Good day,We have a task to upload a file using the file upload component. When a file is being uploaded using this task we expect a progress bar to appear under the field where the name of the file is displayed. This worked on GUI version 2023.1.15.1.0Since GUI version 2023.2.10.0.0 the load bar does not appear anymore. This load bar was used to indicate the user that the file was uploading and that the following task could not be started yet. Now it looks like the following:The file upload pop upThe text of the file disappears for 50% and the load bar is not shown. The indication for the user is gone and now it's possible to accidentally hit the "execute” task before the file is fully uploaded. This could lead to improper processing of the file. Is this a bug in the latest version of the universal GUI?
Hello everyone,We have a process flow that pops up a window. This window is very small and should be larger when it pops up.We can set the default window size of all windows and pop ups in the software factory, but we do not want all windows and pop ups in the entire application to be the same size when we set it for the purpose of one window.Can this be set per window when you select the pop up option in a process flow for opening a document?When this option in this process action is set to "Yes” it would be nice to have an option to set the size of this floating document, so we do not have to set a general size for all windows and pop ups, because in come cases this can be unwanted.
Hello everyone, In our software we have columns that are necessary, but hidden from the user and a display column that converts that value in the hidden column to the right value. When the user wants to export it shows two columns, the hidden column and the visible column that holds the converted value. That hidden column is a column we do not want to export, the user only needs to be able to export the converted value based on their settings.We tried multiple things, setting all columns that we do not want to show to hidden, setting it fully hidden in the subjects screen, even via the layout logic where we tried to set fields to hidden when it entered the export mode. Nothing seemed to work as we had hoped. So my question is: is there a way to fully exclude columns from the export list. Some columns are hidden in the grid and form for a reason, and we do not want to keep those in our export list.In this screenshot you can see what I mean. Good day,On a screen full of data we have a screen for assigning detail data to the said parent data. The parent data is assigned to projects. And so is the detail data. The detail data can also be unassigned (so not assigned to a project).I was trying to make a prefilter so only the project with unassigned detail data and the detail data assigned to the current project the user works with is shown. This proved to be difficult. As the detail data does not know about the parent data’s unique ID and project ID. And when I give the data via the reference, only the detail data assigned to the project shows up. This is not the wished outcome.How can I make it so that the detail data assigned to a project is shown only with the project it's assigned with, and when the detail data is unassigned to a project, it is also shown (unasigned detail data needs to be shown to all projects)?So it comes down to the following: I want to show the detail data to a specific project if the detail data is a
We have developed a small external web app. This web app needs to retrieve a file which has been imported and stored on a reachable location on the server using the file name and path. The file name and path are stored in the database. Using this file name and path the web app can read the file from the location it's stored. This needs to be done with an XHR GET request.Is there a way that this integrated web app can do a GET request to the Indicium API to retrieve the file path it needs? It just needs to get a piece of text from the database that contains the path to the file, then it can read the file and view the data using said file.
Hello,For a new functionality we need to edit the startup task that any new user will see. The task is set via an IAM startup task. Now that it needs to be edited we need to be able to debug it in the Software Factory using the universal GUI. Is this possible?
Hello everyone,We recently implemented a solution for manual tests. This is that we can generate a description using generative AI. This works well for single objects, but when I want to generate descriptions for all of the remaining 200 tests, it becomes incredibly slow, and eventually even freezes. I thought this was my code at first, but when I tested it with the already present description generator for template code, it did the exact same.So now I have to generate my descriptions one by one, which will take an incredibly long time, otherwise I can wait about an hour for it to reach 25% only for it to freeze. We make use of GPT-4.0-turbo. Is this known to be slow or is there something wrong?
Hello everyone,I have made an update to my dynamic model which edits the data model and the subjects. It sets certain columns to hidden in the subjects, while leaving the newly created display columns visible to the user. I had to make an edit to this dynamic model to prevent the following from happening: (link to a previous post)I made sure the dynamic model made these columns hidden in the data model. But the following error occurs when I run this dynamic model object more than once:It is an unclear error. I must add that we use the staged strategy, so that it does it's job every regeneration of the model. And this never posed a problem. But only after making this edit, so that the database columns are hidden on data model level, this error shows after a first successful run.This is the error it gives when I run it using the generate model in the creation tab:What must I do to resolve this error? I think the error is a little to unclear to actually know what is going on here. I know
We have a function in our project where the end user can add their own users (as in people who come to work for them) to their application. We have a link to the IAM via an HTTP connector in a process flow. We use the following link: /indicium/open/iam/iam/usr. And this gives the following error when the call is made via the HTTP connector: The /open/iam/iam/x endpoint can only be used to start message protocol independent process flows. The entity 'usr' is not a process flow.I have found this error when testing the call with Postman after noticing something was wrong. This has always worked in versions prior to 2024.1. We could always add users via our end application to the IAM using our task made for adding users. Same goes for editing. We have no idea what possibly could cause this sudden error.
