We have recently upgraded to 2025.2 and wanted to start using the new Web Domain features. At first it didn't seem to work at all and it took me a while to discover why.

I am unsure if this is specific to Azure App Service but after changing settings in IAM like Web Domain (but there are other settings that have same behaviour) the setting will not be applied until we restart the entire App Service.

For bigger changes this is fine however if we quickly want to add a message to the login to announce maintenance this becomes a real nuisance. Can someone confirm or collaborate their experience with these settings and caching behaviour of Indicium?

Having a button in IAM to force refresh Indicium cache of IAM settings would be very helpful if this is simply the effect of caching.

Hi André,

Thanks for signaling us on this topic.

This is definitely something we want to improve for Indicium in the near future. We kept it out of scope of the web-domains feature, because it is a broader problem, as you already mentioned.

I’ve linked this question to the backlog item to keep you posted on this.

I had encountered it in the past when doing things with AI for SF but that's something that rarely changes so wasn't an issue. Hopefully this can be resolved relatively quickly as with this feature (and I'm sure many more will follow as SF moves into IAM) this becomes more and more of an issue.

One small request to help other customers, can this information be added to docs at all settings that currently need a restart of the website? As I lost a solid hour trying to figure out why the setting wasn't being applied….

Good point. I’ve raised a request to update the Docs for this.
