Where to control currency sign for Excel export of currency field

When I am exporting to Excel from a grid view, the currency fields are displayed in Excel with a $ sign. How can I control this? Extended properties of the application are set to "UseWindowsCulture”. However no matter what kind of language settings in Windows I change, I do not succeed to display the € in Excel. The cell property in Excel is set to $ #.##0,000 during export. While the currency setting in Excel is set to display € sign.

How to display percentage in the UI (when value in DB is in decimals)?

I am looking for a way to display a percentage in the UI, while the column contains decimal values in the database. E.g. 0.51 in database displays 51 in UI.I expected that the domain control field 'Percentage’ would do the trick, but it doesn't. The documentation is not very specific about what the Percentage control does when it is selected in a domain:I cannot be the first to deal with this issue, hence I hope that somebody here can point me in the right direction.Thanks in advance!

Set chart type of cube on the field level instead of on the cube levelOpen

It would be great to set the chart type of a cube on the field level instead of on the cube level, since then it would be possible to combine line charts with column charts. See attached image of what would be possible (Excel example).

Drawback of using unique index on column

Although I didn’t learn about this in my standard SF training I recently found out that there is a way in the SF to make a column unique by creating a unique index. See picture below: I wonder if this is common practice when one needs a value in a column to be unique? Are there any drawbacks that I have to take into account? I also wonder why this option isn’t available when creating the column?

Exclude column of data type xml from update trigger

I created a column in a table with the xml data type. However during execution of the source code of the update trigger of that table, I get the following error caused by this field.Therefore I would like to exclude this field from the update trigger, but I cannot find a way to do this. I already set the “Trigger for update” attribute of the column to false in the subject, but that doesn’t do the trick.The following highlighted code fragment in the update trigger is the problem I guess.Is there a way to exclude this field from the automatically generated update trigger?

Create custom color palette

I don't like the distinction between the colors in the default color palettes (see attached image) and would like to create a color palette myself. I would like to know if that is possible and if it's possible, how it can be done.

Possibility to share a user saves cube view with other users (make it standard)

Is it possible for a user (or admin) to share a cube view created and saved by a user, with all (or a selection of) the rest of the users?For instance:A user creates a cube view that will not only be useful for himself, but also for all members of his department. I will be great if the user can share it with his colleagues.

What is the advantage of attached database design?

When I was studying the present situation in our system, I came across attached database design. I would never have designed it this way myself, but since I'm relatively new to database design and eager to learn, I wonder what the advantages and disadvantages are of laying out the references and private keys in this way.A 'calculatie' consists of one of more 'calculatie_onderdeel' which consists of one or more 'calculatie_onderdeel_blok' which consists of one or more 'calculatie_onderdeel_blok_vak'.When I would have been the one to design this, I would have used one private key per table. E.g. calculatie_id for the first, calculatie_onderdeel_id for the second and so on. Then I would have created PK / FK references on these id fields.Please see attached picture of the design I'm referring to. Any thoughts on this, or some background information are welcome.

Where to configure available printers for my project?

I am on SF 2017.1 and would like to add a printer to my project to be able to select a specific network printer for a report (see attached screenshot). I chose this approach to be able to influence the printer settings for a report (e.g. orientation, collate etc.). Any help is appreciated!

Sequence in Process Flow

I have the following process flow. In this flow I use a Print Report action that saves a report as pdf-file. To make sure that the user doesn't get the "file already exists" dialog. I decided to delete a possibly existing file with the same file name (row dependent) first. Although the process flow looks great 🙂 It doesn't work! What I see happening is, that the pdf-file is created and immediately deleted. Only the last pdf from the collection of records is not deleted. It looks like the Print Report step is executed before the delete file connector has been executed. My first question: How can I prevent the Print Report action from starting before the file has been deleted. I already created a process procedure to control the transition to the next process step, but unfortunately this didn't help either. My second question: Is there another way to prevent the "file already exists" dialog, when overwriting a report?

Is possible to pick a coordinate on a map component and save it into a column?

I read in the documentation about displaying a coordinate on a map component. I would like to have the user select a point on a map and then use this coordinate as input data in a coordinate column. Questions: Would something like this be possible "out-of-the-box" in the SF using the maps extension? Is there except for the paragraph in the documentation some additional documentation about this? How to control 'status code' result from a process action

In one process step I want to check if a certain row meets some criteria. The next process step should depend on the outcome of the criteria check. As far as I understand this has to be done through the status code result (see attached picture). My first question is how to control this 'status code' from process action 'execute task'. In other words: How can I link a (output) parameter from a task to the 'status code'. Second question is wat the type and value of the 'status code' must be. As I understand it has to be an integer and 1 should follow the successful path and -1 the unsuccessful. Is that right?

Two (or more) reports in a process flow on multiple records

The situation is the following: I have two reports. When I run both reports seperately on a collection of records, it will give me a report for each record. First a report for the first record, then a report for the second and so on. What I would like to achive is: I would like to make a process flow to execute both reports on a collection of records and then I would like to be presented with the first report for the first record, then the second report for the first record, then the first report for the second record followed by the second report for the second record, and so on. I haven't been able to achieve this. It appears like I am not able to cary forward the collection of records to the second process action. I hope my question is clear. Any help or hints would be appreciated. Thanks.

Error caused by display_expression

One column of my table has the column id 'display_expression_1' and it is giving me an error (Invalid column name 'jaar') in the application when modifying a record. The column description in the SF says: "Automatically created with the upgrade to G9.5. Replacement for look-up display expression." There are other display expression columns in the same table which are not causing an error. The only difference between them is that the former column has no 'Expression dependencies' specified. See comparison of both columns below. I expect that this lack of dependencies is causing the problem, but cannot find a way to add them. Please advise how I can solve this issue. Thanks!

Is it possible to add a line based on some queried values to the graph view of a cube. See red line in attached image (Excel example).
