Access Token MS Graph

Hi, I am looking for an option to retrieve an access token for MS Graph.In the SF I have defined an OAuth server connection and I log into the SF app using a Microsoft Account.The Oauth user login process action has an output variable "Access token” but even if I'm connected with MS account, i get a redirect to log in again. Is there any option for me to use or generate an access token when i’m connected with Microsoft without having any redirectons or pop-ups and also get it for later usage? Also, the "OAuth server login connector” provides with a token that I cannot use since it does not have delegated permissions. Kind regards,Paul

Appending a file via a write file connector not working

I’m trying to append to an existing file via a ‘Write file connector’, however a new file with a timestamp is created.The file name in the write file connector is a relative path within the storage location.Like so:This should result in ‘\CICD_MAIN_RELEASE\9.08.4\Deploy\Install\965_Base_data.sql’. The ‘Write file connector’ looks like this: Is the write mode ‘Append file’ not working correctly?

We have 2 undocumented extended properties in our projects (https://docs.thinkwisesoftware.com/docs/sf/extended_properties#introduction-to-extended-properties):processflowcontext; value: TopDown (we have runtime configuration with breadth_first too) switchfilecontrolbehaviour value: trueThese properties have been added to the Software Factory in late 2016. Who can tell us a bit more about these properties? And can we delete them without consequences?

Date format keeps showing UK format

I am a developer that works in a small team. Currently my language is set to Dutch, and it's the same for all other team members. when I open our application, and we look at the same grid, whenever a date is displayed, their UI shows the date in dutch format (d-M-yyyy) and mine shows it with a UK format (M/d/yyyy).This is afaik using the universal UI in a browser. the user settings seem to be the same for all users and I have tried several things already: change-save-reset-save and the refresh of the model in between. changing it in the IAM back and forth refreshing the browser, setting it to not translate anything, ctrl-f5, etc (this is chrome)Where am I supposed to look for a place where I can set the date format correctly all through the application?

Process flow present in database but not on UI

Hello!Recently we started to replace some Http Connectors to Web Connection, for that we checked in database to see which process flows have it.We discovered that for a process flow which is present in database, it does not display on the Software Factory UI, we are not sure how that happened, but it happened somehow.If we try to add one with that name, we get obviously an error that the name is already taken.Do you have any idea how to bring it back to the UI or how it happened? We might need to take a closer look into it to see it's importance, but until then will be nice to know what is going on.Thanks!

Start process flow with an API trigger call

Hello! We want to start a process flow (see image below - process flow A) with an API trigger.Process flow A For triggering it, we used another process flow with a web connection and a simple table task to start the process (see image below - process flow B). Process flow B We have managed to make it work in Postman, giving us an OK 200 status. However, in the universal gui, the flow exits with a -1 error code (see image below for the live error log). Both authentication methods are exactly the same between our web connection and Postman. Any ideas about what we might be missing?

Copy base model into work model (without linking)

Hello,I am wondering if it is possible to copy a base model into an existing work model without linking the base model. I have some use cases in which I want to copy parts of a model into another work model and from there customize the base model to the requirements for that specific work model. If I would do such a thing with a base model link, I would have to change the base model and this would impact all of the work models to which the base model is linked.I tried this with exporting the base model and importing it in the work model, but then it has no shared origin branch and I am not able to merge the models.The only thing I did not try yet is to branch the base model, customize it to a specific work model and then link this branch from the base model to the work model?Best regards,Nick Janssen

Batch update in grid - selected rows / all rows

In Windows GUI you can do an upgrade for selection / all rows in grid / all rows, in Universal GUI this option is not available. So, a user has to perform this action for each pageBy the way, looking at the translation: all rows in the table suggest all rows in the DB, but it is actually all rows within context / selection. Our DB has > 200k rows for this table.

model_version vs version_name vs branch

Hi,Since this summer we work with the new model/branch process. We deployed our products always with a modelversion, like 1.140. Now we state this versioning in the new ‘version_name’ in de model settings. When I synchronize this to IAM, I see an option to sync as a different branch, but we can update the MAIN branch. So in IAM the model/branch looks like this. Can’t see the actual version_name here? When I create a deployment package, I check the version name:I use this package in a customer environment, I get the version name as Branch: Why is the branch replaced by the version name of the model? Why is this different from syncing to IAM?

Drag drop task 'action not allowed'

Hello everyone! In our software we have the ability to plan work orders. This is done via a drag drop action and a task. The following happens if I try to do such an action: It immediately gives me a 403 forbidden error. I don't get why because:I am (obviously) logged in I have set all rights to the correct role Even without the rights and roles simulation active this happens The last given error was the following:I have no clue what could be happening, as it is very unclear. What could potentially be the cause of this sudden 403 error? Just a while ago I could plan work orders via the drag and drop functionality, now I am not allowed to do so.

Usage of Local Time

We, as shipping company, have users which have to log their vessel activities. Our vessels cross the sea and travel all over the world, meaning they travel through different timezones. All our datetime fields are being logged in UTC time, however it would be easier for our users to log in Local Time based on the selected port. Lets say, the Captain of the Vessel wants to log their Departure in port “Taicang”. Now the Captain needs to calculate the time in UTC before being able to log their activity. It would be much easier for them to log in Local Time, so that we calculate the UTC time for them. We also have “Planners” who would like to communicate with Local Time towards the Captains. In short, we would like to make use of Local Time in a lot of places within our application. While doing research I found the following methods to calculate from/and to Local Time. IAM - OpenID Providers roles claim is sometimes missing.

I have set up an OpenID provider in IAM, allowing users to log in to the application via SSO. Now, I want to link user groups to this role using the 'roles' claim.I am facing an issue, and I think it might be related to the number of roles assigned to a user, as in some cases, there are quite a lot of them, but it could also be something else. For some users, I see a long list of roles where I could filter by ID to find the correct role, but for other users, I don’t receive any role claim at all, even though these are configured in their Azure AD. Does anyone happen to know what might be causing this?

User Management via end application

Hello, We have a use case in which we want users of our developed end applciation to be able to add new users and manage the access level of those users. We would not like to give those users access to IAM, because there is a possibility we want users from our customers to be able to do this. We know of the IAM API layer which you can use to:Add users to IAM Add a new user group Assign roles to a user groupWe are interested to know how far we can go with this API layer. Can we for example also create a new role in which we can grant access to very specific columns in a table? Or do those roles always have to be predefined in the SF, whereas we can only assign those predefined roles to existing or newly created user groups? Thanks in advance. If the question needs more clarification please let me know.

copy text from grid in Universal GUI

If I select a single property in the grid to copy this, it copies the whole row.So when I paste my text which I selected and copied, it paste all values of that row By the way: if you select text from a multiline field (with word wrap), copy works.

Problems creating an SF read-only role

I’m trying to create a full copy of the ‘software_development’ role for the SF into a new read-only role.Why? Because are support team and business analists want to explore the models built in the SF and may be able to find possible reasons something isn’t working.But we want to have a safety built in that prevents accidental insert/updates/deletes. I want the new role to only have read rights to all SF screens:Tables to read-only Editable column read-only No tasksThe script that I’ve created copies all role rights and changes it to our specific needs. All menu items seem to work fine, however I cant choose or switch a branch.I’ve figured out that a start object opens the ‘check_sf_upgrade_msg’ task and has a process flow that opens the ‘set_branch’ task. I already tried to assign rights to these tasks and the corresponding process flows but now I get an error after opening the SF: Am I missing something?Are there any plans to create a read-only role on the SF in future releases?Our pl
