Hi all, Just as you can search for an answer you can also use tags to find interesting content. You will find the tag cloud on the right side bottom of the main page: When you write a question it can be beneficial to others if you use keywords to tag your post for other users to find. Tags that can be valuable for others are the ones that describe your particular post with keywords. For instance: Product (IAM, SF, Indicium) Version number GUI Subject When you start a topic you add your tags to your post on the left bottom side under the Sub forum field when you're writing a post: Type your tag word into the field. Repeat this for multiple tags. You can separate the tags using a comma, enter or tab. Have a great day! Moller
Hi all, This post will explain how you attach images or videos to your post. To attach an image you have some options but first you need to click the image button in the text editor: Next you will be asked if you wish to upload an image or upload a video. Click on upload button to browse your computer for the image. For the videos you can simply paste the url link to youtube or vimeo. By default, the image or video will be added to your post as an attachment. You can also choose to place the image or the video in the text by clicking the Place in text button. Tips: Do not publish privacy-sensitive personal data Anonymize privacy-sensitive personal data or ask permission from user Be GDPR Compliant Have a great day! Moller
Hi all, If you like to change the contents of a previous post done by you, you can do so within an hour of posting*: Please go to the post that you would like to change, hover your mouse over the three dots on the right bottom corner. Click to edit. You will see the post in the text field again and will be able to change the post as a whole. For formatting the text of your post, please click the question mark button on the down right of the text edit field. If you're typing a longer post you can also enlarge the edit field by dragging from the button on the down right. Have a great day! Moller
Hi, This How To will explain how to start a new topic. Please first use the search function on the main page to see if your question is being discussed in an already existing topic. The Create a new topic button is avaiable on most pages throughout the Community. Simply click on "Create a new topic" next to your profile picture: Create a new topic Then you can proceed with giving your new topic a descriptive title. Important: If possible, state the SF version that you are using, the exact problem you are facing and if applicable also a description of what you've already tried to solve it. The more details the easier it is for other users to help you. Please also make sure that your post does not infringe with our Forum guidelines, which can be found here. Hi all, If you come across a post that you find helpful or answered your question, or you simply like someones post, you can give him or her a thumbs up, called a Like. You will find this at the end of every post: If someone posted the solution to your problem in the topic you've started, you should click on "Best answer": This rewards the person that solved your problem, and at the same time other users will find this solution in case they have the same issue. Hi all, This will explain how you can setup a Signature that will appear at the bottom of each one of your posts. Start by clicking your username on the top right and choosing My Profile- Settings: In one of the fields displayed here is called “Signature”: Simply type the text that you want to use as a signature for your posts. For instance you can fill your position within the company where you work. Once you are satisfied, click on the Save button at the bottom of the page. From here on, all your posts on the forum will display your signature at the bottom. Have a great day! Moller
