Is it possible to use the Exchange connector on Azure? We have the Thinkwise platform deployed on an Azure instance and want to send mails from this. Or is it easier to implement the Graph API?
Hi All, The scenario is simple. I have a User which logged in the application in Universal GUI 2022.10 and since then has not accessed the app. We upgrade the GUI to 2023.1.12 in the mean time. They then try to access it now and get the top popup for New version is out etc.. but they ignore it. Not having latest GUI version will be mising optimizations, improvements, and functionality supported by latest version right ? How can we force the GUI update on the Users, so that when a new GUI version is out they automatically get it when loging in? Thanks
Hi all, I have a requirement for which I need to encrypt and decrypt column data for a specific table or view. The application is on Universal GUI. The user needs to click a task button provide the password save it in the session cookie. When the user will want to see the decrypted information of the specific encrypted related View. A function will need to have access to the session cookie to retrieve the entered password of the user. This view will utilize the function to decrypt the column values upon refreshing the document. If No Password OR Wrong password was entered the view will show the encrypted information. Any other idea how to implement something like this differently would be useful. *Note: The database is already encrypted and that protects the data from outside theft, however it does not protect the data from Administrators within the company or people that have dattabase access. This solution is for covering the later part. Edit: Below functionality of Azure SQL will be
Dear all, As per subject I’m trying to setup the SSO on the Universal GUI for part of my users and facing an issue. The documentation mentions the setup of the SSO from Thinkwise perspective which is sufficient, but there is no documentation at least for the setup for Azure/AWS/Google perspective what is actually needed. My Setup: I have a Resource group (RG) called TEST I have a VNET for the RG I have SQL server and App service in the VNET I have a Front Door having the default *.azurefd.net and my custom domain The Front Door points to my App service and redirects traffic correctly. The Indicium and Universal are installed on the App service. The whitelist of client redirect URLs in IAM is my custom domain only. For the SSO: I have done the App registration I have added the new configuration in App Service for the OpenID Microsoft authentication I have added my custom domain on App service Problem I face and would like some input is that, The App registration requires that the Redire
Hi, Question for Universal GUI. Is there an option to allow the menu to be automatically expanded to show all active groups or specific groups? Eg. I want only Main group to be expanded but not the other groups in the menu.
Hi, Is there a setting to set the timeout of a step of a process flow or the process flow itself as a whole? If I try to run a very time consuming Process flow I get my application hang and need to refresh the page to continue using it, despite the error the process flow will continue executing in the background in (Indicium). Any help or suggestion is appreciated.
Hi all, I need assistance as I’m not sure what I am missing. I’m trying to migrate our Development server to Azure and I’m facing some issues. So what I have done: I have created a VM on Azure. I have an environment topology setup on Azure with its own (resource group, vnet, sqlserver, connection end points, App service etc etc..), VM is part of same topology. I have migrated the IAM and Software Factory DB from On Prem to my Azure SQL server. I have installed on my App service my required GUIs, Universal/WEB. I have installed on the App service and configured Indicium (Universal) and Indicium Basic. I have placed under the Azure VM the Windows GUI and made the correct connection to use indicium to authenticate for the users instead of windows as it was in the On-Premise. I created an IAM user and gave the privileges' of being an IAM admin and SF developer. However my new IAM user can see the IAM app being an admin when opening the Windows GUI and Software factory, but the SF is not ac
I would like to know if there is an existing Stored Procedure in IAM that can return me the Application alias that I am currently logged in?
Hi, I’m trying to set up a sync for my application in Azure. I now have the following issue: https://docs.microsoft.com/nl-nl/azure/azure-sql/database/sql-data-sync-data-sql-server-sql-database Here you can find: “Kolommen met User-Defined gegevens typen worden niet ondersteund” So, since the whole Db is based on this principle, I can’t run this. If I manually change my Db to have a date_type (bigint, PK) (Same specs as T_id used in SF) it does recognize that column. Are there any thoughts on how to fix this? Much appreciated! Thanks, Alex
