Extend detail tiles with tasks and reportsCompleted

It is possible to add tasks and reports to the tiles menu. Unfortunately it is not possible to show tasks and reports in the detail tiles. Maybe a screen component property could be used to be able to enable/disable tasks and reports.

Domain to capture time as quantitative dataMerged

Hi, For our project we needed to capture the daily hours for employees in HH:MM format.In order to implement it Numeric(5,2) was used and then it was converted to HH:MM format with control procedure and subroutine. It will be really helpful if we can have a domain which will allow to store the data as time (without AM/PM). Thanks,Rucha

Show tooltip for image combo when in read-modeMerged

At several places in our application we use image combos in the grid to define types of records / kind of industries etc.. For most of our images it’s clear what is meant with it. But for some types it’s pretty hard to determine a descriptive image.In edit mode the translation of the image combo is shown beside the image. It should be helpfull to introduce a tooltip for the image combo when in read-mode (so directly available within the Grid)

Different settings for import/export on detail/subjectClosed

It would be nice to be able to disable import/export for a detail view and still be able to import in the regular subject view (grid).

Work models as base models for other work modelsOpen

We already work with base models which consist of tables, subjects, variants, etc. to create base modules, which can be implemented in other work models. When developing these base models, it is difficult to test your own work, since base models cannot be run seperately. The workaround for now is to connect base models to work models and then shift them back to work models. The connection stays, for now. We would like to see the possibility to use other work models as base models for other models. Can you think of a future proof solution?

Be able to scroll horizontally using a scrollwheelOpen

This would be a great QOL improvement for the SF.You’re able to use the scrollwheel on a mouse (or double-fingers on a touchpad) to scroll vertically.But in a lot of windows you need to scroll horizontally, which doesn’t seem to support scrolling using the scrollwheel on a mouse (or double-fingers on a touchpad). Right now you need to click the arrows or slide the horizontal scrollbar manually.

Show weeknumbers and month within Resource SchedulerCompleted

When setting the resource scheduler at “Days” I have an overview of the weeknumbers with dates. But when horizontal scrolling our Users loose the overview of the Month. IDEA: Insert name of Month within the week column. When 2 months within the same week you can show them both: like: “2022 - 17 (apr - may)”

Universal Resource Scheduler - zoom levelCompleted

Hi, Currently the Universal Scheduler can only display per day or week. It would be great if there was an extra zoom level. I want to set tasks for a day. So, a morning task, and an afternoon task for instance. In the currently layout, this will just be stacked per day; 2 jobs on the 5th.However, I want something like: Outlook sample -   Can this be considered?

Resource Scheduler - Hour-level timescaleCompleted

We use the Resource Scheduler in the Universal GUI to plan our Vessel fleet. For Operational purposes we need to be able to plan and display multiple Activities within a Day. Therefore we need an Hour-level timescale and the Resource Scheduler to place Activities after each other when Activity 1 datetime end is before Activity 2 datetime start. Currently they are stacked when the Day matches, even if the Time is not overlapping.Can this functionality be added to the Resource Scheduler please?This doesn't work for us

Breakpoint on screen componentOpen

I wish to be able to link a screen component with a breakpoint. For example to toggle from grid to card list when the screen becomes smaller than 500px, while the rest of the screen can remain the same. This will reduce the number of screen types and table variants.

It would be nice if Universal GUI could be optimized for mobile devices with small screens. So that we can deliver simple applications that are very intuitive and easy to use by all kind of users with a minimum of finger clicks.Something like this:

Ability to execute table tasks by swipingOpen

We would like to have the ability to execute table tasks by swiping a grid line. This would be very useful if your device has a touch screen. You should be able to link a table task to 'swipe to the left' and another table task to 'swipe to the right'. Currently you can show tasks on the top or bottom of a grid in mobile. To start a task for a specific record you should select a line first and then select the concerning task. By swiping you could easily execute a task for a line, it saves space on your screen and it a natural way of user interaction.

We were facing a similar issue as one that was posted here as question, and since I think it is a good idea and I can't find the idea suggested in the thread I am posting one. Case:We would like to integrate with a payment provider so the customers can directly pay whatever they have bought. This typically comes with a link to the payment provider that needs to open in a separate window while the application can wait until it is ready. At some point in the process flow a task is raised that states “next you're going to pay x amount of money” then the user has 2 options: yes or no. The yes should open the link provided in a new window. Whilst the no just cancels the task. (naming could of course be different)Once the page is opened and the user returns to the Thinkwise application the process must be able to continue where we ‘left’.TL;DR:It would be awesome to have a task that can open a link and either just open and done, await the user to return or have a callback like with payments.   This is probably mainly interesting for any web based UI.

Do not copy reference indexes when copying a tableClosed

When copying a table in the SF the references are not copied, however the indexes that are used for the references are. These indexes no longer make sense since you don't have the reference on the new table. So please remove these when copying a table.

SF - small usability improvement to the 'generate all the stuff' taskDeclined

Hi all,I am incredibly happy with the generate-all-the-stuff task in 2021.3. Could I just ask for a little more?The defaults are off for a fire and forget approach before lunch; mostly I come back after lunch to a sulking SF on the first minor warning.So, before lunch I puzzle over the options in the screen :generate all the stuff with optimal settings, note jumping radio positionsThere are five subsections, all of them have ‘exectute’ somewhere, but they do not always mean the same (compare ‘Execute creation’ with ‘Execute source code’ and then the ‘Execute’-flag on each subsection).The order of the radio buttons is a bit off. None of the error-related radio sets are strictly in increasing or decreasing order, and the radio sets for ‘Execute source code’ and ‘Generate definitions’ on the one hand, and ‘Validate definitions’ on the other hand have options and arguments inverted.I'd propose to stick to one set of radio buttons, list them in order of increasing sulkiness, and default to just crash through. That’s what you'd want anyway, when using this task!

Currently I always check the write options, but it would be nice if there was a way to set these defaults. I understand that this feature is currently unavailable.It would be nice to have this as (my personal/project) default setting.

Prevent automatic approval of subnamesDeclined

I am the only Thinkwise developer in the company, so when there is a new sub name, I dont want to approve each sub name.Just like the ‘Code review required’ setting it would be nice if there is a same setting for the approvement of sub names:

Show warning in process flow actions functionality that the code group is not generatedClosed

In process flow you can see the added functionality in the process action screen. However, if the code group processes is not generated this will stay blank looking like this:  Now it seems like no functionality was added to this process step, this is however a misdirection since the code group processes was not yet generated. It would be more user friendly if there was a small warning here telling the user that the code group processes is not yet generated so that's the reason why they don't see any functionality. After generating the code group, now the process functionality shows:

Improved confirmation message on cascaded deleteClosed

Currently the same message is displayed on deleting a record with or without cascading delete.It would be nice to improve this message by additionally saying something like “and all records that make use of this record”. This makes it clearer for a user that also connected records may be deleted.Being able to add a custom message could also be useful.

We are currently faced with the following request:“Select a record through a lookup and provide the possibility to overrule certain settings from this selected (and now linked) record.”The client wants to see just the actual values, but wants to see whether this is an original value from the linked record or if this is manually changed (and thus overruled) value.There is currently no pattern of achieving this, so we are thinking in the following direction:Have calculated fields in which the values from the linked record are stored (also used for triggering conditional layout); Having fields in which the overruled (if any) values are stored (these are the only ones that need to be stored in the database); Having fields that the user can see and change, but that are not stored in the database. These contain either the original value from the linked record or the overruled value. A default procedure will determine whether the values from these last fields will be seen as overruled (and need to be stored) or original (and should not be stored); An alternative could be having checkboxes for each of these overridable fields that also don't need to be stored. These will then determine which fields (original or overridable) will be presented through a layout procedure.For this reason we want the option to add fields to a table that will not be stored in the database (similar to calculated columns), but can be changed by the user.Using a view will bring to much overhead.

Password strength - not allowing to use previous passwordsDeclined

We want to enforce once in a while new passwords for our users. (security issue)But if we do this, the user is able to use the same password over and over. So we would like to have the ability to set the minimal password strength in such a way that the user is not allowed to reuse the last N passwords.

to support easy debugging of Unicode variables during development it would helpful to make it possible to send Unicode characters when calling tsf_send_message in the first parameter.Example:tsf_send_message "Česká”, NULL, 0 This now results in a message “Ceská”.Change needed is change of  type [tsf_msg_id] from [varchar](500) to [nvarchar](500)
