Support for Web Authentication APIOpen

Since iOS 14 also iPhone supports the Web Authentication API, Android supports this a little longer already. This functionality allows users to login on a website (or Progressive Web App) using their device-registered authentication methods (f.e. PIN / FaceID / Fingerprint).It is especially useful for mobile users, who need a quick ánd secure way to access our application. For example for field operations personnel that has to retrieve information for their next assignment, or has to register hours/activities. It would be great if Universal/Indicium support this authentication flow as well, enabling a more frictionless sign-in!

Show foreign key with image and text (like image combo)Closed

You can use an Image combo to combine an image and text in one field. This is only for a domain with elements and I would like to do the same with a foreign key. That makes the UI a lot more visual and it is basically the same UI concept.

Selecting multiple rows in a card listOpen

On a mobile device, you can select multiple rows in a grid, but not in a card list. Especially on a mobile device, card lists are used a lot because of the limited space. It would be great to have this option too.

IAM-SF: Make process flows logging optionalClosed

After upgrading to 2021.3 our SQL server get flooded by process flows schedule logging. After a week there are more than 600K records. Would be nice if we can make these schedule logs optional.We even had some problems, see;

Maps support for MultipolygonOpen

It would be a nice addition if the Maps component would support the Geometric type Multipolygon. We use the Maps component and the Geometric type Polygon to show f.e. the ECA zones at Sea. This works fine with the Polygon type, but this then also overlaps with islands in that area. The Multipolygon would allow for ‘cutting out’ inner parts of the Polygon, for example islands.Multipolygon

Assign Reviewer to a work-item in the SFDeclined

Personally I think it's a valuable feature to assign reviewers to work-items that are assigned to me. So it's clear who is responsible for a (peer-)review of my work. This is also due to the current code-review that let's you only review functionality code, but is apart from work-items. Sometimes I'm assigned to work-items that are not related to code, but just supports a certain work-assignment in the project/customer case that needs to be done inside or even sometimes outside the SF e.q. screen optimizing, set_up theme's, migrating test_data, etc… One step further.. The assigned reviewer of the work-item is presented on the task-board beneath the assigned work person of the work-item. Second step further.. It's an option to use the standard notification SMTP settings for letting people now that a generation process has started, is also used to let people now they have been assigned as a reviewer for a certain work-item. It can also be checked under 'review settings’. If assigning reviewers to work-items is required.

Radio button input but text outputOpen

It would be useful if we can change radio buttons to plain text when selected in read only mode. This way you can use the UX benefits of using radio buttons instead of dropdowns when there a only a few items to choose from. But when the field is read-only you can only see the selected value, this way the user is not hindered by seeing the values that are not applicable or of interest to him on that record.

Quality dashboard - Configurable guidelinesOpen

The score for the specific parts of the Quality dashboard are now calculated based on fixed guidelines by Thinkwise, like if the percentage of comment lines is 10% or above you get five stars.What if the guidelines of my company/project are higher, like say 20%, then the score doesn't make much sense to me.I think it would be beneficial to make these guidelines configurable, especially for our SI's & ISV's.

Deployment package dependency issuesOpen

We have functions that use views and views that use functions which leads to incorrect upgrade scripts in the deploy packages which in turn leads to upgrade errors when trying to upgrade a system. This has a significant impact on the time that is needed to create, deploy and execute the deploy package successfullyWhen changes are (being) made on a view and the view is used in a function is something that can lead to upgrade errors on ‘FUNCTIONS’ because the changed ‘VIEW’ must be available in the system before the function can be implemented. Same the other way around when a function is changed and is used within a view. This also occurs when tables are changed that are used in a view.We would like to see that the deploy mechanism takes care of this situation and results in a deploy package that manages the dependencies between views and functions, and tables and views.

Have Assign Rights task also apply rights to task parametersMerged

When applying the “assign rights” task to a table it also offer to enable a table task. This does assign the rights to tasks linked to that specific table but it leaves the task parameters unaffected. I would like to have the task parameters assigned as well.

Automatic login for Web based GUIOpen

Deeplinking to a processflow in a Thinkwise application is already possible. But when a user gets (for example) an email with a deeplink to a processflow that confirms the timely delivery of a work order, he or she alway has to enter his or her cridentials and press Login.Wouldn't it be great to somehow have a javascrpt or other solution in on the login button (or login page of the GUI) that recognizes the fact that a username and password is already entered and automatically does the login? The username and password can be stored by the browser, so for a user it would seem as if the deepling really is what it pretents to be.

Deleting multiple rows as a setMerged

The GUI supports multiselect deletion of rows for a while now. The default GUI functionality that deletes multiple rows performs too slow and even slower than a task that does the same delete actions. Selecting all rows in a grid (more than 100) and starting the delete function takes a lot of time to ‘prepare’ the delete. Eventually a pop-up is shown with a confirmation message. Answering the confirmation message with ‘yes’ will start deleting the selected rows. The actual deletion process also takes too much time. Triggers play a role in this too. We would like to use the default GUI delete function as a set (just as SQL prefers) instead of row for row deletion. The Software Factory could have a checkbox for it in the ‘Subjects’ screen that is called something like ‘Multi-row deletion’.

Exclude .bak files from being PreviewedOpen

The previewer is great but it is not so great when a row is selected with a .bak file. The GUI will load the whole file to try and preview it, but will not succeed as .bak files cannot be previewed anyway. Would be nice if the Previewer excluded this file extension. But of course there are more file extensions to exclude.Or; The Preview component should check the extension first before trying to preview filedata.

Include some more data when saving cubesOpen

This idea is created on behalf of some of our users, combining their ideas into one.When saving a cube view as an UP cube view, it would be desirable to include some more data/settings:Prefilter state: for example, a detailed overview of hours will often cover the last period, where a trend analysis will cover several years. When you are always interested in the trend analysis, you have to activate the prefilter yourself every time. Active filters: any manual filters should also be saved. Selected print options: a user now has to reset these with every print. Expansion of rows: the rows are always expanded when working in the cube view, even when the rows were collapsed when the cube view was saved.

Assign table variants based upon breakpointsOpen

Currently the Software Factory allows you to assign a different screentype based upon a breakpoint. This is a very useful feature. Unfortunately you still lack the option to optimize the different screen layout. Because all subject configurations such as the grid, cardlist and form are still having the same setup. This leads to setting up a compromised setting for these components. So that it will work on a large and small screen.How great would it be to be able to assign a table variant based upon the same breakpoints! This will allow you to fully configure your table for multiple resolutions, and therefor devices.Obviously the GUI will do some scaling, to help with adjusting the grid and form, but often on smaller screens things such as the sequence of fields or the grouping of fields should be different. Users do not want to scroll before being able to see the most important data on this table.All of this can be configured if we could assign table variants to breakpoints.

Accept type for file upload (only allow specific extensions)Completed

I would like to be able to specify the valid extension(s) that a user can use on a file upload.I want to help the user a bit more saying they can only upload for example .zip or .xml files, of only images. The accept attribute could be used for this.Clicking on this, should result into a restricted set of file extensions.  I currently use a default, but that's triggered after someone has selected a file.

Progress bar while executing more than 1 unittest.Completed

At Deployment -> creation -> tab unit tests you can find many unit tests. It would be nice if there could be a progress bar that at least informs the user of the progress.

Copy all column values from selected columnOpen

We can copy all row data by using Ctrl+A and Ctrl+C but even when I hide all other columns (through User preference) than the column I want to select all values from, it still ends up copying all the values of all other columns too. Maybe that's a bug but… What I would like to be able to do is selecting all values from a single column and copy it. Can we make this possible?

Ability to change domain control iconsClosed

I would like to be able to change the icon next to the file upload field. In the application, gray icons are being used to open/start tasks and this task makes it possible for an user to upload a file. Currently there's a difference between my task icon and the file upload icon. If I could make these two the same, that would greatly benefit the look of the application.   Difference in Icons

Alternative units for requirements/user stories and work sizeClosed

In the 2021.1 version of the Software Factory storypoints can be attributed to requirements/user stories and hours to work, which is definitely useful. The flexibility/usability of these elements would however be improved if the units of measure could be freely chosen in a future version.

Change order of columns for table task parametersCompleted

I understand that this issue has already been addressed in However currently the order is confusing in the following way:Order of first column is: Table - Task Order of secord column is Task parameter - Column (so reverse from first column)I would like that the first and second column match. So this basically means that the order in the first column should be reversed (starting with Task and continue with Table).PS This also applies for Table task parameters within subjectsPPS Why are project and version visible from the subject and not from the task? Showing project and version is not something I see on other forms, so maybe removing them will be an extra bonus.

Enable task and report for empty subject - Default value set falseCompleted

Currently in the Software Factory the checkbox Enable task/report in empty subject is set to true. Personally I would like the default set to false. In most cases the task/report should not be available when there is not subject. The exception is the case in which you would like to enable the task instead of hide it.

Data conversion support lookup query or joinCompleted

When adding new columns to existing model it’s possible to add default values with the data conversion. I would like to produce a specific value for each row that is the result of a query. With this i can calculate and populate the new column with a value.

Execute a system flow from the SF (for development purposes)Completed

After creating a system flow if you want to test it there are 2 options: create a starting point in the GUI and run it is a process flow, or sync to IAM and test as a scheduled system flow there. I would like to have another option which is execute the system flow from the software factory itself. This will speed up the development process and give the developer more tools to create a working system flow.
