Http connector Exact online

I’ve maganged to setup the connection to the Exact Online API from postman.Now I try to setup the connection from the SF but we running into an invalid_request error as a result.I’ve used the same input variables and keys, so at the moment I’ve not a clue why this result is happening:      Has anybody in the community succesfully connected to the Exact Online API.

Printing labels on Zebra printer

Has anyone dealt with printing labels on a Zebra Printer. With 2 of my clients I have the same issue that I cannot use the full width of the label.The label is automatically scaled to about 70% of it’s label size.And whatever setting I do, I just does not use the full width of the label.I have created reports in as well Dev Express as SSRS and both have the same problem. With DevExpress If I print my label on a HP Laserjet on A4, the label size is correct. If I print it to the Zebra printer the label is scaled to about 70%.I have contacted Zebra and they told me that the paper size of the label is not correct, but I setup the paper size of the label correctly in Dev Express and in the printer driver itself (I’m getting a bit nuts of this)The label size is 105 x 83. I already tried to change every single parameter step by step, but the label is still scaled to about 70%. The last attempt was a bit bigger but still 3-4 centimers of the label is not used. Preview in DevExpressPage setup i

Multi line in gridCompleted

For several purposes it can be wishful to to have a multi-line field in the grid. It can save space on your forms if you can see the full text of a memo field at once in the grid.At this moment only one line is displayed and it can not be line-wrapped.So I would suggest to create this feature.

Error the index ligt buiten de matrix grenzen

Hi all, Does anyone has a clue how to solve this message.The index ligt buiten de matrix grenzen. It happens when I try to open a detail list contact person on the relations subject. Don’t remember we changed something there.It occurs direct when pressing the detail tab contact person. It’s a detail what worked for ever? Continous barcode scanning with Android device in universal

Has anyone figured out how to implement barcode scanning in the Universal GUI. At this moment when I scan a barcode in a TEXT field the GUI does not perform an ENTER. So the value is Shown in the field but, the value is not processed by the default because the GUI does not handle the scanning action of the terminal as an entered value. (I already tried different settings on the scanner like HEX suffix 0X0A (Which is the equivalent of ENTER) But the universal GUI seems to ignore this suffix. So the result is that the value is shown in the field and the user always need to do something on the screen. We need to scan a barcode, process it’s value in a default, moves the cursor to another field or the same field. For example, scan a product barcode, scan a location, scan a product barcode, scan a location. A created a test form with only 2 fields and want the default to handle the scanned value and moves the cursor to the following ‘to-be-scanned’ field. Someone has ideas??? declare @msg v

Report path SRSS is looking in local profile and not the correct path as registered in the report

Has anyone implemented integration with whatsapp messages somehow?

We would to be able to send whatsapp messages from the application to users, in this case employees. Has anyone done this with the SF? Pleas let me know.

Create dashboard with large tiles and show, data, graphs and Gauges on themOpen

In terms of user interface it would be great if a user could start (or pull-up) a dashboard with a bunch of tiles on them. These tiles can be formatted as: Data, graphs or Gauges. With such a dashboard you can show the user the higlights to work on. By clicking on a tile you can see the underlying data or you can pull-up as more detailed dashbaord

ftp connection attempt returns -2

I have created a ftp connection with a very bacic ftp side. There is no ssl, no tls, no nothing, only address, username and password. Directly from the server we can connect with filezilla. From the TW ftp connector we cannot connect. I checked the ftp site and the credentials thoroughly end those are 100%  correct. When we connect from the server we run into a message “This server does not support ftp over tls” “Your password and files will be sint in clear over the internet” So we have to click away this message. Could this message be the bottleneck for the TW ftp connecter giving the STATUS -2.  Our system engineers ask if we can use the option “command-line override” for this ftp connection. Is this possible. What else can I do? Thanks anyone for answering.

Create Ical item from data to send by emailClosed

We have a wish to send an ical (calender item) file to an extern email address. If we can create an ical file we can easily invite people to appointments without switching to outlook. The ical format is pretty standardized and the most used calenders can work with this.

Universal Session Time Out parameter

Can’t we have a setting in IAM on user level where we can setup the Universal session Time Out for a user. There are user groups, like engineers, warehouse people, (truck) drivers who are not using an application all day long but only a few times per day. They need to login again and open their windows (Documents) and filters which they had open when they left the device. These people are not office workers but need to do some actions in an application during the day. It’s a horror for them if they need to re-open al the windows and setting the filters they had opened in the morning.

Barcode controle does not work. A scrolling wheel shows up

Hi there, I try to setup a field for barcode scanning. So I setup this field with the barcode controle, but nevertheless in the Universal GUI in this field I’m not able to activate my camera.The little barcode what normally should be showing up is not visible and in stead of that I’m getting a scrolling wheel.In the post above there is mentioned that barcode scanning works with the plugin of phonegap and a reference to a github address.OK…. and then?It would be nice if a little discription is given what we should do with this information. Do we need to install this? How? where?Please let me now how to fix this? Thanks

Read and write pre-filter settingsClosed

We would like to add a possibility to be able to read the pre-filter setting (on/off) for the prefilters from the templates and would like to be able to set the prefilters on and of from the templates. With this possibility you're able to write a filter setting in a record with a task and you can directly turn the filter on or off depening on the task you run.

Send push message to App

Does anyone know if it’s possible to send a push notification to a mobile user.  F.e. to notice an employee that there is a change in his planning. I’m not talking about a badge in the app but about a notification in the message center of a mobile phone.

Errors in Universal

Does anyone know how why these errors are occuring. This is happening when we try to reach the universal GUI from outside the internal network, so from internet. The application is running completely normal when we run it from the internal network or directly on the server.There are no errors in the Indicium log. The Universal GUI is the 2021.1.15.

End application is printing an SSRS Report 10 times smaller than from the SSRS Report builder

Hi there, I’ve created a label report in SSRS to print on a Zebra printer. When I run the report from SSRS the label is printed Ok. When I save the report in the SF and I run the report from the End Application (via the SF) the label is printed 10 times smaller then when I run it from SSRS report builder itself. What can I do about this??? See photo. The first label is from the SF. The 2nd one is from the SSRS report builder

TsfReportMailer returns value cannot be null (parameter name: address)

I try to send an email via the TsfReport mailer using a smtp connection. This connection does not require a username and a password so I left those entries empty. All other parameters I have created and filled with a value. However the task keeps giving the error: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: address.  I checked the documentation and I even added the parameter e_mail and the parameter email. (At the smtp section it is ‘email’ in the top section it is e_mail?? I also added the smtp_host variable. I have given all the variables a default value, so there is no code involved.  Could security be an issue? Lookups don't work in universal

I don’t know why but (suddenly) the lookups are not working anymore in Universal.I tried everything possible. (I upgraded to all new versions 2021.2.11) I regenerated the software, there are no errors. In the windows GUI it works correctly, but in the Universal GUI I see the ID’s in stead of the lookup fields. This is the Universal windows And this is the WIndows GUI screenIn the browser debug screen I see this. The Indicium log is empty however I see every 30 seconds an error coming up. Developer menu in windows UI not visible

Hi all, We’ve setup a new project and as far I can see all parameters are likely the same. However when starting the end application via the SF (we’re just started development) the developer menu is bar is not visible. I just copied the INI file of another application and only changed the DB name. Our new application does not show the developer menu. The application where I copied the INI file from does show the developer menu? The line executionmode = developer is in both INI’s   Where else do we need to check something??

Write to fileshare

We have the requirement that a user should be able to  write a flat csv file to a fileshare. This file is created in a task-script. Because of security reasons the xp_cmdshell is turned off for ‘normal’ users. We can’t turn this on from a sql script with the command EXEC sp_configure 'xp_cmdshell', 1; We had the idea to turn the xp_cmdshell on just before writing the file to the file share and directly after the file has been written we turn the xp_cmdshell off again. The file is a csv file used for import in a financial system.  What should be an alternative without giving anyone the xp_cmdshell rights in de SQL DB?

Invoice recognition systems

Has anyone experience with purchase invoice recognition systems with a working interface with the TW application and Exact Online. We want to create a 3 way matching with the purchase order lines in the TW application and the invoices in the Invoice recognition system. Has anyone created something like this? Or does anyone know where it has been implemented?Thanks

Choose printer in task?

I read the topic how to create a new printer.  That post helped me a lot to print a shipment document to a dedicated printer. But guess what … We have another site where we need to print shipment documents on another  dedicated printer on that site. What’s the best way do do that.. I could create another report pointing to the same report definition and the only thing that changes is the printer. Or is it possible to create a report parameter where you can let the user choose the printer and by calling the report this printer is send to the report. So can I overwrite a report property (the printer) with a report parameter value. In that case I should create a table or a domain with printers to let the user choose in a drop down.  (And why is the field related topics filled with ‘Introduction to Machine Learning Services on SQL Server? Will the machine decide it self which printer to use, that would be awsome :-)   I can’t change that)

Dynamic user filter used on opened tabs for the same subject

We have the following requirement: We would be able to let the user set a use filter for f.e. an ordernumber. The user can open the orders tab/document and set the filter. The filter data is stored in an employee_filter record in the application The next step is to let the user open a new  tab/document - also orders - and the user set the filter to another order_number so he’s able to work on 2 different orders in one moment.  So the 2nd should not affect the first opened tab.  The problem is when setting the filter for the 2nd opened tab, de data on the 1st opened tab is changed conform the new filter when pressing F5 (refresh)  We store the filter data in the application database per user.. A pre filter on the orders subject takes care of selecting the data based on the user filter as set in the application. At this moment we have 1 employee_filter record with user filter data. We could create more but the problem is that we are not able to assign a specific filter record to a specif

Line wrap in list view

Does anyone know if it’s possible to design a list view with for example a row height of 120 pixels where the memo fields in that list are line wrapped.I now see only one line furthermore only the first part of that line.With an alt_enter in the memo field I also don’t see the next line, even if the first text is really small.
