Page not found when executing an API POST call

Hello, I was referencing this community post Upload multiple files using the Universal GUI to implement the bulk drag and drop file insertion and I have encountered an issue with the target table’s page not being found when I execute the API call.By using an HTTP request platform, I have made the simplest call possible to the table in question (both with and without authentication), for testing purposes, making sure to include the correct URL (the pattern being “{serverURL}/{appIDorAlias}/{table name}”), however, I always get a 404 status in return.Does this have anything to do with the API endpoint not being visible and/or is there any further configuration that has to be done (in IAM, for instance), or am I simply missing anything? April 15, 2024:Full release 2024.1.13 Fixed: Pressing Alt + Enter when using the `classic` key binding in a multiline control, would not insert the enter at the caret position, it was always added at the end. This has been fixed. While using 'classic' key bindings, there was an issue navigating through grid records in a default editable grid. When the arrow keys were used to leave a record, the changed value wasn't always saved. This has been fixed. A bad request error occurred in both key binding modes when leaving an empty text field using arrow key navigation in the default editable grid. This has been fixed. Use 'open lookup' as a start action for a process flowUnder review

I would like to use the open lookup action (clicking the lookup icon) as a start action for a process flow.This would allow us to guide user actions when they click this icon.We often find that users click this icon while editing or adding a row because the lookup column did not display the object they needed. So they open the lookup and often need to disable a prefilter to see the rows they needed. Our users complain that this is hard to understand and to much of a hassle.With a process flow we would be able to automatically disable prefilters when they open the lookup, making the entire process more intuitive. Using a process flow for this allows us to configure which prefilters should be disabled and which may remain active.Implementing this also opens up all kind of nice features since so many things are already possible using process flows. We could also configure it to send a user to a form in edit mode so they can immediately add a missing row without any extra clicks for exampl

Multi-row one by one processflow executionOpen

hi,It’s possible to start a task for more than 1 selected row in a grid. Please make it also possible to start a processflow for more than 1 selected row.More details here, where the multi row execution seems a fair solution for this. But that is a good solution if you want to do stuff with multiple rows in 1 processflow. I just want 1 processflow handle 1 selected row at the time, but when selecting multiple rows, it should execute the processflow one by one. As a processflow starts with a table task in this case, please add support for this so we can implement it like we can with tasks.Thank you!

A little improvement of the tsf_user() functionNeeds feedback

I found 2 problems with the tsf_user function;If I use the function as DBA (with a direct login to the database) the function gives a guid. The function can confuse the SQL-Server query optimizer with the result that the function gets executed multiple times.As a workaround I replaced the function by a view, which checks if the CONTEXT_INFO value isn’t a GUID, and an additional check whether the user returned is actually present in our user table.I did not investigate what it would do with the performance when I made the function schema bound, but the view is much faster… and I think that making the function schema bound might give the same result. ( It would not bind to anything, but SQL-Server might understand that there is no need to evaluate the function more then once ).

Multiple keys to select from detail in relationshipNeeds feedback

I was just reading “filtering in a pivot grid”, and remembered that I had this Idea.If you have a list and a detail, you can select multiple items in the list, but the detail is only linked to the main focus item.I have a use case in which it would be great if you could expand this to, this key or … that key, or …, etc.With a filter it is possible to have a filter to select multiple options, but this could be less clear to the user, and the fact that it is not possible to make the filter mandatory makes that we can’t use this option. We have a large “fact table”, and I’m looking for a clear way in which a user can select some options to query, without ever selecting everything. The user should not start with everything, but with nothing. If you have a graph, and 1000 categories, you don’t want to start with “show everything”.If the graph would be a detail of a list with categories, the user could select one category and see the graph, or use the control key to select more.

Universal Session Time Out parameter

Can’t we have a setting in IAM on user level where we can setup the Universal session Time Out for a user. There are user groups, like engineers, warehouse people, (truck) drivers who are not using an application all day long but only a few times per day. They need to login again and open their windows (Documents) and filters which they had open when they left the device. These people are not office workers but need to do some actions in an application during the day. It’s a horror for them if they need to re-open al the windows and setting the filters they had opened in the morning.

Session expired User Experience needs to be improvedOpen

Recently an undocumented change has been made in Indicium (see this comment from Vincent Doppenberg). As a result a lot of our users (and those of other customers as the Community shows) experience the below annoying behavior:After a bit of idle time, they return to the Application and see the screen still open on the Subject where they left it They then click to continue their work and instead of the GUI suddenly throws a Session expired popup (this should be much more elegant, as per this Idea: Universal GUI - elegant session timeout | Thinkwise Community (thinkwisesoftware.com)) However, the user's login is still valid (for example because they checked the Remember me box on the login page, or because they use Azure AD as Identity provider for which the login is configured to stay valid longer) Then after clicking the ‘Close’ button on the Session expired popup, the GUI automatically redirects, reauthenticates, and reopens the original screen (unfortunately the Start Objects start a

Session is expired in Universal GUI

Since I installed a new Windows GUI (2023.3) en Universal GUI (2023.2) version last weekend (27/1/2024) some users of the UGUI are complaining that they need to login again after a while of not-working. The users are truckdrivers who deliver goods who need there tablets every now and then when they arrive at the customer to let them sign their packing slip. Before this weekend the UGUI-application did not show this behaviour and it disturbs the drivers because of the time it takes to login again.Did something change and if so is there a timer (now) in Indicium or a extended property I have to code ?

Universal GUI - elegant session timeoutOpen

As discussed in the thread below the Universal GUI currently doesn't handle session timeout's in an elegant way. If you leave a Universal GUI open it could happen that when you return to it your session has timed out. As a user you only experience this then you try to manipulate something (save data in a form that is on auto edit in our case).Wouldn't it be more desirable to run a function after the Universal GUI comes into foces that checks if the current session is still valid? How to delete base model related stuff

Hi, In the past, we included the base model for the Exchange connector into our work project. But we stopped with that and now we use the ms_graph functionality.But there are several ‘exh_**’ domains and tables auto generated by the base model, but these can't be deleted from the SF user interface.Even not after unlinking the base model from the project and generating the definitions.Is there an option to get them safely deleted from the model?Thanks in advance!

Data being cut off in excel column DevExpress

HI!I have an issue with displaying the data in a cell. We created a report in DevExpress and want to make it displayable in an excel sheet. All data is shown correctly in every cell. However in one cell the data is cut off and not all data is visible.The cell has the options 'Can shrink', 'Can grow', 'Multiline' and 'Word Wrap' enabled.What can I do to ensure that the entire text is visible?Attached are printscreens of the report.Kind regards,Linde

GridEditUpdateUsingRefreshOption extended propery not working as expected

Simular to this users experenience but not quite:When using GridEditUpdateUsingRefreshOption yes, we found it was only working on windows gui against the SF not against IAM. When i added GridEditUpdateUsingRefreshOption to the global runtime configurations in IAM it was working in all of our DTAP enviroments. But when trying to figure out why it works, what overrules what. I tried seeing if an application extended property could overrule the global runtime config, and in doing so, GridEditUpdateUsingRefreshOption stopped working. I tried the task resetting extended properties, deleting GridEditUpdateUsingRefreshOption in the application, and adding it again, i tried deleting and adding GridEditUpdateUsingRefreshOption to the global configuration, i tried closing and reopening my gui after every step. I have tried application pool recycling and restarting indicium. Whatever i tried, in our Acceptance the GridEditUpdateUsingRefreshOption is no longer working. In the windows gui against d

DnD file into Form

In Windows and Web GUI it is possible to drag a file into the form (in edit mode) to upload said file instead of clicking the “upload” button inside the column. However, in Universal GUI when dragging a file to the form it looks like it would work because of img 1. but does not actually upload the file. (the “Document upload” field stays empty)Is there a specific setting to enable this or am I seeing this the wrong way? img 1.

Reserving space in the taskbar

When using universal on tablets, the space available in the screen becomes increasingly important. We are now in the situation where users go into the factory with the tablet to do various safety checks on various machines. Now we see that tasks are quickly truncated from text+icon to icon, with the display type set to "Icon + text (> text > icon). Yet we see that there is still very much space available in the action bar. Can we soon expect better use of this available space, or can we influence this ourselves with screentypes?More then enough room for tasks 1 pixel smaller, tasks only show icon or go to overflow, while there is enough room for text (and maybe icon)

Why is my task parameter default input read only in the SF?

Hi, under the performance tab of task parameters There are options to enable/disable task, default and layout input/output. For some reason the default input is always read-only us: We tried to discover why, and it seems we simply don’t have edit rights for this column, as seen in the results of this query on our Software Factory IAM: Is there any reason for this?Also: does disabling the default input type limit the amount of default (stage_add) calls to Indicium?

Search / Combined filter should allow easy disabling of Pre-filtersOpen

The Search functionality of Universal is a great way to find specific records. This search is performed against all records in the Subject. However, only the records that match the pre-filters are displayed. The GUI does not inform the user of records found behind active pre-filters. Desired solution:In case the Search does find records which are HIDDEN behind Pre-filters: trigger a similar Snackbar message as triggered when creating a record that does not match active pre-filters and when the user clicks SHOW: make sure to open a Zoom screen and show all Records that match the Search query, including the one previously hidden behind a pre-filter.

We want to have the data from our application sync based on an external system change and automate a process flow that is actually manual in SF.Do you know if this can be possible with webhooks? Run import data in backgroundOn the backlog

The ability to run a task in the background in an endproduct should also be available when importing or exporting data in the various GUI's. I'm importing a table with postalcodes (no default or layout on the table, only a trigger for tracefiels) takes probably an hour for 50.000 rows I'm guessing after waiting for 10 minutes. It would be a great addition when such a job could be placed in the background so the GUI can be used to perform other tasks.

Is it possible to place the action bar vertical, alongside the grid for example?

Use other hotkeys for Add & Delete records (ctrl+ / ctrl -)Open

ProblemWe try to provide our users with as much data on the screen as possible, however since the Compact Mode of the Universal GUI is not compact enough. We advise our users to adjust the zoom level of their browser to 90%, however when they use the popular short key ctrl & -, they get a prompt asking if they want to delete the record they are in. This issue also arises when an end user tries to show something on a larger screen with a different resolution (eg. on a large tv screen for a presentation)SolutionSo since ctrl & - and ctrl & + are popular short key, do not use them as “thinkwise short key”. Instead maybe use ctrl & alt & - or something similar.

Add a cancel button to select model popup when starting the SFOpen

When starting the SF you get a popup to select a branch. However, when starting a new project I just want to press cancel and create a new Model. So please add a cancel button to this popup.
