Sorting on Checkbox(bit) works differently than I expect

I have a list that I would like to sort on a Checkbox column (Datatype = Bit). If I Sort on this Checkbox column by selecting Sort in the Software Factory and give it the Sort order: Ascending, I would expect it to work like that the value 0 comes before the value 1. But what I noticed is that it works the other way round; Ascending works like the checked rows come before the unchecked rows and Descending works like the unchecked rows come before the checked rows. Has this been a conscious decision or does this indeed work the wrong way?

Disable 'Mass update' button in GUI when there are no rows present in the subjectCompleted

One of the members from the project I work on noticed that the 'Update' button stays available even after the subject doesn't contain any rows. This doesn't break or harm anything; it's just that the button is available to push even though it won't do anything. The wish is: If there are no rows present in the subject, disable the 'Update' button automatically.

Ability to order the fields in 'Update'

EDIT: The order of the fields in the can be changed in Subjects-->Components-->Form. As commented by Henri Timmermans Topic can be closed/changed to question. Then his answer as Best Answer. ---Original Currently I don't think it's possible to change the order of the field in the 'Update' screen. It is possible that fields are ordered almost randomly. It doesn't use the List order so for an user it's very confusing. Here an example of a confusing order. I would like to be able to order this Update screen or at least it to be equal to the List.

Ability to create conceptual data modelsOpen

Currently I'm working on a project for which I need to make a generic import module/environment. This is very complex and costs a lot of time to make, and it is highly possible that tables and columns need to be changed during the creation of it. I have to resort to paper or a whiteboard, since I don't have a tool to make a quick and simple data model. Because I use paper and or a whiteboard, after designing a conceptual data model on it, I have to then make a picture of it with my phone to share the idea with my colleagues. Then if someone says something should change, I have to recreate it again, this time with the changes. Making a data model in the Software Factory is quite quick if you know how it should look, but if I have to recreate it, change it and/or add tables, add references between tables, add domains and so on, it can be quite time-consuming. Also the possibility of unused domains will increase; read more work to delete everything related to a deleted column. So what

Customizable menuOn the backlog

What I noticed is that as a user I can change the way my screen looks my selecting a different screen type or change what columns I see in a list and the order of appearance. What I can't change is the amount of menu items I see. In my case, I only use a handful of menu items within the Software Factory. I would like to hide certain menu items because I never open them anyway. Also changing the order of the menu to my liking is something I would like to be able to do. Edit: This would be a User preference setting, so available for any product (SF, IAM, End product)

Link to documentation of the Software FactoryCompleted

Currently there's no link to the documentation of the Software Factory (SF) from inside the SF. Sometimes I want to look something up in the documentation and have to open my internet browser and navigate to it. Since I don't have it as shortcut link or bookmark, it can take sometime to find it. (For me) it would be handy if I could open the documentation from inside the Software Factory. For example from the 'Developer' tab. There is then a button I can press that will bring me to the documentation of the subject I'm working on. List pages in the Windows GUI

I know that with the Web GUI we have pages in Lists, capping the amount of rows you see to a certain amount. Now I'm trying to do that too in the Windows GUI for the project I'm working on because we sometimes have a huge list of maybe above 6000 rows. In the Software Factory we can set a limit to how many rows are displayed, and even the page sizes. But it looks like the page size doesn't work for the Windows GUI. How can I introduce list pages in the Windows GUI or is this not possible and can we only set a maximum?

Opening menu/tile items by a shortkeyOpen

In a discussion at the customer it came up that their current software supports opening menu items by selecting a function key (like F2 opens the Search engine). Looking at the Software Factory, I don't see an option to do so. There is an option to assign shortkeys to Tasks but it's not possible to assign them to Menu items. Could this idea be implemented?

New Look-up control that combines the 'Suggestion contains' and 'Combo'Completed

For some of the fields in the application I work on it would be nice if I could use the best of both worlds ('Suggestion contains' and 'Combo'). So I want to be able to select a value from a Combo list but also be able to enter a string into the field which is contained in one or more of the items listed in the Look-up. Example: Field with look-up to city names: Amsterdam, Den Bosch, Groningen, Enschede, Apeldoorn and Utrecht. Then I can use the drop-down / Combo to select one of the cities. But I also would be able to put in 'sch' and find Den Bosch and Enschede and select one of them.

How can I create a RDBMS user with roles from the end product?

For a project, we would like to be able to create RDBMS users from inside the end product. For context, we are using a configurator inside the end product from where we are able to enter the first employee of a new company. We would like to make that employee be able to log in after we finished the configuration. I know which steps to take if I do it by hand; namely: sync my application to IAM, apply the roles to the database, create an IAM user, connect the user to a role, apply the user rights to the end product database and IAM database. Then the user is able to log in. But now I would like the end product to do this process. I'm able to create an user in IAM and give the user the right user group. Now I'm stuck because I can't apply the user rights to the end product database and IAM database. I noticed these tasks aren't Stored Procedures on the SQL database. So the question is, how can I make this work? I heard that in other projects people have run into these challeng

Is it possible to generate a 'DB' script with a different database name than used before?

In a project I work on, we would like to generate scripts for them and create a database named differently than we have. For example: our application/database is called 'Original', now I would like to generate all scripts but change the to-be-created database name to 'Customer' without having to edit the scripts or open them in the SQL Server Management Studio and run them myself. (One-click deployment) Connecting to the database 'Customer', which does not exists yet, will ensure the checkboxes (in the 'Execute source code' step) are checked accordingly. The 'DB' and the 'Create' scripts are checked and the generated script will run on the given database. But sadly the first script does not contain the 'Customer' database name, but the 'Original' name. So an error will occur since it tries to create a database that already exists, or even worse, make a database which will not be used. Where can I change this?
