When setting my role for a certain process flow, I noticed that the “Filter” was not enabled in “Meta”: Set Filter allowed, but Meta is disabledI had indeed not allowed “Filter” on the Subject and for the “Filter” I had set all columns to “Visible for filter” = “Never”.It came to a surprise that my Process flow was actually working and indeed using the “Change filter” action.Reading up in the documentation I see this:Description under process flow action “Change filter”I would think my situation is not conforming this statement as the Subject does not allow nor have any columns enabled for filtering.The reason I had initially disabled the filter options, was that I wanted to prevent a user attempting to change a filter and later I decided the research my process flow options.Now my main question is, is this functionality working as intended?I am happy it works as it does now, but I want to be aware when this is not supposed to work like this and might get fixed, causing these flows to

Hi, I'm trying to setup a multi tenant multi application environment, where i have created a new Tenant for a new Application and made this user only an User Administrator for the new Tenant. The issue i'm running in to is that the new Tenant that is only User Admin for the new Tenant can still see all users from the other tenants. Note that i'm only having this issue 1 environment, local and on our test environment this works without any issues. Working setup on test: TESTENANT has 2 users in the tenant where one is an user administrator.Tenant Users with TESTENANT When logged in as the TESTENANT user admin i can only see users for this Tenant   Not working setup with the same settings:Tenant 4 & 5 only have an User Administrator Green is Tenant 5, Yellow tenant 4   When logged in as Tenant 5 user Administrator we can see all users from all Tenants, where Tenant 5 only contains 2 users linked to that Tenant.   I tried the exact same thin in this environment

Tuesday february 11th 2025 we upgraded our environment from 2022.2 to 2024.2.The 2022.2 environment had a valid license until 2025-05-12 as was showing in the indicium log.After the upgrade (which by the way took about 10 hours to complete!) the application and connected systems proved to be working.Unfortunately a message popped up regarding the license to be expiring after 7 days. We thought this was due to the missed license update time frame and expected this message (afflicting all users logging in) to be solved the next day.Unfortunately the messagebox keeps popping up until today. At this moment the counter says 4 days.Last thursday I already filed an issue in TCP but so far no response. I have something weird.My form consists of several groups and currently they are shown eiter next to eachother or on seperate tabs depending on the width of the form.My form is height enough to show at least the first 2 groups in the first column but TW decided to show them on seperate tabpages: Both groups easily fit together on the first tabpageThe weird part is that according to Subjects in the SF there isn't a group called Transport for this view: I suspect that the implied break in the above screenshot causes my issues?For the record, there should be a new group there. But somehow it disappeared.When I reinstate the transport group the result in the app is still the same. When I do this: Long story short…. Help…Can someone explain to me what is happening here?Feels like some bits fell down in the database… :)

We are on SF version 2024.2 with a Windows GUI. I noticed that the select query is still including hidden columns in the list.We have for example a table with JSON data. I don't want the JSON data in the list, but I want to be able to filter this column and only show it in the form.   Same in the SF, when I open the reports in the SF, it still includes all ‘file_spec_data’, but it is not in the list. When I have a poor connection, I have to wait.  I thought this performance issue was already solved. Is this only solved for Universal in Indicium?   

We're trying to create an application in Thinkwise which uses an Oracle as underlying database.The following configuration is used:- Model:  RDBMS type: Oracle- Runtime configuration:  Database:    Server name: <server-name>\<pdb-name>:1521    Database: THINKWISE    Pool credentials:      User: THINKWISE      Password: <password of user THINKWISE>      On creating the Execute Sourcecode gives errors.Connection to the database is successful and the software factory identifies that the schema exists and will skip the db step. When I set the same grid row height (22 px) on different tables, I get a different result. I am using Universal GUI 2024.3.15.What could be causing this difference?  

Hi,  Need help on How to sort the result of the column with Expression?Below is a drop down list of the company, with Code - Company Name, currently the code is the one sorted in ascending order the code - company is column with expression because we put a hypen (-), I tried to add an order by in the expression but i got unknown error. I tried to sort the column company but the drop down didn't sort out, it only sort the list of the company.Could anyone help how to sort the company name instead of a code name in  the dropdown list Thank you in advance 

On our development and test server whe do not use the secure connectionSo every time whe get this warning popup:  Is there a way to switch it off ? For production whe are using a secure connection 

For expansion of our application we want to add a complete translation for an other language than Dutch and English. We do not have access to AI functionalities due to company policies so we can’t use that.Is there a way to prepare translations in Excel and import those into SF/ IAM (or any other way)? Thanks in advance.

We have a lot of space used by the report_history file. This file contains data of old deleted branches. Is there an easy way to cleanup the history?   

​@Mark Jongeling  a year a go you've provided a hotfix for this problem. After upgrading to 2024.2 it returned..  can you provide the same hotfix again for this issue?  

We have created a mobile App for a specific group of end users which uses Thinkwise as the backend. Within the backend there is a process with multiple tasks which represent themselves as dialogs. We want to call this process from the App using a deeplink. This works. The effect is that the Thinkwise Application desktop with side menu is also shown. This is from and endusers perspective a non-desirable situation. The tasks which show up as a pop-up are not a problem. Is there a possibility to hide the Thinkwise desktop when calling a process as a deeplink?We are using 2024.1.13

We have a model version with 2 applications. For each applicatie a user group (ad) can have different roles. When I apply the rights for a specific application to the database, it seems that the script is not based on the authorizations for the selected application. The scripts for both applications are the same only the use database differs.   The script is also only adding members and not removing members. When rights are revoked I want to be able to remove the member from that database role. Am I using the wrong option or is it creating the wrong script?

Hi!We have a screen where the user is able to respond to some questions, after the user response, he can click the task "Next" in order to start the handler code.We are doing this combination in order to have the editable fields directly available and to not be required to open a task for it.The thing is that the Next task is a ghost task which is triggering the handler for the auto-edit section only if there are some changes. (usually from what we observed, also the default is working that way, until you do not change something in a field and focus out, is not triggered).The problem for us is that for some questions, the answers can be prefilled from previous questions and the user needs to just skip that question by clicking Next, thing which will not work because there is no actually change of the fields since are prefilled.We can and have something to automatically skip the question if is answered, but for this case, it will be a bit unhandy since there could be multiple questions

Hi,the application log retention setting has been made into a select instead of a input field. This means we can only select between 30, 60, 90, 365 days and indefinitely. Because we have a lot of process flows that create a lot of logs the IAM becomes slow and unresponsive.And yes, i totally agree that working with scheduled system flow that run every 2 seconds should be avoided but life.Can we change this back making this field into a normal INT field again? That would give each developer the flexibility needed. It’s not like the value isn’t stored in the database as a int so it’s only a cosmetical change. Or at least take out the constraint limiting the values that we can put in the global_settings table in that field. 

Hi,I have the following situation where I want Thinkwise to act as kind of a proxy. The intent is that an external consumer makes an API call to our Thinkwise application and the application does an additional call to an external resource where the result should be returned to the consumer.A possible (partly) solution would be to start a proces which has a HTTP-connector task, but how can we give the result back to the calling consumer?I can imagine this can only be done using a system flow. I also read something about a process flow with a custom protocol. Although there is no need for custom protocols, the concept might do the trick.Any ideas how to approach this? (I played around a bit with the custom protocol option, but cannot seem to get a request working (error that the resource cannot be found or is temporary unavailable). When I try to call through indicium it finds the process and states that it should be called using the /open in stead of /indicium, but when changing this to

Hello everyone,As the title suggests, I have one task, which is supposed to have a badge, where the  badge does not show up. In a working situation I expect the following: And the requests that show up in the network tab regarding the badge:  When I try this for the other task I get the following: The task in the menu has no badge. The network requests look like the following: It returns empty. When I do the badge query at the database directly, I get a result of 233 in this case. And the badge is configured on this task like this:​​​​​​It does exactly this, it refreshes after every 3 seconds, but it does not show the badge itself. What are we doing wrong?

I'm trying to upload files onto a local storage. Now it's a bit unwanted to have everything in one folder, so i'm trying to incorporate the subfolder like 'contract', but it doesn't seem to be supported. What is the status of supporting the subfolder using the file upload API (Indicium)? It surely cannot be a fixed value only from the SF. 

How do tasks get executed via Universal GUI. We have containerized a lot of deployments with limited access to the databases. Therefore I'm introducing a backup task in the model.The task works when I run it in SMSS/ADS, but via the model it doesn't and there are no error messages. When I invoke the task via SMSS/ADS then it makes the backup and I get back the json with backup info. When I run the task from the application, it almost instantly ends. Meaning it didn't work, it didn't wait for the backup (S3) to complete? There is no logging, no error, et cetera..  what could be the issue here?
