Set number of copies in process flow report

How do I set the number of copies in a process flow which calls a report. I added the gui_rpt_number_of_copies parameter. I give it a value in the default of the task which triggers the process flow. I added a parameter gui_rpt_number_of_copies in the process flow. The parameter gets its value, but in the report step the parameter is set to 1.

Universal Session Time Out parameter

Can’t we have a setting in IAM on user level where we can setup the Universal session Time Out for a user. There are user groups, like engineers, warehouse people, (truck) drivers who are not using an application all day long but only a few times per day. They need to login again and open their windows (Documents) and filters which they had open when they left the device. These people are not office workers but need to do some actions in an application during the day. It’s a horror for them if they need to re-open al the windows and setting the filters they had opened in the morning.

Generate defaults layouts and contexts on adding expression fieldMerged

I want to share an idea for the SF. When creating an expression field you need to generate the default, layout and context again. That takes a lot of time. Can we have a function that this can be done on demand for 1 specific subject without running the complete generation process. I would save serious time.

Multiselect is not working

I have a list with orders but the multi select won’t work in this list in Universal. In all other lists the multi select is working normally. We’re on 2023.3. In the WIN GUI it works.The grid is not in edit mode.Is there a feature I’m not aware of where we can turn off the multiselect in a grid?

For several purposes it can be wishful to to have a multi-line field in the grid. It can save space on your forms if you can see the full text of a memo field at once in the grid.At this moment only one line is displayed and it can not be line-wrapped.So I would suggest to create this feature.

Invoice recognition systems

Has anyone experience with purchase invoice recognition systems with a working interface with the TW application and Exact Online. We want to create a 3 way matching with the purchase order lines in the TW application and the invoices in the Invoice recognition system. Has anyone created something like this? Or does anyone know where it has been implemented?Thanks

ftp connection attempt returns -2

I have created a ftp connection with a very bacic ftp side. There is no ssl, no tls, no nothing, only address, username and password. Directly from the server we can connect with filezilla. From the TW ftp connector we cannot connect. I checked the ftp site and the credentials thoroughly end those are 100% correct. When we connect from the server we run into a message “This server does not support ftp over tls” “Your password and files will be sint in clear over the internet” So we have to click away this message. Could this message be the bottleneck for the TW ftp connecter giving the STATUS -2. Our system engineers ask if we can use the option “command-line override” for this ftp connection. Is this possible. What else can I do? Thanks anyone for answering.

Change from menu in universal

Does anyone know how I can change from menu in Universal?I have 2 Universal menu’s but I can only change them by setting the default menu in the SF on the projectversion, I’m connecting via the SF, not IAM. We’re still in development phase?

RABO API

Does anybody had experience with the RABOBANK API to put in payment collections. (incasso opdrachten) There is also more to tell about API’s then described in the references, what you figure out when starting with calling specific API’s.So if someone has some experience and is willing to share, that would really be helpful.

Optional parameters in proceduresOpen

As far as i can see, there is no option in the SF to define default values for subroutine parameters. When a default value could be defined they become an optional parameter in SQL server. I would like to suggest this add such an option in the SF?The advantage is that you don’t have to define all parameters when calling a subroutine.As far as I can see is that in the subroutine parameters an extra field should be added with default value. In the generate process the declaration of the parameters need to be changed so the variable will be declared as:create procedure proc_1 ( @a id @b id = 0) as begin In this case @b becomes an optional parameter and when calling procedure proc_1 there is no need to pass a value for parameter @b

Conditional layout task parameters Universal

Hi all, I’ve checked the feature matrix on the searchterm conditional, but I can’t find the conditional format of the task parameters there.I use the condtional layout of the task parameters a lot, but it seems that it doesn’t work at the moment.Can you please add to the feature matrix. The Universal GUI we’re currently using is 2021.3.14.Perhaps it’s already solved in a newer version.Can I upgrade, with no issues to the latest GUI when our platform is still on 2021.2?

Developer menu in windows UI not visible

Hi all, We’ve setup a new project and as far I can see all parameters are likely the same. However when starting the end application via the SF (we’re just started development) the developer menu is bar is not visible. I just copied the INI file of another application and only changed the DB name. Our new application does not show the developer menu. The application where I copied the INI file from does show the developer menu? The line executionmode = developer is in both INI’s Where else do we need to check something??

User Interface of breakpointsClosed

Why is the UI of the breakpoints different from the normal way of working? You now have a + symbol on the first line and every time you somewhat in that line the line is added. Deletion can only be done from the lint menu. I think this is weird behaviour and inconsistent…I suggest to use the normal naviagion bar to add breakpoints

Interface financial system

Hi all,For a client I’ve been asked to investigate on what level (in general terms) interfaces from the TW ERP system with financial systems are working and especially when the financial systems are ERP systems themselves like EXACT Globe or Business Central (Microsoft) or other.From my experience the interface is done on ledger level. So only financial bookings are created to reflect the financial output of the ERP process in the financial system.However there may be reasons to interface sales orders and/or purchase orders as well.Has anyone from a Business management perspective some best practice examples what choses are made (and why have those choses have being made) when talking about interfacing with financial systems. Basically it comes to the questions: Where do organizations lay down their cut between the TW ERP and the financial system? What data is generally interfaced?It would help a lot to get some more perspective from your experience about this subject.

Use log IAM only 1 user

Hi,In the use log in IAM I can see the use_log_sessions by many users.Only 1 user does have use-log_actions?How can I turn on the logging for other users?And can I query the number of times a task is used by a user?I can see some data but this is more than 1 month ago. select * from use_log_usr_action where project_id = 'serp'and usr_action_type_id like '%task%'and project_vrs_id in ('1.54','1.55','1.56','1.57','1.58')order by date_time desc

Process flow - execute task

Hi, I have a simple proces flow with only one step a decission box.I have created a control procedure for this step, with only one line of code execute ‘task’. However it seems that this task is not executed.I want to have a task to run the process manually (just in case of) So With this scipt I can have a task in the UI and it can be run in the scheduler.Is the scheduler able to execute a task with the exec command?

Errorhandling process flow

How can I track if there is an error raised in my process flow. In the IAM the logging says that the process has run every hour, but when an error raises in the process flow, can I see this in the IAM or what ever. SQL scheduler has an event logging where the error is shown.

Hi all,Does anyone know how to check the filesize of a file which is uploaded as document.Many company’s still have a restriction on the file size of an attachment to be sent to them.I want to give a warning if the filesize exceeds a specific limit?

Printing labels on Zebra printer

Has anyone dealt with printing labels on a Zebra Printer. With 2 of my clients I have the same issue that I cannot use the full width of the label.The label is automatically scaled to about 70% of it’s label size.And whatever setting I do, I just does not use the full width of the label.I have created reports in as well Dev Express as SSRS and both have the same problem. With DevExpress If I print my label on a HP Laserjet on A4, the label size is correct. If I print it to the Zebra printer the label is scaled to about 70%.I have contacted Zebra and they told me that the paper size of the label is not correct, but I setup the paper size of the label correctly in Dev Express and in the printer driver itself (I’m getting a bit nuts of this)The label size is 105 x 83. I already tried to change every single parameter step by step, but the label is still scaled to about 70%. The last attempt was a bit bigger but still 3-4 centimers of the label is not used. Continous barcode scanning with Android device in universal

Has anyone figured out how to implement barcode scanning in the Universal GUI. At this moment when I scan a barcode in a TEXT field the GUI does not perform an ENTER. So the value is Shown in the field but, the value is not processed by the default because the GUI does not handle the scanning action of the terminal as an entered value. (I already tried different settings on the scanner like HEX suffix 0X0A (Which is the equivalent of ENTER) But the universal GUI seems to ignore this suffix. So the result is that the value is shown in the field and the user always need to do something on the screen. We need to scan a barcode, process it’s value in a default, moves the cursor to another field or the same field. For example, scan a product barcode, scan a location, scan a product barcode, scan a location. A created a test form with only 2 fields and want the default to handle the scanned value and moves the cursor to the following ‘to-be-scanned’ field. Someone has ideas??? declare @msg v

End application is printing an SSRS Report 10 times smaller than from the SSRS Report builder

Hi there, I’ve created a label report in SSRS to print on a Zebra printer. When I run the report from SSRS the label is printed Ok. When I save the report in the SF and I run the report from the End Application (via the SF) the label is printed 10 times smaller then when I run it from SSRS report builder itself. What can I do about this??? See photo. The first label is from the SF. The 2nd one is from the SSRS report builder

Tasks in mobile GUI above cardlist

I don’t know why but in my development environment my tasks are disappeared above my cardlist in the mobile GUI. I already tried to add the showgridheader = true property to the cardlist but that does not work. In the live environment the tasks are shown above the cardlist. I’m confused!! We didn’t change anything. Same screen type, same cardlist.The only difference is that we added 1 task! We have now 4 tasks instead of 3?To test I disabled the task from the subject, but also then no tasks are shown above the cardlist. Please HELP! Our users will not be happy with this?
