Chrome & Edge block document preview in Universal GUI

Running GUI version 2023.1.17.1.0, when trying to view a PDF file in the preview component I get the error ‘This page has been blocked by Chrome / Microsoft Edge’:It does however seem to work using Firefox, which means there is something going wrong with Chromium browsers. Might it have something to do with the following? BREAKING: Chromium browsers no longer support http://Some of Indicium's authentication features, such as Single Sign On (SSO) and Single Logout (SLO), require Indicium's authentication cookie to have the samesite=none attribute. Chrome has recently made a change that causes cookies with this attribute to only work when the cookie is secure, meaning that the cookie was requested and received over a secure channel (i.e. https://). Consequently, you can no longer log in over http:// when using Chromium-based browsers such as Chrome and Edge, and this behavior will likely extend to more browsers in the future.We already require usage of https:// in production environment

How to preview image URL in Universal?

I'm trying to show an image from a URL. This works perfectly in the Windows GUI, however in Universal this does not work (see picture below).Resizing the preview component in Universal does not seem to work.If someone knows how to fix this, I'd like to know. How/where to show a variable in application UI that is always visible?

We have the following application where you can choose your relation using a task in the menu: My wish is to show the selected relation somewhere in the UI where this is always visible, so the user always knows the context of what he/she is viewing (the task basically sets prefilters on tables).I’m sure we’re not the first ones to stumble upon this. Is there currently any way to do this?I could think of future possible solutions on where to show a ‘global’ variable:Set Breadcrum everywhere to a fixed variable. Show a variable in the top (blue) banner to the left of the username. Be able to change the username using a variable. Be able to change the task name using a variable. Or, not only for tasks, be able to assign functionality to a menu (item).

Renaming table is not case sensitiveOn the backlog

See screenshots and title, a very simple rename where you want to remove a capital letter in the SF.This is very small but annoying bug since this might happen when you accidentally start with a capital letter.You now have to either delete the table and create a new one, or rename it to something different and then rename it back to the original name without the capital letter.

We need way more Universal Theme options in the SFOpen

Universal made its introduction a while back and it feels like the theme options in the SF have been forgotten. Universal themes lacks almost all theme options compared to the classic theme type.In the latest Universal GUI release there was an update on the custom CSS. However there is little to none documentation on this. Of course it is preferred that these changes are done via the SF instead of an CSS file.

Record in table stays selected, resulting in multiple executions

Let’s say I plan work for a mechanic (by dragging and dropping), then deleting that mechanic from the planned mechanics. See screenshot below. This seems to work fine.But when planning the exact same work for the exact same mechanic (again by dragging and dropping like before), the GUI seems to also somehow keep the old selection, which results in multiple executions:Of course this is not what I want to happen. I don’t want to add it multiple times, only once. But I am unable to find a fix for this. Does anyone know how to resolve this? Is it possible to hide the column header of a table?

Is it possible to hide the header that shows the column names of a table? In this case I’d only like to show the data:I expect the answer to be no since I couldn’t find the option under Screen Types.

IAM - Is it possible to set the user configuration on user group level?

Is it possible to set the user Configuration on a user group level instead of per-user?https://docs.thinkwisesoftware.com/docs/iam/users#configure-user-preferences Select a Configuration or create a new configuration using the pop-up. Available configurations are: None - No user preferences are stored and the user preferences ribbon is hidden. Resize - Users can collapse and expand their menu and ribbon. Furthermore, they can change the sort sequence and column width in a grid view. Move - Resize plus the option to configure their own start objects and set the sort sequence of all subjects. OnOff - All options except for changing screen types. Complete - All user preferences options are available to the user. As far as I understand setting this to complete also enables the user to change screen types and save user-defined-prefilters. I couldn’t find an option to set this on a user group.

Support for .webm files on Thinkwise CommunityOpen

To be able to easily share things you’ve made or explain what is going wrong on the community it is handy to be able to upload screengrabs.This is currently done by uploading still screenshots or gifs. Gif files are very limited in length due to the file size and low picture quality.It would be great if we could get support for webm files.

Switch - Domain UI control support in UniversalOpen

To make certain forms more user-friendly, I’d like to be able to use the well-known ‘switch’ as a control.It would behave exactly the same as a checkbox, just have different visuals (and be placed on the right instead of the left of the label).You can find examples in your Android or IOS system settings, where the switches show on certain settings on the right side. Ability to set/show application-wide/global variable in Universal GUIOpen

This idea is based on the following question: It would be great to be able to set an application-wide variable. In my case I’d like to show the relation the user has chosen in a menu task so that the user can always check in what context screens are opened. This means you should be able to set this variable per-user/session. SVG's with subicon won't change color via CSS

My treeview menu currently looks like this: https://i.imgur.com/AG7hmRh.pngYou can see that icons with a subicon do not change color. Is it possible to show (2) multiple/different preview components - Universal GUI

Currently Universal seems to preview only the first preview-able column in the table (the PDF in the screenshot below) and just shows this column twice. There is a second column (right under this pdf column) that holds an URL that should be previewed as well. Current behaviour of the preview component in UniversalWhy does Universal show the same column twice and not look for a second preview-able column in a table? Is there a way to preview both an URL and a PDF?

Be able to scroll horizontally using a scrollwheelOpen

This would be a great QOL improvement for the SF.You’re able to use the scrollwheel on a mouse (or double-fingers on a touchpad) to scroll vertically.But in a lot of windows you need to scroll horizontally, which doesn’t seem to support scrolling using the scrollwheel on a mouse (or double-fingers on a touchpad). Right now you need to click the arrows or slide the horizontal scrollbar manually.

Automatically disable Program Object(s) when deleting handler Control ProcedureMerged

I think it would be good to automatically disable program objects when removing/deleting a handler control procedure. Or at least automatically disable them when no (0) templates are assigned.My situationI thought using a handler was a good option, but during the process I decided this was not the best option. So I deleted the Control Procedure (which includes the template). I thought this was all I had to do to undo the handler that I created.Unfortunately this resulted in errors:[ERR] An unhandled exception occurred while processing the request. (ffba027a)System.Exception: The identity value should be set by the api_call_settings handler.I also noticed that the SF kept creating the a Stored Procedure on the database.Only when I re-created a handler and disabled the Program Object, the error was gone.

Make process action 'Refresh Table' work when using 'Start Task'Open

Currently you need a ‘Start Table Task’ to make the process flow ‘Refresh Table’ action to work, even though you already specify the table that you want to refresh. See screenshot below:Currently, when you start your process with a ‘Start Task’, the ‘Refresh Table’ action will break and stop the process (and not refresh): I assume the Universal GUI ‘knows’ what tables are currently opened or actively viewed by the user. To me it would make sense that when you don’t start with a ‘Start Table Task’ but instead use a ‘Start Task’, that the GUI would understand that you want to refresh the actively opened screen/table, since you already specified this in the ‘Refresh Table’ process action.

What does the accent color in the Universal theme change?

Hi!I was wondering where the accent color in the universal theme gets applied. I am unable to find the color set as the accent color in the Universal GUI. I'm only able to see the red main color.Unfortunately the documentation does not give any examples.The accent color is set as Lime.The main color is very present and can be found in many places.
