Currently the indicium logdirectory keep on growing with new logfilesIt would be nice to see old files get deleted after a certain period. For example by setting a "max age" parameter and value in the appsettings.json file in the log/loglevel section where indicium will delete the logfiles that have been expired due to the max age.
When the ‘forgot password’ function is used in the webGUI, a token as shown below is sent to the user by mail. This token is probably very safe, but also difficult to copy in handwriting (correctly), and the safety it provides is does not reflect the functions Zeeman provides to most users. Therefore, an option to configure a shorter/simpler token would be handy. I was thinking of a 4 digit numeric code, but a 6 digit code (provided by the forgot password function in the mobile GUI) would also be ok.
A business process diagram can be quite large, a function to zoom in and out would be helpful in maintaining overview while also enabling a view on details.
A checkbox in IAM by application screen to set the application active for testing would be nice. Only users with for example Administratior rights can open the application so you can test if the application is ready for release. Now you need to set the whole application active. But than every user can acces the application.
In the past it was possible to enable inactive applications in IAM to be opened by admins. This allowed you as an admin to test a version during the deployment before enabling the version for all the end users. It would be of great help to have such a feature again.
I would like to see expression fields, customer pre-filters and other in-model expressions to automatically generate some sort of subroutine and template. Where alle code can be accessed from functionality and errors in these expressions can be fixed more easier without model syncs et cetera.
Hi. I would like to see some extension to the BI functionality. It's becoming more important and the defaults are lacking functionality. One option that would really help is to have a pivot with multiple dimensions and values but to choose only specific values and dimensions for the chart. Because the charts are not really suitable for multi dimensional views and for example 2 different values (as there is not support for a different left and right axis-scale. So this Idea is to have:One pivot with a chart only on a selected dimension and value(s). And with some support from here have more options to show more data points in one chart.. so different left/right axis-scales for example ..
Hey all,i have a procesflow that opens a document which then uses change filter/ prefilters to filter on a specific id, however it does not work if i have the option open as floating document set to Yes. When i don’t open it as a floating document it does work. Btw this only happens in universal Is this a bug?
Is there a possibility to have a “read receipt” variable to SMTP connector?
We would like two additional parameters (acr_values, display) for the OPENID PROVIDERS definition in the Intelligent Application Manager (or indicium/appsettings.json). We need these paramaters for the eIDAS integration (openID provider) as part of the multi-factor authentication in our solution. See the example below:https://*************/AutentIDConnect/npa/authorize?scope=openid&response_type=code&redirect_uri=https*************&client_id=*************&acr_values=http://eidas.europa.eu/LoA/high&display=no_eidas_country_selection Some background information on openID standardhttps://openid.net/specs/openid-connect-core-1_0.html#AuthRequest
For several purposes it can be wishful to to have a multi-line field in the grid. It can save space on your forms if you can see the full text of a memo field at once in the grid.At this moment only one line is displayed and it can not be line-wrapped.So I would suggest to create this feature.
Hi Everyone,In our development in Universal Gui, we have some cases where we need to put large chunks of strings in grids or just some small group of texts that we need to squeeze between the columns. It would be nice if we have the option to define height for fields similar to what we have in forms.form field height I understand that modifying such property would apply to the whole line of record, Which I think makes sense. It would be nice if it would be intelligent enough for it to apply only when necessary. One record in with one column having big height.Wrap text option that will squeeze the text inside a column width.Having this with us will make records that are long be more identifiable with one look for users.I have read some ideas regarding row heights by modifying the Model Settings, but they tackle more on the general look of grids. What I’m showing with this idea is row height be applied to records that need them but not to all pages that don't need them, making this more flexible.
LLM can be used to analyse new features available between two versions. This can be derivede from our docs pages. This questions pops up evry time we want to upgrade a client to a new version. Only today I got this question for a upgrade from 2017.X to 2023.3 and for an upggrade from version 2021.3.
Ability to use the filter in a process stream
When you add a new domain and start adding elements to this domain, the Software Factory will automatically give the first element the database value 0. When using a numeric or integer domain and elements I personally am not a fan of using the database value 0. The value 0 indicates empty and is a value I often use in an ISNULL statement. This is way I prefer starting with value 1 instead of 0.Currently there is no way to change this default value. I would like this to be a project version setting. The reason why I would like to configure this is, prevent that co-workers in my team by accident will use value 0 instead of 1 and create an inconsistency.
A cool addition to IAM would be a task that allows you to disable all objects for a specific role which can not be accessed from within the application. This will allow you to disable objects that the user in theory could/should never be able to access. This will help prevent that users by accident have rights to tables which they should not have access to in the first place. They will not access the tables using the GUI but will be able to access them using a tool like MS SQL Management Studio or Indicium. This task will help you prevent this.
Having a couple of different base model linked to different work models we come across a small problem. After generating the “generated by control procedure” field is populated with the text “Copied from base model”, in my opinion it would be very useful to see from which base model this is copied, could this be added? Now we have to search the different base model, this would help a lot!It could be shown as something like this:"Copied from base model (MODEL)”
Some parts of your model can be created thanks to a dynamic model or from a base model. When it's created as part of a base model the text 'Copied from base model' is show by the generation info. Not only is the label 'By control procedure' not fully correct but the data doesn't give me enough insights, because sometimes there is something wrong in the base model and I want to fix that. But then you have to answer the question in which model do I need to fix that? Which you can from the user interface......Now i need to go to the database, query the right table to look for the object and search for one record that isn't generated. Lot of work and not doable for every developer. It would help me if the value in the control procedure would display: 'Coped from base model: {model_id}'
Right now Universal grids support Double-Click in grids to start a task/process flow for a whole record/line.In case we have multiple Tasks that are available to be executed for a row you cannot link the double-click of the row in the grid but we need a cell based assignment for the double-click. We require that we have a double-click functionality cell based. Meaning a certain task/process flow can be linked to a cell and upon double-click the task takes the related parameters from the row it is in.
With the new feature open document as floating popup available in Univeral Gui, it's nice to follow it up with another option to emulate lookup popups. Current ‘Open document’ processThe reason for that is in lookup popups, when it's opened it's the only focus of the page. Other components are un interactable, hence the grey background. Making the page opened needs precedence and attention from the user. Lookup Pop upWhile in the current one is that users can still interact with other components of the page. I understand that the choice was made because opening a page is the output of the process and lookup pop ups are pages opened while being inside a process like editing or adding a record. Open Document Pop up
