When you (re) design a screen, it is possible to display a preview of this screen in the Software Factory. As shown in the image below, this is now only possible for a table. Perhaps it is an idea to make this possible for a variant of a table with its own specific assigned screen type. This can now only be displayed in a end product.
When I open a screen (in windows GUI 2021.1.17) a subject that has the option "Hide breadcrumb (main scr.)" checked by screen type, the breadcrumb is still displayed. Am I doing something wrong?
After a record has been changed (by a user or directly on the database), the changed data must be forwarded to an API. In the update trigger of the relevant table, a task is called that collects the data and converts it to JSON. In a process flow with the above task of process action type "Start task" as starting point, which then passes the data to an "HTTP connector" that calls the API. When a record is changed, the task is activated by the trigger, but the process flow is never started. How do I get the process flow started, what am I overlooking?
We would like to display data in a screen by means of a view. The data is grouped in the query of the view (column 1). In a next column (column 2) several fields are merged by means of "for xml path" to one field. The data in the screen is built up on the basis of a specified time range, which the user must be able to specify in the screen.Normally, the data in a query is retrieved in a screen and filtered in the screen by the user (dataset reduced). In this case, column 2 is not re-selected and merged.I would like to retrieve the data in the query based on of parameters (just like a task or report), I think this is possible with "function-typed table". The SF documentation states that you can create a "table" of type "function". This type is not selectable in the SF (version 2021.1)! How can we achieve this and is there more information about this?
We would like to delete some data (as a kind of reset) after a user has closed a screen. Is there a way to run a task after the user exits a screen (close document)?
To ensure that no duplicate values are entered in specific columns that do not participate in the primary key, you can create a unique constraint. A unique constraint automatically creates a corresponding unique index. Does the SF also give this option?
In a resource scheduler (extender) I want to delete an existing appointment, see image below (red box). When I use the standard functionality (DEL) the selected resource is deleted, but not the appointment. Does anyone know how to delete an appointment in the extender (resource scheduler)?
In a resource scheduler (extender) I would like to display an image in the grid of the resource to make it even more visually clear. I have tried multiple file formats (.bmp, .jpeg, .png, .jfif), but as in the image below (red box) only the file name is shown (the images are well displayed in a screen type grid or form). Does anyone know if this is possible in the extender (resource scheduler) and how this can be accomplished?
In a resource scheduler (extender) you can display a tooltip on an appointment, see image below (red box). The tooltip is called by the extender from a column with a hard copy of, in my example, all fields of the appoinment. Since this field changes with every change of an appointment, the default does not seem like a good place to me. It seems to me that you want to generate this field once just before you save the data. Does anyone know the right place for this action?
