Unit Testing for Table-Valued FunctionsOpen

As a developer, I aim to unit test my table-valued functions independently from the functionality where they are used. This approach provides better results and simplifies the setup of unit tests.Unfortunately, the current documentation indicates that testing table-valued functions separately is not supported. generated by control procedure from base modelsOpen

Having a couple of different base model linked to different work models we come across a small problem. After generating the “generated by control procedure” field is populated with the text “Copied from base model”, in my opinion it would be very useful to see from which base model this is copied, could this be added? Now we have to search the different base model, this would help a lot!It could be shown as something like this:"Copied from base model (MODEL)”

Run system flow manually via IAMMerged

In IAM you can see your system flows and also add an extra schedule as a application owner. But the thing I am missing is that an application owner can manually start a system flow from IAM.Epically handy when in D/T/A environments but also useful in production when you don't want to wait 59 minutes for a system flow to become active when it just ran 1 minute ago.

Activate Card List is missing as process flow actionOpen

In a process flow you can choose different actions, like activate form and activate grid, but you cannot choose to active a card list, we are missing this because in some situations we only show the card list and the form, and not a grid, and we want to send the user back to the “overview” which in this case is a card list.https://docs.thinkwisesoftware.com/docs/sf/process_flows_actions#activate-gridactivate-form

Upgrade code with a new functionClosed

Within the functionality you can add a piece of code before, during and after a upgrade script, this is really usefull with data converisons, really like the functionality.But what I am missing is when I add a new function and need this function in the data conversion there is no place I can do this except for the manual script. But the manual script I have to delete after upgrading, otherwise this will be executing every upgrade.It would be usefull for me if we are able to make a upgrade script functionality but the really in the end which we can assign to a certain upgrade version x → version x.y

Resource Scheduler - Better sortingOpen

Hi,I am using the Resource Scheduler in the universal GUI, I really like the look and feel, but I dont really like the way the sorting is working right now.By default is sorts (within a resource):Start date end date nameIn my opinion the sorting should have more customization options.For example:I want it to sort how my subject is sorted, because I have an order column in my appointments. In my example I want the first 4 green ones like they are, but then the 5, 6 and 7 from the blue one, then the 8 and 9 from the yellow and then the 10 and 13 from blue again. If the events dont overlap, then they can start behind the others, but with overlap, I would like it to sort with the order numbers in the table.

Smart default order_no for a referenceOpen

CaseWhen adding a column to a table, often we have a generated trace column with a high order_no, this so the columns are always in the back of the table. When adding a new column the SF checks what the maximum order no is within the table, when there is a number with a bigger step then 100 the SF ignores this, which is really helpfull for adding new columns.In our end product we have generated views for history tables, these have an automatic generated reference with an order_no of 999, when adding a new reference this will get the max number + 10, so a new reference will be 1009, can you add the same logic for this order no as well?And maybe add this for all the functionality which has a automatic generated order_no?

Loosing upgrade after version scripts.Merged

Imagine the following situation:Version 1.27 is on the test database Version 1.28 got an upgrade script functionality, assigned to ug_after_1_27_to_1_28 This works perfect and I will create version 1.29 after upgrade. After developing and testing version 1.29 I want to deploy 1.29 to the production Production is version 1.27, so in the SF I will put 1.27 as previous project version. When upgrading from 1.27 → 1.29 I will loose the upgrade script ug_after_1_27_to_1_28I can imagine that this works the same with branching and merging.Ususally I will attach these upgrade functionality to ug_after_always to prevent this situation, but then I have to cleanup upgrade scripts after a while. It would be nice if we can prevent this and the SF would recognise that between 127 and 1.29 there is an upgrade script that needs execution.

Auto save Universal form

Hi,We have a view with a auto-edit and auto-save form, we have 1 editable field which is a barcode, after entering a barcode and hitting <tab> (which a barcode scanner does) in universal the focus goes onto the next object and does not save the record, is that intended? (2022.2.14 gui) Focus is on the 3 dots, top right.Also: When entering the screen, I cannot change records because of the form being in edit mode, we first have to cancel the row and select a new row. For us not a big problem for now, but I don't think this is intended?

Automate generation, unit test etc.On the backlog

Having the possibility to use indicium to automate generating / unit test / validation and all is very nice, as found here: https://docs.thinkwisesoftware.com/docs/sf/deployment_automationI think it would be a great addition the be able to schedule these from within the SF since from there we know the current project / project_vrs and the indicium we need.We want to schedule unit test and validations every night, it would be nice and quick if we can accomplish this within the SF with a simple click instead of having an external program running a schedule and retrieving the current active project_vrs to run the procedure.

Universal GUI Headers + filter button

Hi all,I am curious about a couple of things in the Universal GUI:We have a subject with 2 prefilters, showing perfectly on a bigger screen: Prefilters showing up top leftBut when the screen gets smaller, the prefilters are hidden behind the 3 dots, in my opinion there is enough space left to show the prefilter buttons, is this by design? And can we influence this by a setting? And can we influence if only 1 prefilter shows, which one that would be, is that with the “order no” ? Prefilters hidden top left.The next question is about the alignment of the headers in universal, we see them aligning with the same alignment of the data, the same behavior as the windows GUI.But in the Windows GUI we see that the text that is aligned on the right side, still starts at the beginning, as in the Universal GUI we only see the end of the text, is this by design? Cause I would prefer the same behavior as in the windows GUI since this is more clear.Alignment right, with “verkooporder” & “Nummer”A

Make it more clear if a process procedure is usedMerged

When developing a process flow, in the design screen it would be very usefull to have a viausal indication when a process procedure is used in a process step. Now you have to go to the step to check, and then going back to the design (which takes a bit of time rebuilding the screen).There is no visual indication that a process procedure is being used on a step.

Insert your own code before try catch and after end catch in 'atomic transaction'Open

In addition to the following topic:It would be nice to be able to weave code before the begin try so we are able to create custom scenarios in the software.(For example for logging purposes)For the same reason it would be nice to be able to weave code after the end catch.

password expiration in IAMCompleted

It would be a very nice feature if we can set a default password expiration, as in 2 month for example.   So after 2 months the user will be forced into changing it's password.

Goal Sometime you need to extract only the file name (or maybe extention) from a file path. Solution declare @file_path varchar(500) = '\\server_name\folder_name\folder_name_2\file_1.txt';select right(@file_path, charindex(char(92), reverse(@file_path)) - 1)

Indicium empty columnCompleted

When you request something from indicium (ie a table or subroutine) and a column is empty, then indicium will not send the column with the respond. It would be nice if there is a setting per request if you want the empty columns to be sent or to be hidden.

Copy IAM groups from another IAM (2019.1)Open

The current situation is as follow: We have a development IAM, test IAM, acceptance IAM and production IAM. For now we can focus on dev and test IAM. The roles are now in the SF, so after synchronizing to any IAM the roles are copied automatically, which is very nice. When creating a new branch or application we synchronize this to the develop IAM, and from there we create groups and attach them to the roles and application. But now we want to push the application to the test IAM, we synchronize the SF to the IAM, all the roles are copied, but not the groups. It would be very nice to have a task which can copy the groups to the test IAM FROM the develop IAM and attach the roles already present in the test IAM. This way the develop IAM is leading towards develop, acceptance and production.

"keep me signed in" is not keeping me signed in.

When I logon to the community and I check the box: "keep me signed in" it will keep me signed in for the day / session. But the next day I have te sign in again, is this by design or a bug?
