Hi, I’ve created a new Azure Storage. In IAM I’ve set the Storage name + KEY as credentials. They appear bold - I assume due to that they differ from the runtime config version from SF -. When I upload a file in my form (web gui); It shows no error and the path in the db is correct (https://NAME.file.core.windows.net:443/ff-uploads/)But, there is no filename and it is not uploaded to the file storage. It’s in limbo sort of. What is causing this? And how to fix this.
Hi, Currently the Universal Scheduler can only display per day or week. It would be great if there was an extra zoom level. I want to set tasks for a day. So, a morning task, and an afternoon task for instance. In the currently layout, this will just be stacked per day; 2 jobs on the 5th.However, I want something like: Outlook sample - Can this be considered?
I am experimenting with multitenancy options. Currently I have a user table, and here a Tenant is set. When that user opens a table, a mandatory prefilter filters on Accounts with a matching tenant_id. This way, the user will only his accounts. Works ok. When this users Adds a new account, I need to save the users tenant, in the account record. I added a field with Default Value type: Expression - and then the expression is; select dbo.get_tenant() So far, still good. but, now I need to add this expression in all tables/columns where I need this. So I thought of making a Domain, with an expression set there. Feels more efficient. However, it doesn't show a thing! Here I have create 4 columns. Default value in column Constant value in domain (dbo.get_tenant ) Expression value in domain (dbo.get_tenant) (which copies to column values) Expression/query in domain (‘text’) Calculated field; expression in table Domain with expressions - which shows blank in the form. Sync Azure dev board with SFOn the backlog
If I am correct, it is currently not possible to synchronize taks/stories/bug/etc from the Azure dev board to the 'Specification’ (Features/iterations/..) in the SF Our Product Owners and all involved do not work in the SF. Therefor, if we can sync the sprints and the tasks in the sprint, we could monitor progress better. Since this is currently not synced, we do use the 'Specification’ menu, and that is a shame. To sync PO/testers/and bug reporting with development, this might come in handy.
Hi,I was playing with the Upcycler. In general things went ok, but I have 2 questions. 5 files failed with importing the data. Is it possible to only run these 5 files again, by removing the successful files from the folder, of might that conflict with things? Or do all the files need be run in 1 batch (and thus removing the data from the db for a new run)? And what would be the advice in fixing these issues? e.g.; A table name is ‘INDEX’ , so sql doesn’t accept it. What stage of the upcycling would be best to change this? Also, the encoding of the data files .json was selected by the Upcycler, but when importing it was not the correct Encoding. I selected the utf-8-bom for importing and then it worked. Is this something that I could have seen in advance? Thanks!
Hi, is this possible, and if so, how can I achieve this. I have a table, with a task. This task must open a popup with a grid view of another table, here I select a row, click ‘ok’, show all records underlying in this selected Row, do some selections (maybe all, maybe some), click ‘go’, do some Code on the selected Rows. Main thing is the popup with all the grid rows.
conditional formatting against a subroutineNeeds feedback
Often we validate a field through a def procedure. I usually show an error message. However, a message is quite intrusive, so I want to show a different background/font color for this field. It would be nice if I can create a subroutine ‘validate iban number’ or - in my case - 'validate container number’. This subroutine will output a 1 or 0 (valid or not), and in the Conditional formatting, I can then select 'type of value’ = subroutine, and then select the corresponding one.If value = 0 - not valid, set the font to red. Not sure of my train of thought is entirely correct, but you get the gist of it. This way I can reuse the validation and easily show my user that values are not correct.
Hi, I have a table ‘contract’. I have a table ‘charges’. I’ve created a connecting table ‘contract_charges’I want to enable Drag&Drop so that the user can easily select (multiple) charges, drop them into the connecting table, and there see an overview of all connected charges for that contract. I’ve created views based on the tables. I open ‘contract’, and show both ‘charges’ and the connecting table as detail. The view for ‘Charges’ is a select * from charges cross join contract. When I drag to from ‘charges’ to table ‘contract’, the task works ok. The row shows in ‘contract_charges’ - however, I think it is counter-intuitive to drag to ‘contract’. I want to drop them into the connecting table. When I try to do this, SF automatically sets both parameters to ‘Check for equality’. This is due to the fact that the parameters exist in both tables(?). If I remove contract_id from the view, it won’t show as a detail (; therefore the cross-join). Since the new version the generation process is done by Indicium. However, often this message is displayed; It usually disappears/appears a few times and the generation does not fail, but still, It does not look good to me. What is the cause of this message?Thanks!
Hi, I have a Universal gui with a Scheduler. This works ok, shows all rows correctly, based on a view. I also created an Instead_of_update trigger that should open a message box. The view is filled with a union on three queries; sick leave, holiday leave, and scheduled Activities. With 3 prefilters I can toggles these. This works well. I want this trigger to catch the PK, and update the related tables (not the view). So, no popup, and when I drag an element I get: Request error. The object was not found. You may have insufficient rights or the object no longer exists. in the Dev-tools I get: POST https://--------------.com/indicium/iam/42/vw_planner(calculated_start=2022-02-16T00%3A00%3A00.000Z,calculated_end=2022-02-17T01%3A00%3A00.000Z,display_name='holiday')/stage_edit 404and [Violation] 'load' handler took 152msAny thoughts on where to begin to get his debugged? Hi, When in webview (only webview!) , in a grid with a lot of columns, it left aligns the grid on the selected columns. How do I turn this off? I want my grid to be aligned outer left, always. My co-worker did this a while ago, so I it must be possible. However, I can’t find. I guess it must be set up in Subjects.
Hi all,I currently have the following set-up, which is just not working great. It's slow, complex, and it needs a kick every day to get going. The current set-up. Task on 'origin’-table does an insert on the rpt_queue (table). Thinkwise reporting service picks this up, generates the PDF and places this in an output-folder NOTE: the .rdl file is not withing SF, but from a repo (so an outside party can create the rdl files!) Our home-made Service polls the output-folder. If a file is found, it is uploaded to our Azure File storage. It's final location is given back to the rpt_queue and 'origin’ table, so the file_previewer can display the file. Upside = it's what I needDownside = it's slow and never works well What I now want to try is this; Create the PDF through a task (with the .rdl from the repo) Save the directly to Azure file storage Get the final uri from the file and show in the File PreviewerAnd - this all must be faster than ..say… 10 seconds max? Perhaps my train of thought is off, so perhaps I need a completely different approach… but for now Hi,With the dynamic model i've written a script that creates a task 'delete_row’. I want this task to 'delete’ the row by updating the row column ‘is_deleted’ from 0 to 1. With a hidden prefilter I filter these deleted-values out. This preserves the records, and makes them easier to restore than a true deleted record from a sql system version table. I want to show this task 'Delete row’ on all tables, instead of the SF native delete button. So far, ok. However, I can't grasp on how to set the [table]_id parameter. Do I need to create X parameter, one per table? Or can this also be done dynamically? Something like @[table_id] instead of @account_idWith the Sf native delete button, a record is removed from the table, and only available in the history table. I have used this but these history views are not available in other ways currently. If you delete an 'account’ you cannot see this row
Hi, I have set up an Indicium and a Universal GUI. I want this to start directly against SF. I can login and run the model, but on all screens, in all projects I get no data and it says 'Unknown Error’. Why? And where can I debug this? I can't remember it well, but I have a feeling it did work last week for a day. I can't make sense from the indicium log… Are there any other logs to check on this?
So, we have a task to create an invoice. This is a process flow, first we check all values such as Debtor code, vat code etc. If not ok, these must be set and then the invoice can be made. If all is ok from the start, the invoice is made. BUT, not all people clicking the Create Invoice, cannot add certain values on the account - like discount, vat code, debtor code. So, what I kinda what I a ‘You have insufficient rights for this… EXIT.” Is there a way to detect and show such a message? kind regardsalex
What options do I have to control a combo-box (or what are my other options?) I have a Purchasing system, and every step the invoice gets a new status. However, in certain situations, the superuser can change the status back/forth. However, still with limitations. So, I have these statuses; But -e.g.- when the invoice is already Interfaced, I want to disable certain options.Can I ‘grey out’ certain options (Elements in my domain)? Or can I in some other way build a Combo-box with values build with code? If status = x → show options 1,2,3. Etc. Any tips regarding this matter?
Hi,I have a task that generates an invoice. Before I checked in the sql code some values, and showed an error if a certain value was missing and stopped the code. When this first value was corrected, it could break on the next mandatory value. And so on.. not very user friendly… To improve on this, i've done the following. Process flow is triggered by a dummy task. → a Decision checks if all mandatory values are okido (name, vat, billing address, debtor code). → if not ok, show relevant (ie; say what is missing) message. / if ok., execute task to generate invoice.In general, this is ok; However, if 1 or more values are missing, I want to show 1 message. Example. Scenario 1: message; “Debtor code, vat code, and billing address are missing. “Scenario 2: message; "Debtor code is missing.”Now, I have a process flow that, based on the outcome in the decision, shows a message. When merging, the fields are fairly small. this way I always need to click to click the lookup and select correct branch. Make this wider, so i can read the whole field. Also, perhaps when a branch is selected, auto fill the branch current project… with the latest version of the branch. Rarely one merges an older version?
Hi,as far as I can see now, it’s not possible to have any control over the Badge value. Is this correct? For instance, i show total number of items. But when I turn on my prefilter ‘sold items’, I want the badge_value to show the total value that matches with the corresponding prefilter. Am I missing a thing, or is there a way to get this done?
