I would like to have a screen component with status information. A subject could have a "status view". The status view is a SF-table that refreshes based on the "Auto refresh" settings. You should be able to customize the apperance of the status component in a theme.
I would like a search option to find a task in a Gantt chart. In our current version (2018.2) I can only search and filter resources.
When a template code conflict occurs during a merge session it's possible to merge the code via an external diff/merge tool. TSF requires the existence of the diff/merge tools WinMerge or Kdiff3. We actually use UltraCompare as the default diff/merge tool when comparing code. It would be nice if we could configure the default diff/merge tool for the TSF.
Hello Community, I would like to change the font and size of labels. Right now it is possible to change them but you will change them in the whole application. Example: I want to change ticketnr to be the same size as the number 28. Kind regards, Thijs Holterman
Lets say I have a prefilter for all issues with status 65. I'd think it would be a nice addition if I could configure a drag 'n drop task so that if I drag an issue to the prefilter, the status gets updated to 65. I don't know if that makes sense, but a coworker and I talked about it and I figured it was a good idea.
Currently, in the validations for translated objects, the object type in the tree is displayed with its database value instead of the look-up value. I'd like it to be the look-up value so I don't have to open the form to see the object type. Object type
To make the learning experiene as smooth as possible, I think we need to option to define different levels for the same user. In this way, a new user works in a simplified user interface with only the basic functions. After gaining some experience, the user can level up to use more advanced options. Without asking the administrator to change his user group. We could facilitate to with the definition of the difficulty level on a role-level for the specific user group. For the user group Backoffice for example, maybe the role to create a customer is a ‘beginner’-task but to create an invoice is an ‘advanced’-task. Ideally these levels should be configurable in IAM so if you want two levels that should be possible but also three or five. Configuration in IAM Then, in the end application, an end user can change the difficulty level of the UI just as easy as changing its display language. When a user choses the advanced level, he gets all the roles designated to the advanced level but also the Beginner level. The Expert level get al the roles of the advanced and beginner level. Change the user Level As an final addition the user should be able to customize his own level by picking and choosing out of all the assigned roles of his user group(s).
In larger tables, sometimes finding the column in the grid/form list is just a stupid search. Would it be possible to create a search, that will highlight (not filter) the matching columns? In the right upper corner you type something like 'item_tracking_number’ and the matching row lights up like a Christmas tree!
We are very much looking forward to Badge support on Detail Tabs and Detail Tiles in the Universal GUI. Who is with me on this one?
The idea is similar to this idea:Only the above idea is for one table, my idea is for all code groups.Currenty after making a new project version, the code groups are not generates and that means they are not visible in the Code overview screen. This is a screen I use regularly to find all functionality applied to a table/view, tasks and other objects. Now I either need to Generate code groups per Code group that is present or generate definitions for the whole project version, which may also bother other developers in the same project version.A button to quickly generate all code groups would be a great solution. This task can then be attached to the 'Program Objects’ table. That way the Task is present in the Code overview screen.
During development, the task 'Refresh Model' is used often. It would help when the menu is opened after the refresh routine has finished.
When images are uploaded to the database or file storage via the Mobile GUI, valueable meta data, like the image meta data and GPS coordinates, get lost. In various business scenarios EXIF data could be very usefull to organize binary data. Hopefully this can be solved in a next version of the MobileGUI.
Current situation The lookup control 'combo' behaves as a combination of autocomplete + dropdown menu. When you fill in a value that's not present in the source table, it automatically removes the input when you perform another action. However, if you made a mistake and this is the last field you fill in before saving, you'll save a record with an empty field. Because it happens instantly after you press save (from the user's perspective) it has a high chance of going unnoticed. Even more so when the list and form are on different tab pages. Now, the source (read-only) control makes sure you can only enter existing values. But this setting doesn't have a dropdown menu. Suggestion Perhaps it would make more sense to change the 'combo' control into a combination of source (read-only) + dropdown menu. This way users can select from existing values while manual input is controlled, making it behave more like a domain. And instead of automatically clearing the last field, it will notify the user that they're entering a non-existent value.
We have a wish to send an ical (calender item) file to an extern email address. If we can create an ical file we can easily invite people to appointments without switching to outlook. The ical format is pretty standardized and the most used calenders can work with this.
Suppose: I have only 1 customer, that’s all. This customer is new in january. The counting in the cube is like: Year Quarter month #new #customers 2015 1 1 1 1 2015 1 2 0 1 2015 1 3 0 1 Subtotal quarter 1 1 3 As said, I have only 1 customer. The total new customers is correct, but the total customers is NOT. This is only possible if I count the unique values. On the internet I found “countdistinct". More information I found on: https://www.devexpress.com/Support/Center/Question/Details/S170268 Implemented: v2014 vol 1.3 : Download official update Additional information: With v14.1, a new summary calculation mode has been added – Count Distinct. Is it possbile that this will be implemented in de SF. It would be very helpfull.
