Universal: filter-form cursor on selected field in listOpen

In the Universal GUI you can press ctrl-r and the filter form cursor will always be on the first field value.In the Windows GUI you can select a field in a list, press ctrl-r and the cursor in the filter form will be on the value of the selected field. Please add this feature to the Universal GUI too.

Display OData API information on entitiesDeclined

One of the standout features of Thinkwise is that many entities automatically generate an OData API, which can be used for CRUD operations and executing procedures. Although the URLs for these API calls are quite predictable, it can sometimes be a bit tricky to figure out how to trigger a task, subroutine, process flow, or a mutation on a table.Imagine if these entities in the Software Factory had a dedicated “API” tab that detailed the necessary URLs and supported HTTP methods, all while accounting for configured permissions. It could also auto-generate a sample JSON body for tasks, updates, subroutines, etc., where optional parameters can be easily checked or unchecked. This addition would make debugging API calls significantly easier, ensuring that you have the correct URL, method, and body structure right at your fingertips.

Delete model or branch warning in IAMNext release

In IAM Models and Branches kan be cleaned up by using the delete button. If you accidently had selected a model instead of a branch, the whole model is deleted including all branches.If all groups and roles are implemented in the SF a sync could fix the mistake. If not you're left with restoring the IAM database.Today I accidently removed a model instead of a branch this way. I now depend on IT to restore the database. Luckily it was no production IAM.My idea: present the user with a popup and having him/her selecting wether to delete a model with all branches or not. If it is up to me, deleting a model that has branches shouldn't be possible at all.

how to debug issue with Crystal Reports report?

In my TW application I use several Crystal Reports reports.The customer sent me a new version of the report, other than the rpt file and 2 additional parameters for the stored procedure used by the report no big changes.I've replaced the original report with the new report and added the 2 new parameters.When I try to open the report from the application I keep getting: Other reports work correctly, just this one report is being naughty :) :(

This release contains the following fixes for the lookup editor:A crash occurred when opening the dropdown if the lookup display column has a domain with elements. Please add here what is actually sent to an API provider. I have been struggling with the web connector and it's great to see all the variables but apparently a lot of things get done which resulted in a body request json that wasn't parsable. With trial and error I figured it out, but would be more easy to see what the platform actually sends to the provider.

Custom components, previewer (iframe) and it's restrictions.

I'm wondering with all the restrictions that the function of the previewer als portal to custom functionality will be. I was testing some external tooling to embed via the previewer. <iframe data-testid="previewer__setting-url" src="https://******/boards/1364237053117597402" sandbox="allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox" class="tsf-emotion-97u7f4"></iframe> Appareantly somethings are allowed, whilst others are not. Blocked form submission to '' because the form's frame is sandboxed and the 'allow-forms' permission is not set. Is there an overview of what will work in a previewer and what not? I know I can test everything and find out, but wouldn't it be easier to share your thoughts on restrictions and allowed functions? Anyway, why are form submissions blocked? And can I unblock them?

Action analysis in Universal GUIOpen

In the past, when we used the WebGUI, we used the IAM Action Analysis. After switching to the Universal GUI we can't get any data from the Action Analysis in the IAM. For us, as a ISV, it is valuable for us to know how our application is used by our customers and users.

Bug with Base tablesClosed

Hi,I have added a base model into my work model. The developer cannot add or delete those kind of tables or the columns that they have but is possible to rename or copy them to a new one that is automatically marked as imported from a base model wich makes it impossible to detele. That generate errors later on on Executeing the source code step.I think this may be a severe bug. Kind Regards,Paul

A quick improvement for me to work faster is to include domain names in the search option for columns here:In model contents, the domain names are included in the search. Would be great to have that within tables as well.

Assign color to a branch to make it easier to see which branch is selectedOpen

Currently when you have to switch a lot between branches the Software Factory sometimes provides an incorrect branch in the task “Switch Branch”. Sometimes I do not notice this and start working in the incorrect branch.When working with a lot of branches it becomes more difficult to see which branch is selected in for example the “Switch Branch” task. What would be of great help is to assign certain coloring to the branch. This could for example could trigger the background coloring of the selected branch in the task “Switch Branch”. Making it much easier to see which branch is selected and minimize mistakes.

Authorization to variant of table

We process different types of events, questionnaires and more. So we created different variants for that.To assign the authorization roles, we should be able to assign full rights to a webinar event, but only read access to e.g. masterclasses. Or looking at questionnaires: full access to invitations and no rights to session tests. Of course based on the menu we can limit the access to webinars / masterclasses. But giving full access to table evnt (for events, webinars, masterclasses, examinations) for webinars and read to masterclasses, the user has full access to both.So, can we get the option to grant access for a variant of a table?

Cancel search in SF when typingClosed

To make me model 10 times faster: when I type in a search field in SF, SF starts searching and blocks me from entering more or correct my search string. SF makes me wait, sometimes quite a long time. I cannot upload an example screen video: me misspelling ‘article’ in Model content > Columns and having to wait for 20 seconds. Would be nice when SF cancels the search when I am still typing.

In the Web GUI it was possible to use “Select all” and when activating a task it would ask if you wanted the records on the page or all records of all pages. Please add this also in the Universal and in addition make it work with the Multi Select XML parameter, as this popup did not seem to happen in that case.

Extend the 'group task function, similar to the ''detail groups'Merged

If the tasks can be grouped similair how the details are grouped. it will be easy to arrange tasks on multiple taskbars / task tile screen components.That will give options for the creativity on screen designs.

Split IAM sync into generation and execution and make it part of the creation screenOpen

When we do our upgrades (every 3 weeks) of our applications we take the application offline (deactivate in IAM) right before we execute the source code on the database and we put it back online after the IAM sync.However as time goes on our model grows and the IAM sync action in SF is taking up to 8min right now, the majority of that time goes into generating the sync code. If we could generate the sync code separately from the actual sync this would decrease the required downtime for upgrades by a big percentage because you could generate the sync code before taking the application offline. On top of that it is pretty easy to forget to do an IAM sync, it would be nice to have it part of the creation process/screen.
