Hallo, I'd like to ask for any suggestions. We're creating a cube chart to represent Company, Volume/Number of Shipments, and Year. Is it possible not to display all values by default when the page loads? We'd like to add filters, such as by Company or Year, instead of showing everything at once. Right now, the chart displays all company values, and it looks cluttered. If there's a way to apply filters, that would really help with clarity. This chart will be one of the key items on our dashboard, so we need it to provide statistical insights into shipment volume.
I would like the option in the SF to set a subject to grid edit mode if a users double clicks on a row (optional: clicking on a specific column like with tasks). I know this can be done already with creating a double click task that uses a proces flow to go to grid edit mode. But it gets quite cumbersome when you want to implement this at almost all subjects that use edit in grid in an application, specially in combination with roles.
Before I turn this into an idea, I would like to know what the vision is about the “enable for empty subject” option of a task in combination when applicable on an empty detail reference. I am encountering that I have Create tasks on several entities and those need to support being enabled when the subject is empty as they could be the first record to be created. The consequence is that when I have this in a detail and the parent has no records, the task is available, but would not work as there is an empty reference and no parent_id would be available. In this situation I want to disable that task as well, so now I am creating context procedures to handle this. This is also only an issue when the detail screen is directly available, as detail tabs become disabled when the reference is empty, though you can still stay inside one if you already navigated to it and can change the filter on a parent for example. Would it make sense to have the GUI default the behaviour to disable all task
At our company we've been using and developing Thinkwise applications since mid last year. Business already very positive with the platform as we’re moving out of our legacy landscape. Already the questions arise about RPA, is it possible to develop and use RPA on Thinkwise applications. My question is if there is experience in this community with Thinkwise and RPA. What does work well, what are the benefits, pitfalls, etc. Hope to hear soon, thanks in advance!
I would like to have more control over the way details open, specifically from a detail tile. I would like it to open as a floating screen for instance. Having the screen been modal (thus preventing the user from navigating away) would also be a great feature to have. In my case the users have a touchscreen interface so using the ‘alt’+click shortcut is not an option and is also not something I want to make the responsibility of the user. So far I’ve got two workarounds but neither are very elegant: Using ‘empty’ tasks instead of detail tiles and having them open the detail in a process flow, but this leads to clutter in the tasks and makes adding tiles a hassle, also it defeats the purpose of the tiles and leads to a disconnect in the styling of the icons for instance using a process flow to close the initial window and reopen it as a floating window, this is sluggish and also unnecessarily complex I would prefer to be able to do this in a simpler and faster manner, so far the followi
My customer has configured the SSO with Azure ad as identity provider. So off course, if the user is disabled in the AD, the user can not login the tool. However, the Application Manager of the Thinkwise solution would like to see which users are active or inactive. The filter of active / inactive does filter out users, but we dont know based on what. therefore I'd like to ask for help with the following questions: 1 - if a user is disabled in the IDP, is that somewhere registered in the IAM? -- If not, is there some best practise of how to make that happen? 2 - What does the filter "in active user” in the user table in the IAM filter for exactly? I thought it was based on the date field, but aparently there are more variables. Thanks for your help.
Hi there, I couldn't find any specific documentation on this — or perhaps I may have overlooked it — but I’d like to confirm if the following is possible. We have a reference setup: @ref_table1_table2 In the GUI, this results in: TABLE 1 - Detail tab - TABLE 2 In this setup, we want to keep TABLE 2 read-only until a specific task on TABLE 1 is triggered, which then inserts data into TABLE 2. Is it possible to implement this behavior within the Software Factory without resorting to dynamic code? Kind regards,Balazs Szeder
This is an additional release for the Universal GUI version 2025.2.11. Last sprint, we improved scrolling behavior on the Cardlist. When the initial dataset loads very slow and the Cardlist is already shown, this new logic could cause a crash. This is prevented now. The 2025.2.11.1 release is now available for download in TCP.
The pivot tables (Cubes) have come a long way and if I understand correctly, they are still under development. I have encountered some scenarios where I had the need for a more dynamic grid. In some scenarios we used views as a complicated work around, where the headers and amount of columns are fixed, and in the first row we create our own headers and we pivot the data in the query. Of course a sub optimal solution. In other scenarios we used the grid + grouping as an alternative, so data is shown close to each other As a practical example:In a proof of concept, a customer wants to compare the texts of different contracts per subject and per supplier. The ideal situation would be to have the suppliers on one axis and the subject on the otherthe specific text of each subject / supplier would be visible in a cell. In a pivot table in Excel and in Power BI it is perfectly possible to use a string for the data. It simple demonstrates the text or counts the amount of entries. I noticed tha
found above topic because i have the same issue. Is there any option to passthrough sas-token through a parameter in the task? Security wise it's not an option to store the token in a table or hardcoded in the report
Is there like a more elaborate guide on how to improve charts.. specially how things react. Why the x-axis is horizontal and sometimes vertical.. and can we for example steer the dynamic legend.. to just show the bar your on or just -x +x .. Also I want to know what charts work and which won't based on what setup.. it's a lot of trial an error and thinking about 10x developer.. this can be 100x developer.
Hello, is it possible to set the Session expiration for an OpenID provider, or stay logged in for longer than 30 minutes when using external OpenID provider. See above the screenshot of SF 2025.2, in which it is possible to set the expiration for the external provider. We are in the process of assessing our chances to upgrade to this new SF version. But for now we wish to have the `Stay signed in` option like logging in with the local account.
Hi, We have several apps calling Indicium, and using the data. This works fine, but sometimes clients complain about performance. We have a feeling that someone is calling the endpoint a bit too often.. or requesting a bit too much data. What options do I have to see how often someone (an app) is calling certain endpoints, and at what moment? Thanks! Blommetje
Hi A couple of weeks ago I implemented the following topic to work in my on premise application. When I tested the drag and drop functionality myself, everything worked fine. This week however, the tester ran into an unauthorized error. After some testing myself I found something weird. When I log into my application via: https://my-appl/universal and I try to upload a file I get the following error: However, when I log in via https://my-appl/indicium and then navigate to https://my-appl/universal my file is uploaded successfully: It seems like that logging in via the universal link doesnt give me the rights to upload a file, while logging into the indicium page does. On both pages, I log in with the same account, so there is no difference there. The upload URL that is used in the javescript code is https://my-appl/indicium/iam/appl/(table_refence). I am struggling to find where the problem lies. My guess is that this has something to do with the server settings of the on premise envir
