What is the purpose of being able to enable/disable process actions in a role? The reason asking is that when one action is not enabled, the whole process flow is not granted and therefor not working.Here an example situation:Example of a simple process flowThere is a table task on several screens which all execute the same type of action and flow to opening a report. For management it is easy to have all entries in the same flow.In a role only one or limited screens need to be available to the user, so only those parts of the flow need to be accessible I would think. Lets say the first line in the example and not the Pink and Green marked ones.Another consequence is when you are developing and adding a new screen with the same task and you add it to the flow. Let say the Green marked one. Now in all role that have this flow, the functionality is broken, because there is a new action available even though that would not touch anything in the old roles. How do I set the number of copies in a process flow which calls a report. I added the gui_rpt_number_of_copies parameter. I give it a value in the default of the task which triggers the process flow. I added a parameter gui_rpt_number_of_copies in the process flow. The parameter gets its value, but in the report step the parameter is set to 1.
hi,Some of our customers find it difficult to use the small buttons in the Windows GUI. We have some large grids shown on large screens where the users have to look for the relatively tiny buttons in the upper left corner. Is there an option to enlarge the buttons add inline button label something else to make it easier to choose a specific taskOr else providing some prescription glasses with each license :-)
Simular to this users experenience but not quite:When using GridEditUpdateUsingRefreshOption yes, we found it was only working on windows gui against the SF not against IAM. When i added GridEditUpdateUsingRefreshOption to the global runtime configurations in IAM it was working in all of our DTAP enviroments. But when trying to figure out why it works, what overrules what. I tried seeing if an application extended property could overrule the global runtime config, and in doing so, GridEditUpdateUsingRefreshOption stopped working. I tried the task resetting extended properties, deleting GridEditUpdateUsingRefreshOption in the application, and adding it again, i tried deleting and adding GridEditUpdateUsingRefreshOption to the global configuration, i tried closing and reopening my gui after every step. I have tried application pool recycling and restarting indicium. Whatever i tried, in our Acceptance the GridEditUpdateUsingRefreshOption is no longer working. In the windows gui against d

hi,We use a view in a detail tab where we combine two tables, a record can be added in the row. We use an instead of trigger to insert the records in het underlying tables. After adding the record, the message “saved data can not be displayed on this screen”, but surprise, the new record is shown! Because of the two tables, two primary keys are added in this view, can this be the problem? Should I create a dummy primary key for this view?Anybody an idea how to fix this?
Is there a way to make a column “primary key” even when the table already existed with no primary keys at all? There are things you have to consider, right? All the already existing data needs to be formatted to this new primary key, so it can’t be null So how do you alter this data? Do you have to manually do this in data conversion or SSMS?

Inside the cube I would like to filter from time to time to only see records that I'm interested in. I can use the short-key Ctrl+R and the Filter option is available through the Top-bar, but the option to filter is not available when I right-click inside the cube. I would like to see Filter (and search) clickable through this menu.

In this topic it was suggested to make the DEVELOP branch unprotected. I’ve deleted all branches that has DEVELOP as origin, but it is still protected and I can not “un-protect” it. Please advice.NVM. I found out once I’ve deleted all branches, I can set the checkbox Protected manually.
Hi all,I'm working on building a screen type with a lot of information on the screen in the form of tables (5) and a form (1). During the design phase, it was determined that the page is vertically oriented and that users should be able to scroll through it at the page level (not at the table level). We assumed that the vertical scrollbar would automatically be added when you put 'too many elements' on the page, but this is not the case, and that's where my problem lies. I would like to have the scrollbar, but I'm not sure how, and I've already tried several things. Can someone point me in the right direction? I’ve added a sketch for clarity.ps. Charts are based on library Fusion Charts and it allows for defining additional attributes → https://www.fusioncharts.com/dev/chart-attributes/ Now they can be added to the overarching config.json, but you really want them per chart view, as it this moment all attributes will count for all line diagrams for example. Would be great if additional parameters could be defined per chart view. As a result of this topic:
Hi, based on an old question drag and drop options with keyboard shortcuts:How wonderful it would be if we can enhance the current drag and drop feature, with some configurable parameters? Now you can only link 1 task with the dnd action, but with some extra keys you can link unlimited tasks.Like in Windows when you copy files with CTRL+drag and move with SHIFT+drag or create a shortcut with ALT+dragFor example, we want to use this in an inventory list, when dragging items with CTRL gives a popup with parameters to fill, and normal dragging will skip the popup and use defaults.So until AI already knows what the task should be, and there’s no need of shortcuts, we can use this feature to make the customers happy :-)
It would be nice, and could save a lot of time if it was possible to specify a few things in the model settings ( else it costs a lot of time clicking, or things become dirty if you forget ), and user preferences might be different;Default filter visibility for domains ( I would say Never ). Default search visibility for domains ( I would say Never ). Default column type for views ( both at model and domain level, read only except ... ) Default column type for tables ( both at model and domain level, editable except ... ).I experience the current defaults as unsafe, as things you don’t want to show, show while you did not explicitly say that you want them to. If I want something to show, I have to go there and change the field order anyway, it could save a lot of time if I would not have to go to screens where I don’t want things to show. ( I can update the domain settings with an update on the SF database, but it would be nice to have a number of additional settings at model level ).
I'd like to be able to perform a Code search in the SF using multiple search strings, instead of the one string we currently provide. I think that it would be good to have a switch to put the Universal web interface in maintenance mode, and even better to be able to show messages to users that this is going to happen.
When using reports in Universal with the report action "Print preview" the browser sometimes blocks the print preview pop-up. Chrome by default blocks pop-ups and redirects. It would be nice if there is a way to setup Universal to detect and notify the user when they have pop-ups blocked in their browser.

I've updated my SSMS to the newest version and uninstalled the previous version.Whenever I edit a template in the external editor by pressing on the little pencil in the SF (Functionality screen) it now tried to start an even older version of SSMS which I didn't even know was still installed :pI uninstalled that ancient SSMS as wel hopin that the SF would pick up mu new SSMS but now it wants to use mySQL workbench 😁Can I help SF to find the correct editor?

We try to set up a drag-drop scenario within the Universal GUI.The main goal is to place outstanding orders in the planning (scheduler) with a drag & drop task from a detail table.Because drag-drop from card lists is not yet available, we make use of a grid with a multiline HTML field as only visible field as source table.
