Dear Thinkwise,I succesfully did the upgrade to the newest universal gui 2021.1.10 on my azure web app. I checked if there where some hotfixes for the IAM or the SF fortunaly there where none. I am just trying to add a new record so i am doing a post request and I get an internal server error (500). This is the error that i get: Internal server errorThe get methods works fine.I synced my SF to the IAM this was also succesful and on the windows enviroment connected to the sf or IAM database it works how its supposed to be .I hope u can help me for a solution.Kind regards,Romario

 I’ve got some fields indicating an integer “Quantity”, and they have a min/max value to prevent excessive user input. For example a purchase order line quantity or a stock / inventory quantity.The problem is the following (animated gif):There is not really a restriction on the integer field, in contradiction to the numeric field. If you press and hold “9” for a while it will fill up and when tabbing to the next field it's cleared (unless it's lower than int.maxvalue).If you do the same in a numeric(4,0) field it stops after 4 times 9. In a user point of view this is more friendly: The user knows exactly what the limit is, therefore developing a default / layout concept is not necessary.If you do develop a default for the integer field, it won't be executed when the value is passed int.maxvalue. That is unclear for our users if you want to warn them about the excessive number.Thing is we don't want to bother our end users with a ‘random’ clear of a field value. We could solve this by r

Hi all,I have set up the report generator, which is great. I also have an upload to Azure (developed outside of SF) which updates my Db with an online path to the file in the cloud. All is good. When a client creates a pdf (e.g. an invoice) with a task.The following happens; click task → insert in Table Rpt_queue → file is made. → File is pickup by magic → uploaded to Azure → File path is inserted in an extra column in the rpt_queue. An update trigger fires and send the file back to the source table (e.g. invoices) AND to a table 'Document Pool’. The document pool is where we collect ALL files on this account. Invoices, reports, bills, contract, etc.  Anything generated?  → boom, in the document pool. So, after the task has fired, we use a process flow to open this document pool in a new tab. All good. HOWEVER, due to the time it takes to generate and handle the file, the doc.pool is not updated yet. This takes on avarage 20secs. Is it possible to either delay to process flow with 20se

I can’t figure out what’s going on here, but the tile menu items are indicated as not translated, while they are translated for sure. For the subjects the translations are given correctly..The first screenshot is the menu. The second screenshot is when opening [werk_rapport]. There you see in the top of the figure the translated words ‘werkrapport’ ‘werkrapporten’ ‘alles van datum’ etc. No [ … ] term to see. But on the menu they are all in [...]. We use this menu for about 2 years now so all terms are translated. But after upgrading to the 2020.2 SF I see this behaviour. I tried several things in the application but was not able to fix this. Anyone an idea?   

Has anyone seen this when setting an svg file as Tile image OR as icon. I want to show a SVG icon ina task in a (mobile) Tile menu but then this happens.I have changed all the other icons to SVG and that works fine. (However I did not figure out how to change the color)But when stting an icon on a task the file content is shown in the APP. Not the icon??  

In the blog  “New in Universal (dec 2020): More process flows actions, install as PWA, form column settings and more improvements” Erik mentioned “The form in task and report popups listens to the SF setting for Number of cols in form”. Looks like we’re experiencing some sort of bug, because using Universal 1.8 we only get all the fields in 1 column….Changing the setting to 2 gives an expected result in the Windows GUI, but Universal keeps using only 1 column…When the number is set to 2 it looks like the form starts with 2 columns and then switches back to 1 column (in a split second).I've tested this situation (and experienced the problem) using Edge and Chrome.

I am wondering whether there is a limit to the number of applications per IAM? 

I've noticed the following ‘error’ in the Indicium logs (2021.1.10, but also older versions);2020-12-29T09:11:01.7549972+01:00  [ERR] Unable to execute the AutoML get training options connector. The AutoML service URL is missing.We don't use AutoML and can't remember we've configured or touched something in the SF. Why is it filling the log files with such lines? What can we do to solve this error? I want the log files to be clean.

I created a process flow and have tested this with an initial task. This initial task doesn't have any code attached to it. Starting this process through this task works.Now I want to start this process flow by pressing a key-combination.After updating the model (from within the windows desktop application), this key-combination does not seem to work. Also tried Ctrs-Shift-Alt-H combination with the same result.Is there something else that I should be doing in order to start this process flow?

First time I have need for a deployment after upgrading to 2021.1.During smart generation of the source code, there is a problem with writing Groups to disk. I get the following error-message:The Program objects are written to their usual place (D:\thinkwise\projects\<project-name>\<version>\Source_code\Program_objects.Have already created an issue at tcp.Any ideas that help me continue this deployment are welcome. Want to add at least a new domain and column.

There are multiple connectors that require authentication either bij username-password or apikey. Since these are sensitive data I want these to be encrypted.These values can also change between deployments, as production connections are different than in development.Questions:What are the options to encrypt these data and are the advantages/disadvantages of these methods?What is preferred method with Thinkwise?

Am I correct, to believe that there will be no new version of Indicium (Basic), but use the Indicium (Universal) instead as only Indicium?

When you create a Task and set the vars to hidden, the name of the Task is fixed. When you set the Vars to Read-Only of Editable, you suddenly get … after the name of the task. See, BL… (with var to Read-Only)  And with Hidden var.  This look way nicer and less confusing. I cannot seem to change this. Anyone out there that knows if this can be done?  

Within Conditional layout you can have multiple instances. I get the impression that only one at any time will be chosen, even when one changes the font and another the background. It seems that there is an order in which the conditions are checked and implemented.I'd like to know the order in which the conditional layout are checked, whether the first match terminates further checks, how I may influence the order and how I can combine checks.Also I'd like to know how multiple conditions on a single conditional layout are combined. Do you have to match all conditions, or one of the conditions, or maybe something else.For instance I have two conditional layouts, one for font and another for background with different conditions. How can I combine these without having to implement a combined conditional layout.

I got my environment setup in azure and the universal login screen is approachable from every IP, the way it should work.The problem is when i want to login. From my home network is working just fine i can login and nothing happens. If I login from my work network then I get the message 'A server error occurred’. This also ocurred when a partner from his home try to login with the same user.I hope someone knows why this happens and how to fix this!

Is it possible to set an max number of lines a user can enter in a field? I have some address fields that I want to cap on 8 lines max (or the print pdf won’t look good). I can only find how large the field is (looks) and a max number of chars. But not lines. Anyone? 

On the one hand you can use a triggers control procedure for performing extra actions. On the other hand you can also accomplish this by using process flows.I'm curious to find out reasons for using one over the other. Are the Trigger-procedures old functionality that will be deprecated soon? Or are Trigger-procedures the way to go?When do you use one over the other and why?

12 out of 13 times I click on the ‘data model’-entry under data, that is so that I can get to the table listing.Could an entry for tables be added directly to the data-menu? Or switch the order of tabs, so that when clicking ‘data model’ the tables-tab would be foremost, having diagrams based on those tables behind it (and perhaps only as a detail of those diagrams, the tables that are visible in the diagram).

Pop-up screens (using Universal GUI) show numeric fields straight through the respective labels. This problem occurs when using Chrome and Edge. With mutable fields, the content of the field does become visible when it receives focus (by clicking), but as soon as the focus disappears from the field the number and label shift again. By changing the designation MultiInputLabel to MultiInputLabel-shrink in the HTML code, the problem (for that session) seems to disappear.

I’m busy with migrating our Windows and WebGui to the Universal GUI.Every time I clear my cache (and I have to do this a lot while developing) in Universal I have to change to dark mode again. Is it possible to setup dark mode as default?

I'm experiencing the problem in the Indicium Mobile App (and also in the Simulator) where my default is not updating the GUI when I'm using a tsf_send_message in the SQL.I'm having a task which does a calculation and shows the result in a tekstbox in the task. Based on that number, the user can execute the task.When the user changes the 'Aantal pakketten’, the calculation will be done:However, in the default, (after the calculation), there is a check which calculates if the amount is too high, ig so, it gives a message:When this occurs, then message shows up as expected:However, the numbers which are updated before (the Aantal palletten and Aantal stuks), are not updated anymore:Am I doing something wrong?

When I choose under Deployment, Creation, tab Generate source code and set the checkbox for Write code files to disk on I get the error message: Could not find a part of the path 'S:\Software_fabriek\Applicaties\SQLSERVER_DB\SQLSERVER_DB\Source_code\Groups'.Under project version the value of Project folder specification starts with T:\Software_fabriek\….I get this message since I updated the SF to version 2021.1Do I have to fill in a path somewhere else? Can someone help?

I added a breakpoint on a particular screentype. When I open this subject with the Indicium viewer on the network the breakpoints works well.When I open it on a mobile device on the SF, the breakpoint does not seems to work.In Mobile development we always had to refresh the model. I can’t find an option to refesh a model for the Universal GUI. So I logged out en I logged IN again several times. I emptied the cache but nothing works. Where in TSF, IAM or appsettings is it possible to setup indicium pages displayed native application language (dutch)?For example “user name” to “gebruikersnaam” in <base>/indicium/account/ui/sendPasswordResetToken
