Sometimes some of our users have the problem process flows running from Universal don't work anymore. Logged in on their system (a scanner running Android) using a different username it works, running the process flow on a different system using their account name doesn't start the process flow. In the Indicium log no messages turn up.How can such a situation occur, is there a way we can find out what's the problem and how can we fix this? Sometimes resyncing the application to IAM works, last time this happened we needed to dis- and enable the application to get the process flows running for these users. Of cause, this is not the right solution.
I have a long running task and want to inform the user about the progress using a process bar like I used to to in the Windows GUI, in the Stored Procedure the tsf_send_progress SP is used for this:exec tsf_send_progress 'parameter_is_message', '<text>Tekstuele terugmelding uit taak</text>', 25;In the Windows GUI I see what I expected:In the Universal GUI I get a spinning circle, but I don't see the message and the progress%:When the task is finished I get popups for every message sent from the task:Isn't it possible to use progress bars for tasks like in the Windows GUI?
In GUI version 2019.1.16 flags for French, Spanish and Portuguese have been added. We would like to see a flag for Chinese added for the Chinese translation we made for our employees in China.
We use a VDI solution for remote workers and need to know if we can move to a solution using Microsoft RDS servers with remote desktops or remote apps. Does anyone have experience running the SoftwareFactory Windows client on such a system? According to the documentation this is supported and “Depending on the amount of data and the use of the application the Windows GUI requires between 30 and 100 megabytes (MB) RAM memory per user.”. If you have experience in running the Windows GUI on RDS how many concurrent users can you run on each server and do you have any issues with memory, USER object or GUI object usage?
I am trying to use FILESTREAM for saving documents in the database. I have a table containing these columns: The domains are defined as folows: When I insert a document using T-SQL in SQL Mangement Studio in the GUI I see the documents as expected and can also open them using the lookup button. When I try to upload a new document I get the folowing error message: This makes sense because the filestream_id is inserted with a null value, running the same command in SQL management studio without the field filestream_id and the null value works because the field has a default value (newsequentialid()). What should I change to make the GUI surpress the filestream_id field?
