drag and drop task parameters get filled with target row columns wherever I release the drag.The docs mention the following:Does this mean it is possible to drag to the table rath

To more easily identify which control procedures are not yet covered by a unit test, it would be nice if there was a prefilter for this in the functionality screen. This way we can find these more easily and create them directly in the detail tab. An added bonus would be to display a badge at the unit tests, so you can immediately see by how many unit tests the control procedure is covered.
when you are configuring mock data, the complete data set can sometimes become quite cluttered. Also, you cannot immediately see which results are returned by an expression. I would like to see a tab next to the 'column values', or in another place if that makes more sense, with 'data', where the result of the complete mock data set can be displayed. Then we wouldn't have to click back and forth through all the configured rows to see the result of the mock data set and look for where an expression is incorrect or data is wrong, for example.
Simular to this users experenience but not quite:When using GridEditUpdateUsingRefreshOption yes, we found it was only working on windows gui against the SF not against IAM. When i added GridEditUpdateUsingRefreshOption to the global runtime configurations in IAM it was working in all of our DTAP enviroments. But when trying to figure out why it works, what overrules what. I tried seeing if an application extended property could overrule the global runtime config, and in doing so, GridEditUpdateUsingRefreshOption stopped working. I tried the task resetting extended properties, deleting GridEditUpdateUsingRefreshOption in the application, and adding it again, i tried deleting and adding GridEditUpdateUsingRefreshOption to the global configuration, i tried closing and reopening my gui after every step. I have tried application pool recycling and restarting indicium. Whatever i tried, in our Acceptance the GridEditUpdateUsingRefreshOption is no longer working. In the windows gui against d
Is there a way to make a column “primary key” even when the table already existed with no primary keys at all? There are things you have to consider, right? All the already existing data needs to be formatted to this new primary key, so it can’t be null So how do you alter this data? Do you have to manually do this in data conversion or SSMS?
In most (web based) applications it's common to use pre and post fixes, like this on in the omage. That way you can easily indicate how the data in the field should be interpreted. Usecases are currencies, percentage, wheight, degrees, etc. What are the plans for the universal in that respect?
Recently an undocumented change has been made in Indicium (see this comment from Vincent Doppenberg). When using universal on tablets, the space available in the screen becomes increasingly important. We are now in the situation where users go into the factory with the tablet to do various safety checks on various machines. Now we see that tasks are quickly truncated from text+icon to icon, with the display type set to "Icon + text (> text > icon). Yet we see that there is still very much space available in the action bar. Can we soon expect better use of this available space, or can we influence this ourselves with screentypes?More then enough room for tasks 1 pixel smaller, tasks only show icon or go to overflow, while there is enough room for text (and maybe icon)

Available configurations are: None - No user preferences are stored and the user preferences ribbon is hidden. Resize - Users can collapse and expand their menu and ribbon. Furthermore, they can change the sort sequence and column width in a grid view. Move - Resize plus the option to configure their own start objects and set the sort sequence of all subjects. OnOff - All options except for changing screen types. Complete - All user preferences options are available to the user. The idea consists of 2 parts:No more ‘grouped’ options. Get more control over the separate features you want the user the be able to access. For example: - Change screentype yes/no - Toggle Details yes/no - User defined prefilters yes/no - List yes/no etc
I would like an option to invoke the standard import functionality through a process flow or another method. Currently, the import/export function is hidden behind the three dots, making it difficult for some users to find. It would be great if this functionality could simply be started from a regular task.

In our IAM database the table use_log_usr_action has grown to 12GB. Information in the table dates back to 2014 in our case. Models and branches in de log are long gone. So it would be great if there was a way to clean things up and create some free space.The same question goes for table use_log_session. That one even goes back to 2012… I would like to see a cleanup flow in IAM or instructions here how te clean it up… I know Thinkwise uses these tables as well to determine the amount of users to calculate the license fee each year. But we don't need the information older then for instance two or three years.
With an HTTP connector within a custom protocol process flow we make a call to an external API and in certain scenarios it returns an expected 404 code as response. How can we ensure that such a 404 response is not written as an error in the Indicium log? We like to keep the log file as clean as possible.
In the web-technology there is an option to create a print css file, that is used when you print a page.Most browsers co-operate with this feature:<link rel="stylesheet" media="print" href="print.css" />My suggestion is to enable this option and in that css file to hide the taskbar, combined filter, tabpages. And make it a bit optimized to print a grid. This way you can quickly print a grid to a PDF (or actually to paper).

What is the purpose of being able to enable/disable process actions in a role? The reason asking is that when one action is not enabled, the whole process flow is not granted and therefor not working.Here an example situation:Example of a simple process flowThere is a table task on several screens which all execute the same type of action and flow to opening a report. For management it is easy to have all entries in the same flow.In a role only one or limited screens need to be available to the user, so only those parts of the flow need to be accessible I would think. Lets say the first line in the example and not the Pink and Green marked ones.Another consequence is when you are developing and adding a new screen with the same task and you add it to the flow. Let say the Green marked one. Now in all role that have this flow, the functionality is broken, because there is a new action available even though that would not touch anything in the old roles. Although there is a solution mentioned about 8 months ago to solve this problem (disabling auto-edit), this is not possible for our solution. We make use of the form list functionality which depends on auto-edit being always “on”. The seconds possible cause is that we make use of state changing forms. This means that a user enters data in the form and when done, clicks on a task-button to post the form to be processed by a backoffice system. The task-button starts a process which performs additional validation and when successful posts the form. The posting of the form changes the state of the form by which it is no longer visible to the end-user and the form is automatically closed using a process task. The form is closed, but this does not prevent presenting the “Object was not found...” error message. We know that the form is no longer available (due to no longer complying to the filter condition of the variant), but cannot find a way to suppress the error message.
Hi, based on an old question drag and drop options with keyboard shortcuts:How wonderful it would be if we can enhance the current drag and drop feature, with some configurable parameters? Now you can only link 1 task with the dnd action, but with some extra keys you can link unlimited tasks.Like in Windows when you copy files with CTRL+drag and move with SHIFT+drag or create a shortcut with ALT+dragFor example, we want to use this in an inventory list, when dragging items with CTRL gives a popup with parameters to fill, and normal dragging will skip the popup and use defaults.So until AI already knows what the task should be, and there’s no need of shortcuts, we can use this feature to make the customers happy :-)

I'd like to be able to perform a Code search in the SF using multiple search strings, instead of the one string we currently provide. Code review is one of the most important methods to improve application quality. Code review, in my opinion is not an optional step. Therefore I think we should remove the option to disable code review. Non-reviewed code should always throw a validation message.For the people flying solo, at least use the AI code review feature…
