Steer collapsible forms via layout.Under review

I'm already becoming a fan of the collapsible sections in a form. Now I was looking at a comparison screen we have between ERP data and read data from a document. Would be pretty great if based on detected differences we could auto-collapse a segment.

Action Bar Setup

Is it possible to change the sequence of items in the Action bar?  We believe that it would be more logical to have the filter section next to the prefilters and not have the Actions/Tasks in between.Can that be achieved already?

Detail rights from combined rolesOpen

Currently a detail reference needs rights on the source table, the target table and the reference all in one role in order to work. However, we want to be able separate the roles for the source table and target table and the detail should only be shown to users who have permissions on the source table (including the reference) and target table.For example a situation with a product table and a calculation table with each their own menu item and their own role, but also a reference showing calculation as a detail on product. Some users only have a the product role and some users have both roles. Only for the users with both roles the detail should be shown.The only work-around we currently have is giving the product role rights to the calculation table without any column rights. But this way it always shows the detail, just with no content for users who only have the product role (the universal GUI shows an infinite loading animation). Which is very ugly and user unfriendly. Behaviour Prefilters in Action Bar

The new posibilities of action bar are really nice.In de dropdown list we like to see all prefilters, because on small devices this is needed to see the title of the prefilter and users get confused when grouped prefilters are split in two places.

User interface for operational employees (large fonts and big buttons)New

From our users in the operation (drivers, crane drivers, warehouse employees, production employees) I have heard regularly the requirement for bigger fonts and bigger buttons.These people do have large working hands and the tasks and the prefilters in the universal GUI are really small even as the letter size. They have no problem with scrolling up and down, as long they can read the info and easily can touch the buttons.Idea: We would like to have BIG BUTTONS in the form or at the end of the cardlist with the actions and prefilters they can do.And furthermore if we have 3 tasks or more they are hidden behind a really small icon with 3 dots.. That is hard to explain to these people. For my 3 clients we’re already talking about 300 people.

Rename task for Action BarsOpen

We have discovered the new possibilities of Action bars and are now going to apply them more and more in the screens.It is useful that multiple action bars can be used, but we are finding that it would be useful to give action bars a logical name. For example toolbar_grid_top, toolbar_grid_bottom, toolbar_form, etc.. Could a rename task be added for this?

U-GUI: Form tabs foldableCompleted

Hi. In the Universal GUI when you say in the SF to put something in the next tab it creates a new section. To have the same experience as putting something in the the next tab.. it would be nice have a section collapsable, so by default it doesn't clutter the screen and you can just fold it open when you want to see these details.  And perhaps it can come with an extra setting to have only one section open at the time or multiple.. just like with pre-filters where you can have only one or more.

Execute unit tests from mock dataOpen

As a developer it would be handy to execute unit tests from a selected mock data set and see the execution status in the ‘linked unit tests’-grid. This way it would be easier to determine the impact of changing the mock data.

Provide error message in extra column in failed rows export resulting from import wizardOpen

We frequently use the import wizard to import files into lists. We tend to use a view here with an instead of trigger, so we can resolve lookups through the view, validate the data and automatically map the column names with the import wizard. This all works tremendously well, but we would like to add something extra. If rows fail in the import wizard, you can export them later. Unfortunately, what you can't see is why these rows failed. They are color-coded, but you can't display a textual explanation for them. We would like to be able to use the tsf_send_message to return a message, which is updated with the corresponding row in the export with failed records. This way, an end user can see more clearly what needs to be changed and can then try to re-import the export with failed rows.This is just a possible solution, if there is a better idea to inform a user of the errors, without getting a popup for each row or aborting an import with an error message, that would be very nice.

Universal: Optimize space usage with grouped gridMerged

When you group in a grid a lot of room is lost with whitespace. In data rich systems you need all room necessary to show as much of information as possible without scrolling.  E.g. data density is a much spoken topic, this doesn't goes only vertical but also horizontal by utilizing your limited space to the max.

Make grouped grid appearance universal the same as win/webPlanned

The grouped grid appearance in universal currently differs from windows/web. Grouped columns are treated as regular grid-columns, which creates an indentation in the rows under this grouped columns.It would be nice if universal appears the same as Windows and Web in this case. Universal Windows/Web

Lock first column in a Cube in universal

In the windows gui the first column in a cube is locked. When scrolling in universal inside a cube the categories will scroll with it making the cube unreadable. Please make the categories fixed.  After scrolling horizontically.

Disable subjects logical concept when last template is disconnectedOpen

In the SF, when you assign a template to the code group of a subject/table. The SF automatically enables a checkbox in the subjects’ settings to enable the logic concept, for example for defaults, layouts and contexts.  However, when you ‘unassign’ the last template to a subjects’ code group, the checkbox is not unchecked, which always results in a error in the GUI. This forces you to manually go to the subject and uncheck the checkbox.  We would like this process to be automatic, in which the SF checks if no templates are assigned to subjects logical concept, automatically resulting in disabling the checkbox for that logical concept in the subjects’ settings.

Endpoint failed with 504

Did someone see those 504 errors before? We get time outs when trying to reach 2 endpoints and would like to know how to fix this.  We have 2 endpoints are unreachable (the other endpoints are working well). Those are the sales order lines and stock mutation. Those endpoints are standard Thinkwise. We do not see any strange errors on the application side also the infrastructure developer says everything is working correctly: ‘I have verified that the load balancer associated with the application is operational, and the target group receiving the domain traffic is in a healthy state. I also logged into instance and i can see that ec2 instance is running and healthy.I also  reviewed the associated security groups and firewall configurations. I can confirm that everything appears to be correctly configured and functioning as expected on the AWS side.’

Passing parameters from a task template in a processflow

When creating a record using a Task template how can you pass the created record id in a process variable for the rest of the process flow. Is this possible within the task template? Or do I need to use other functionality?

Windows GUI - indicium task staging resource start_commit end_commit

Hi,Coming from Indicium Basic, we currently are working on letting our postman test and performance scripts and runs work like the windows gui version that is compatible with the indicium that is also used by the Universal GUI.We got a large part of executing transactions working, but we encounter some issues with tasks.We are trying to make a task work. The Windows GUI debugger seems to lack information about how it executes a task. According to the responses from indicium when doing a POST request that does a END_COMMIT, it replies that there should be something with a START_COMMIT. The debugger shows nothing of its kind, only the END_COMMIT. Now using fiddler, we could scrape out that (one?) missing request (START_COMMIT) and put it in the postman run. It seems that for some reason every request sends back a 200 status, but the task has not done its job. (Does the GET signal_r request have any influence on the whole transaction/conversation?) Currently it’s impossible to use a separate report as a subreport as ThinkWise is unable to locate said report. I know your solution is to create a Master-Detail Report with a Detail Report Band, but that doesn’t work well for having summaries at the end of your report. So is this something you might consider finding a work around for? It would solve my problem a lot faster.

Translations in two languages in GUI

Im running a Dutch and English application for our business. Sometimes (cant recreate) we get a mixture of English and Dutch translations, which is a problem. In the near future we’d like to expand our application with the German language, which in turn will make this problem more complex and needs to be solved. However I do not know how to recreate this situation and am therefor writing this topic hoping someone can tell me so I can solve this. I’ve added a screenshot for reference, the message is english the application is dutch. I’ve verified the translation is correct.We are running on the latest version.

Add fields to custom cube view

I have a cube with several dimensions. Also a cube view were some of the fields were selected (created in 2024.3). Now I want to add some fields to the cube view, but I see no option to add (select) those fields in 2025.1

Being able to deploy after removing a template from assignmentOpen
