I am trying to use the http-connector to connect to a website/webshop (http://webshop.coffeefresh.nl). The http connector is returning error code -1. When I do the same request to http://bol.com for instance I receive status code 0 / http 200 OK. I can reach the URL without any problems using a browser or insomnia. Just not with the http connector. What can be the cause of the -1 error code, or, where do I look for the problem?
What causes this error message during startup? Stored procedure 'proc_application_startup' generated an error while deriving the parameters. Information: Parameter 0 - project_id (project_id): An SqlParameter with ParameterName '@project_id' is not contained by this SqlParameterCollection. Parameter 1 - message (message): An SqlParameter with ParameterName '@message' is not contained by this SqlParameterCollection.
I tried to not show database details to end users in the production environment by adding the extended property 'ShowLoginInfo' with a value 'No' to a Runtime Configuration called 'PROD'. In the INI file the setting 'Configuration' with value 'PROD' was also added. Finally it did not work in the Windows GUI. Any ideas, how to solve this?
For developent purposes I like to run the WebGUI over SF. Is it still possible in SF version 2019.1? Are any additional settings needed, compared to 2018.3? Following message appears:
We created a report in Crystal Reports which we want to export to xlsx format and not to xls format. Is this possible? We want to do this because after generating several Excel files using the Thinkwise reporting Service we want to combine them as separate worksheets in one excel file. The component we use for this needs to have xlsx and not xls.
The grid property 'Fields Locked' seems to be ignored in case column groups exist in a grid. Is this a bug or desired behavior?
I know that with the Web GUI we have pages in Lists, capping the amount of rows you see to a certain amount. Now I'm trying to do that too in the Windows GUI for the project I'm working on because we sometimes have a huge list of maybe above 6000 rows. In the Software Factory we can set a limit to how many rows are displayed, and even the page sizes. But it looks like the page size doesn't work for the Windows GUI. How can I introduce list pages in the Windows GUI or is this not possible and can we only set a maximum?
We're still on 2018.2. When i rename a Template, which has been assigned AND has parameters in the assignment, the rename task fails, because it has related parameters. Apparently the task is not working with these. Is this fixed yet in a later version of the SF?
We generate XML files in our system. These files currently can be approached by using a task. We have chosen for a task because we want to log all persons approaching the XML. In this task we see the file name and the option to download this file. After pressing the green download button we have to exit the task by pressing 'uitvoeren'. Is it possible to start the downloading of the document the path is referring to automatically instead of pressing the green download button after we opened the task?
What are the conditions under which the buttons in the remote folder control are available? In my case I have the exact same rights in two different folders, however in one of two folders the remote folder control will let me use the buttons and in one folder it doesn't. I can use the functionality if I first move the folder with the move folder connector in a process flow and then open the location using the remote folder control. Still, the rights are completely the same.
For a process flow which processes both POST and PUT api calls it is necessary to use a variable for the HTTP method. However the HTTP connector produces this error: The process action with id 'http_connector' was provided with the invalid value 'POST' for its 'Http method' parameter. What are the correct values for PUT and POST in case a variable is used?
In our current Graphical User Interface it is not possible to configure task, report and prefilter bars. Meaning that either all objects within the bar are being displayed or non at all. I have been told, that there is an extender, which allow you to configure these bars. I was wondering if the option to configure bars will be introduced within the Universal Graphical User Interface? Instead of having to set up an extender outside the Software Factory.
I want to show a cube and graph for an editable cube, to be able to show the details (tab) of the selected cel in the cube. Is this possible?
A customer has migrated to Windows Server 2016 (64 bit) and now our reports (Crystal Reports) don't start anymore. The error message is: The type initializer for 'CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.ReportDocument' threw an exception The Thinkwise applicatie that the customer is working with has been developed with TSF 2017.1. The version Windows GUI is 2018.1.17. The SAP Crystal Reports runtime engine for .NET framework (64 bit) is 13.0.13.1597. I have two questions: 1. What causes this error? 2. What determines which version of the SAP Crystal Reports runtime enige I should install? Could anyone help me out here?
I'm working on the automated deployment of Indicium via Octopus Deploy. I understand that for the use of Indicium and logging in, it is necessary that the application pool user of indicium has 'all rights' to the IAM and the ActoProject database. Preferably I want to make as little db_owner as possible, so now my question is: what is all the permissions? On IAM I see 16 roles in the SQL database. Can I indicate to which role the Application Pool User of Indicium should be linked? For ActoProject we have a role 'all_rights', I assume that these are the right rights for the Application Pool User. Is that right? Is it also possible to give a short description of the purpose of each role? (But it's probably better to publish it on your website) Greetings, Eric Bosman
One column of my table has the column id 'display_expression_1' and it is giving me an error (Invalid column name 'jaar') in the application when modifying a record. The column description in the SF says: "Automatically created with the upgrade to G9.5. Replacement for look-up display expression." There are other display expression columns in the same table which are not causing an error. The only difference between them is that the former column has no 'Expression dependencies' specified. See comparison of both columns below. I expect that this lack of dependencies is causing the problem, but cannot find a way to add them. Please advise how I can solve this issue. Thanks!
I would like to use the task logic type 'windows command' in combination with powershell to execute the following command: [Environment]::GetFolderPath('MyDocuments'). In powershell this will retrieve the MyDocuments path and it should be passed into an output variable so I can use it in a processflow. Is this possible?
Where in the Theme can the color of the window be changed? I've tried so many fields so far entering the most rediculous colors where "nothing" was the default (I think I have them all). I want to change the color blue to a different blue or even white that matches the corporate color scheme. Perhaps a font has to be changed in the theme (with a different background color). I know for a fact that the color can be changed, as I have several projects with a different window color, but I'm stuck finding the right setting..... This particular blue is probably a default window color... Another application has a white top border. That's what I'm trying to achieve in the Theme. In short: where can the top bar (blue in my case) be changed to a different color? I've set every possible field in the Theme to a color (that's not blue) and still the top bar is blue-ish. So I figure, must be a Font with a background color???? Any hints???
I've seen this twice this week now... I receive an e-mail from the community with a link to the subject, but (even after logging on) I'm told I don't have access. This is fine by me, if the question or idea is no longer relevant and might pollutes the community with unnecessary topics. But if that is the case, please stop mailing about changes when the link is no longer available....
Does anybody have a clue what the table "Users" contributes to the SF? I mean, a role can be assigned to a particular user, but what the actual effect is, who knows? The following explanation in the Thinkwise manual doesn't contribute much to my understanding of this particular table: "Provides an overview of the registered users of the Software Factory development environment, including their roles (Analyst, Designer, Developer, Reviewer, Tester). Users are added automatically on first login." It would be great when a certain user is marked as a "Designer" this would effectively result in lesser menu options for that person. But as far as I can tell, what is entered here doesn't effect anything in a users experience when starting the SF. What I'd like to see is additional roles in the SF's IAM that would give users the tools to be a Designer, Tester, Reviewer and so on, and no more. I could try to create roles and groups in IAM that would result in that kind of functionality,
Kinda like the defaults concept, where you have the option to supply default values for a property, except you set the default value for the filter, and this value is used when the data is retrieved from the database. For example a date filter like below. The 'expected arrival' filter should be filtered on a date range. E.g. between 'TODAY' and TODAY+7 days. This gives the end user direct information about the filter that has been used. The default filter on date could be solved with a set of prefiters. Except that the user does not get an indication about the actual date filter that has been used for this filtering, making this a less than ideal situation.
Hi, we use SQL (2017) database mail to send mail directly from our Thinkwise application. Currently we host a Exchange 2010 SP3 on premise but need to upgrade. I would think it is no problem to upgrade to Exchange Online but would like to hear if there is anyone who (our his customer) is already using this combination and if there are any points to keep in mind when upgrading.
In some cases you want to sort a column on the database value instead of the value of the element translation. This will be faster (index) and is sometimes the order you want (e.g. months). I know there was a ini. -parameter once, but I don't want this for all columns. Is it possible to do this for one column? For example based on a domain setting?
Sometimes we want to make a lookup in which you can only pick items that are not already used. Up till now I have been able to come up with three solutions, the first being a view in which the used items are left out, the second being a view in which these items get an 'in-use' flag where a prefilter takes them out of the lookup. Option 1 is not great since it empties the lookup for all saved records Option 2 works much better, but as soon as the user edits the record, the lookup responds by going empty (the selected item is no longer available for selection) Option 3 create a view with a cross join between the source records and the target records, filtered on items that are in use. This allows perfect use with existing records, from them you can pick all available lookup items and keep seeing the selected lookup item. Problem is though that if you create a record the identity is null, now I can make my view include a null value for the key, but then the prefilter checks for
We have a view 'person_look_up' with an instead of trigger (IOT) that inserts records into the view 'relation_address_view' which also has it's own IOT. When executing source code (via a 'Full' upgrade) we get an error because the IOT on the 'person_look_up' is created before the IOT of 'relation_address_view'. I tried changing the 'Generation order no' of the views and the IOT procedures but it didn't change anything. View: relation_address_view: generation_order_no = 100 person_look_up : generation_order_no = 101 IOT procedures: relation_address_view : generation_order_no = 100 person_look_up : generation_order_no = 101 How do we solve this issue?
