We have an application running Dutch and English as languages but it seems that universal uses the English translations when we show a message via the tsf_send_message functionality. Our code is as follows: exec tsf_send_message 'message_key', null, 0Did we miss something?
Hi, I have an installed Thinkstore solution that also adds icons and translations to my project. For example the awesome solution “trace fields” which comes with blue icons. This conflicts with the design of our application and I want to replace them with material black icons. I could ofcourse open the base project and modify it there. However once there is a new version in the Thinkstore this would break the upgrade option or would simply overwrite my changes. (not sure which one will happen)This could be a question or idea, but I would like to change the icons within my project so that they match with the rest of the project. The same goes for translations when I would like to use different words for something. Lets say in stead of “trace info” the client would like it to state “tracking info”.
For a new customer I was setting up the environments and after everything was set up I found something missing. Since the application looks exactly the same on all environments (dev, acc and prod) I was missing a feature to easily spot the difference between them. Therefore I've implemented a simple css in the custom.css file. Between environments I've modified two parameters.content (‘DEVELOPMENT’ for dev and 'ACCEPTATION’ for acc) background (red for dev and blue for acc)For the production environment we did not implement this code. So if you see a badge in the left bottom corner it is not production. body > div:first-of-type::after { content: 'ACCEPTATION'; display: block; position: absolute; bottom: 1px; left: 1px; background: blue; z-index: 999999999999999999999999999999; color: white; padding: 10px 20px;}Since it is implemented in Universal it works for any application, including IAM.This is what it looks like:
With regards to the icon library, I find myself to replace icons by accident. This modifies ofcourse all current instances of the icon.To my opinion it is too easy to change an icon. I would like to have a little warning when an icon already is in use. Something like “do you know for sure, the icon is already in use on the following places: …. “
I am running into a scenario where I want to show a graph for salary growth where 4 persons are shown at once. Horizontal axis I want the dates and on the vertical axis I want the amount they earn. Once somebody got a raise I want it to be represented on that date. For example, for one person it would look like this: Once we add more collegues and fill the graph with more data we get empty fields, because not everybody gets a raise on the same date. This results in a graph that is scattered and has gaps. I know in excel you can connect these gaps in graphs (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/display-empty-cells-null-n-a-values-and-hidden-worksheet-data-in-a-chart-a1ee6f0c-192f-4248-abeb-9ca49cb92274) It would be awesome if we could connect the dots like this in Thinkwise as well.
Payments in ThinkwiseWe have created a lunch app for our colleagues where they can register whether they used the company lunch. The cost for a single lunch is €2,50 and this must either be paid directly or from your wallet. Therefore, we had to integrate some sort of payment provider. This article describes how we implemented this payment provider for a single payment. We used an ideal (Dutch payment method) provider. Please note we solemnly implemented this for the Universal GUI, therefore it might not work as smoothly in one of the other GUI’s.Payment processBefore diving into the solution, it is important to have a little understanding on how payment providers work. A payment provider must be connected in order to make any payments. Once there is a connection with a provider you will find out that it does not return any useful information by itself. For example, if you would like to know the status of a payment you will need to send a request for this status to the provider. The pro
I have a question regarding the decision task. I created a small process flow that needs to execute the create wallet task based on whether or not a variable has been set. (see diagram) In order to get this result I have implemented a decision activity and corresponding process functionality. But no matter the outcome it always seems to execute both tasks. declare @has_wallet bit = 0;set @has_wallet = ( select coalesce(( select 1 from wallet_employee we where we.location_id = @location_id and we.employee_id = @employee_id ), 0) )if @has_wallet = 1begin -- wallet available set @has_wallet_execute_task_create_wallet = null; set @has_wallet_execute_task_create_employee_lunch_transaction = 10;endelse if @has_wallet = 0begin -- no wallet available set @has_wallet_execute_task_create_wallet = 10; set @has_wallet_execute_task_create_employee_lunch_transaction =
