The delete functionality does not seem to work on multiple rows at once, it only deletes one. Is there a setting I’m missing to make it applicable to all selected rows?

This functionality has indeed not yet been implemented in the Universal GUI.
You could work around this by creating a task that deletes all the selected records.

This isn't currently on the Universal GUI roadmap yet.
