This is for Universal GUI.
As a user I would like to update/change my password while already logged in the application.
It would be useful for users to have that ability provided to them in the Account menu.
Placing a Change Password in the Account Menu in Universal GUI

Enter your username or e-mail address. We'll send you an e-mail with instructions to reset your password.
A Change password option has been added to the User preferences screen:
