The '>' character becomes '>' when editing a description of a topic

Like the title says, can this be a '>' no matter when I'm looking or editing my topic? The '>' confused me in thinking my description wasn't correct.

I think inSided can only change it since it's their product

See our supplier's response.

Yes, indeed, the character '>' gets converted into the html character entity. We "sanitise" the typed content to avoid any unwanted interference or code insertion from users. Our development team is working on a new text editor, which we expect to launch in the coming weeks. This new editor will not have this issue, therefore we will not work on a fix for the current one, as it will become absolute.
