Code template validation trigger with parameterOpen

While reviewing control procedure templates I continuously keep seeing trigger template in which people declare variables and set them. It would really be helpful if we could automatically check trigger templates for the use of variables, whilst not using a cursor. Variables are required when using a cursor. In nearly all other scenario's triggers do not require the use of variables. Most times, that these variables are being set, this will lead to errors when the inserted contains more then 1 record. Therefor I would like to suggest we add a validation (or an option within the code review screen) to check trigger templates for this mistake. This would significantly lower the chance that developers will make this mistake.

Disallow all prefilters inside a group to be inactiveCompleted

In certain cases we combine different data subsets in one table and use excluding prefilters in a prefilter group to switch between the different subsets. For example one table contains both fiscal and calendar years and with excluding prefilters it's possible to switch between the two. However if the end-user disables both prefilters both year types show up in a list. This means that the data set in the list becomes too large leading to wrong sums in the aggregation bar among other things. I would therefor like to propose the option to make it mandatory to have a prefilter active inside a prefilter group. In practice this would mean it's impossible to deactivate a prefilter by simply clicking on it. A user would have to activate another prefilter to deactivate the previously activated one. This would prevent a data set in the list to be too large.

Passing parameter values between forms / screensClosed

Information that you want to look up and pass through to your current activity / transaction is only possible if you develop the same screen for every transaction. Example: If you would like to look up stock information in a purchase order line and have a selection inserted in you current purchase order line you have to develop a screen for purchase. If you want to have the same functionality for a sales order line means you have to develop the same screen with stock info again! It should be possible to develop one screen / form from which values are passed to the screen from which you invoked this (now general) form.

Add option 'Keep Translations' to rename tasksCompleted

Quite often during app development id's of objects* are changed by use of a rename task (Alt+R). In many cases the translation can remain the same. For this an option 'Keep Translations' would be helpful. * Tables, Columns, Tasks, Task Parameters, etc..

Graph: Intervals manually adjustedOpen

At this moment the graph interval is generated from data, it determines the interval by itself. It would be nice if the graph interval is automatically generated from the data, but could be adjusted manually. To for example: steps in 0,5, steps in 1 or steps in 10.

Easier way to add tags to objectsCompleted

Currently the tag tab is only available within the full model object. It would be a whole lot easier, and faster, if these tag tabs were also available within the modellers such as: task (+parameters), report (+parameters), data model + subject modeller (tab and columns).

Hiding notification panel automatically.Completed

Is it possible to make the panel (in which notifications are to be displayed) automatically hidden when there are no more notifications. This is annoying because every time when you get a message in the panel, the panel rises and takes up screen space. Then, you have to empty the panel first before you can hide it again. I'd like to be able to make the panel disappear immediately after emptying.

Graphic planning: provide days that are made grey by defaultCompleted

If you want to make certain days grey in a resource scheduler (for example the weekend), you have to write a view that provides these days for each resource. If you zoom out the schedule, this view contains a lot of records, which is bad for the performance. You should be able to provide days that are made grey (or another colour) by default.

Suggestion to improve 'between' filter condition.Completed

When you use the filter condition 'between' you must always enter both the min and max. If you leave one empty, you will receive an error message. It would be nice if the condition would then automatically be adjusted.

Excluding multiple NULL values for indexes by defaultCompleted

In SQL Server, a unique index does not allow multiple NULLs by default. There is a way around this by adding a where clause to the index. (where unique_field is not null). However, this can not be modelled in the SF.
