Hello,it appears that adding in a list with group until enabled does not work yet. Is there any idea when we can expect this?

Question to sql generation?On the backlog

I came across a story , and it mentioned a few AI cases that seemed interesting. Are there any movements towards adopting these type of technologies? There is a specific mention on 'question to SQL generation'. It would be great to have a user type in a question and the systems generates the right query to fetch the data and show it.

Rights for handler procedures

We recently changed the setting Not Granting rights to the role Public | Thinkwise Community. It seems that the task ‘Apply roles to database’ does not set the rights for handlers. Is that correct?

Ability to pre-set the default ‘_type’ state of objects for Context and Layout proceduresOpen

At this moment, if I state in the SF that a detail is not visible, the parameter to make it visible is not offered to the context procedure, and the settings in the SF database always win.This has 2 disadvantages;1) If we change the visibility in the SF and forget to recompile the context procedure, we get an error.2) If the internet is slow, or something goes wrong the user can see tabs, the user should not see. ( We have one place where we switch between 10 tabs … ).It would be nice to have 3 or 4 states; show, don’t show, or only show when the context stored procedure wants it, with “this” as default ... 4 states would be possible with one additional checkbox.This is kind of related to my previous idea, but technically requires more. User preferences can differ, and I like to build by enabling things, instead of disabling things. ( We have a row based security on top of the Thinkwise security… that is an important reason why I would like to have the possibility to only show things w

Multiple keys to select from detail in relationshipDeclined

I was just reading “filtering in a pivot grid”, and remembered that I had this Idea.If you have a list and a detail, you can select multiple items in the list, but the detail is only linked to the main focus item.I have a use case in which it would be great if you could expand this to, this key or … that key, or …, etc.With a filter it is possible to have a filter to select multiple options, but this could be less clear to the user, and the fact that it is not possible to make the filter mandatory makes that we can’t use this option. We have a large “fact table”, and I’m looking for a clear way in which a user can select some options to query, without ever selecting everything. The user should not start with everything, but with nothing. If you have a graph, and 1000 categories, you don’t want to start with “show everything”.If the graph would be a detail of a list with categories, the user could select one category and see the graph, or use the control key to select more.

At this moment there is a big limitation on how you can build a screen.Each new detail is a rectangular box with a new layout. One thing I would like to be able to do is this;---------- --------------------------------- A---------- C B----------- ---------------------------------With a relationship A → B → CWith the current screen engine this is not possible, and it will become; ---------- A---------- --------------------------------- B C----------- ---------------------------------It would become possible to create different screen layouts, and give much more freedom if a detail area could be linked to another detail area, instead of the main subject, within one screen.I understand that implementing this would be a huge change, but it would give much more freedom.

File upload with local storage and subfolder indication

I'm trying to upload files onto a local storage. Now it's a bit unwanted to have everything in one folder, so i'm trying to incorporate the subfolder like 'contract', but it doesn't seem to be supported. What is the status of supporting the subfolder using the file upload API (Indicium)? It surely cannot be a fixed value only from the SF.

Hi, in the Docs i see a note regarding Brady tags, and there is an older Knowledge Session where the benefits of RFId are shared.. But currently - as far as I can find out - there is no option for reading tags directly with Universal. Is this correct? Will this be available in the future?Blommetje

Hide empty columns in DevExpress

Hi all, When creating a report, I want empty columns to be hidden in a report. However, I am struggling to find the right way to get this working. At this moment, I have created a reporting page that allows users to select parameters that are needed in a report. When a parameter is selected, the view query gathers the values of the parameter. However, when a parameter is not selected, the view sets the value of the parameter to null. In terms of code, this works fine. The problem occurs when the report is created.DevExpress makes it quite difficult to hide columns based upon the value of the column, but I have succeeded in this. However, I want the next column to take the place of the hidden column in order to have a clean looking report. This is where I am struggling to find the right solution.Thanks in advance.

Dynamic staged model option to edit visibity in subjectsNeeds feedback

When adding the trace fields with the dynamic model with the staged strategy have the unwanted effect that the trace fields are read-only instead of hidden in the subjects in the SF.Possible solution, but I call it a workaround, is the option to create a variant if you want to hide the trace fields. In most lists you don’t want all the trace fields, which means that you have to create a variant for almost all subjects with a list (there are a lot!!!)Can’t you make it possible that the trace fields are hidden by default in the lists and that as a SF user we can enable them in the default subjects. The variants are really meant as variant for f.e. a different user group, or a mobile screen type. These are not meant to default create to turn off the trace fields.Thinkwise advises the staged strategy as preferred, but because of this side effect the already existing strategy’s are preferred for me!! Can this be changed. You don’t want a variant for each subject only for hiding the trace fi

It is very annoying when a model import fails because of invalid characters in the model.I did a invalid XML character test, but pipe symbols in Screen Type ID's were not detected. Errors also occurred for Runtime Configuration ID's with brackets in it.It would be better to enforce a proper validation in the model export routine.

Change AI provider per model enrichmentOpen

In the current era where the use of ai is becoming more and more visible, and the reliability of responses is getting better and better, the need for proper integration within Thinkwise is also growing. New models are getting better, and the ability to break down models and fine tune them brings AGI even closer. Unfortunately, it is not yet possible within Thinkwise to use multiple AI providers, or multiple (fine-tuned) models. When I have several model enrichments that use AI, it is not possible to set a different (finetuned) model for each model enrichment. We would like to have an ai provider and associated models split so that we can configure them in places within the Thinkwise platform with a specific task/purpose. This will make finetuning models with prompt/completion pairs much more interesting, as it can be precisely tuned to the task at hand.

Save the last X enrichment request resultsOpen

Enrichments and the AI that comes with it are a great tool to improve functionality of the SF. Troubleshooting these can be cumbersome however. Please add the last X results from AI/DB data. This makes troubleshooting a lot more efficient. Not sure how much data it would store if a request becomes too large. So maybe add a parameter setting for how much days/rows to keep. This goes for the tables: enrichment_run_ai_dataenrichment_run_db_data

The breadcrumb path in the Universal GUI looks like a clickable Windows Explorer setup, but it's not.When going through some software with a stakeholder they were wondering why they couldn't click the breadcrumb path to move back to the last screen or even the one before that.An excellent idea I thought! Prevent COUNT(*) calls from happening to increase performance?

Trying to improve performance with thew Universal GUI where possible, I have encountered the COUNT(*) being a big issue in certain screens as well. Especially when people are filtering using the combined filter.The way this filter works is already not very performance positive, but having the same call being done again to count the rows, makes the screen feel very sluggish. Certain searches take around 2.5-3.5 (maybe even more) seconds and that gets doubled by the extra call.I think this call is intended for the paging mechanic (display # max records over all pages) or in combination with a “max. no. of records.” to (not) show the message exceeding result shows message.Is there already a way to prevent this call from being made for specific views/tables?In my example this would already gain a 2.5-3.5 seconds waiting for a result to show.

Display type for prefilters and cube viewsPlanned

At the moment, we show prefilters in the prefilter bar. The prefilters only show an icon, and no text. Unfortunately, it can be pretty hard to find an icon that perfectly reflects what the prefilter does. Therefore, a text/title can sometimes help. Luckily, this can be found in the overflow menu. We would like to see a display type for prefilters, where you can choose to show the prefilterOnly with an icon With icon and text Only with text In the overflow menuSame logic could be applied to cube views

Bug with usage of Web Connections from a base model

Hello, I have a base model that consists on several web connections that also contains Query strings, request headers etc. I have add the base model into a work model and some of the http request failed to work. On a deeper inversigation I saw that the Request headers were not copied from the base model. Yet, the web connection's and endpoint's parameters for i/o or Query strings were copied corectly.Is that caused by a bug? Thanks,Paul

Move / hide columns in grid in Universal GUINext release

At this moment (GUI version 2024.3.10.0) it is not possible to move or hide columns in Universal GUI. Moving seems to be working, but it's not. When you release the column you picked up, nothing happens. In a ticket there is mentioned it is on the backlog. Where? What release? The option to hide, not found. Please make this consistent with Windows GUI

It would be incredibly helpful if SF could remember which windows were open when closing or switching branches and reopen them when the branch is reopened. I work on several projects, and sometimes there's a week between consecutive development sessions for a project. If SF could reopen the screens, I’d instantly know where I left off. Currently, I have to record this elsewhere, which takes time—about 5 minutes when closing and another 5 minutes when restarting. For three projects, that adds up to about half an hour per week, or roughly half a workweek per year. I would love to save that time.

Hide tasks in action bar but make them usable in a grid

Hello,When assigning table taks to subjects, I can see the table tasks in the action bar. However, I would like to activate the task by double clicking a grid cell. I know this is possible, but I am actually looking to hide the table task in the action bar, such that it is only possible to activate the task by double clicking the grid cell (and now via the actions bar). I am not looking to hide the entire action bar, because for some tasks I want to use the action bar instead.I did some tests and it looks like the task cannot be activated if you hide it in the action bar? We are using the newest Universal GUI version.

The HTML control in the Universal is very limited, a user cannot do anything HTML like. It would hugely increase its value when it's something like there in the forum, where you can do text layouts including colors, links, quotes etc…

Question about badges and breadcrumbs (and action bar)

The following setup. I have x main subjects and all have a document store. To have easy upload we use a custom drag/drop component. I have the following screen-layout. (see below) The following questions/remarks:The breadcrumb stops if the detail is inside a component tab-page.. So with details its like main subject > detail line .. when you put it like below it doesn't go further than main subject. Is this going to be 'fixed'? With badges you have a similar issue. I want to show the number of attached documents. However this badge number has to be shown at the top component tab-page. Is there going to be a solution to achieve this? And this setup is needed because my main subject will have the url with data parameters to steer the upload custom component (to the right). In this scenario I don't want a action bar in this component tab-page, if I remove the action bar it's added automatically. When is the solution 'ready' to define per tab-page if you want the action bar or not?
