Does anybody know a good way to catch and prevent the error, when a file for some reason is locked for reading and processing? Executing API 'CreateFile' failed with error number 32. Error code 32 is ERROR_SHARING_VIOLATION . So the mailer cannot read the attachment file because something else is reading it. Besides the fact that you cannot really reproduce it until it happens, I cannot really find a way to catch this error upfront. I am using the file_exists function to check upfront if all documents exists, and even though all attachments can be found, at the time of sending the mail at occasions you get this error. The only solution I can think of now is to set the AccountRetryAttempts to 2 times to tackle this problem. But it's not the fanciest solution, anyone has experiences with this?
Just a question, out of perhaps laziness :)Personally I always tend to forget to make a backup before a deployment.. anyone by chance already made a solution for this in the SF and cares to share it? ..
It appears that you cannot drop a grid line on top of a card-list item that hasn't got the focus.. Hovering over the intended card list item doesn't activate the card. In stead it's added to the one with the existing focus. Is this a bug or still under development?Situation:Card list with a grid as details that consists of planned activities. The idea is to drag a planned item and drop onto another agenda (card). When you drag the grid line to the card list the component gets activated, but never the card.
What is the reason that the dbEventLog is not reachable? This site can’t be reachedThe webpage at https://coragem.lef.tec.br/indicium/account/ui/dbEventLog might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address. The Universal is directly pointed to the SF. And will this also be available for the Indicium log? Now I have to every time go to the indicium URL download the log file.. would be easier to see it online with the latest messages.
Is it just me, or is the HTML editor very basic in the Universal GUI? Are there any plans to update it with richer options like here in the community when you add a question? Now it's only possible to go bold, italic or underline and add a list element. Or am I missing something?
Is there a way to actually show the menu items (not groups) dynamically? I have a menu group with some options for employees and managers.. the fact if someone is a manager or employee is defined by the application. If someone is only an employee they don't need to see the manager option(s) ..
Hi. In the documentation it states that you can do a GET /iam/app/subject?$prefilter=pre_filter .. however these are not applied. Does this only work for specific pre-filters?Basically I want to get the results of a variant of a subject. is it possible to get the results of a variant directly via an oData API call?
There is an issue in the Universal that makes preview URLs show up blank as per level 5 and down in a tree. So up to the 4th level the previewer connected to the tree shows the content (a URL).. but deeper levels are shown as blank, like the URL is not passed on anymore. What is the status of this issue that had another submitted issue already (see link).
Anyone adept here in SVG and the Star Rating solution in the ThinkStore. It doesn't seem to work in the Universal. Whatever I do I always get back one black star. I cannot really find documentation on how the install as App works.How can you set it up with a nice title and icon? Besides that we have an App for a few different functional roles. Can I:Create variants of the App so that every role has its own icon and title?
Is there a way to assign a zoom window to a double click on a field in a grid? I have a list of orders and invoices, and I would like to have a zoom window or new tab opened when they double-click on the invoice-number for example. To see the invoice, details and costs. As an alternative to a list of detail-tabs.
Hi. I created a chart for the past 2 months.. and a few things:I have a date column, which is shown as a timestamp (date_time).. why? Looks like a bug. When you create a chart, the SF creates date groups.. these don't work with the Universal it appears.. it just gives errors when you want to use them.
As a result of this thread: I would like to see the API call function for detail inserts even when the actual reference is not shown in the GUI. Because it doesn't make sense and we have to create unnecessary API variants to not show the reference in the GUI, but to have the ability to insert data via an API.. (direct insert doesn't work because of our hidden tenant_id in the key)..
The thinkwise platform is very powerful as it comes to referencing information and one of the results is that the screen gets bloated with tabs up till the point there are just too much. The fact that you can have horizontal and vertical tabs is already great. However I would like to be able to group tabs to deal with larger tab-lists and references that functionally can be grouped for better understanding by the user.Like below, where there can be maybe a left-border color for the status references or just some white-space between the status-group (first-four reference) and the other ones. I guess a bit like the pre-filter, task and report groupings.
The cardlist is quite a favorite in the Universal GUI and I am facing that if I have 2 icons or more.. only the first is shown, the others are shown as their name. I would like to have the extra icons also be shown in the cardlist.. Another Idea would be to have an extra indented (smaller) icon below the main one or the overflow menu replaced (where at this point it has no function, and could just a well be removed).
Hi. A quick question on the status of the Thinkstore. Are solutions being maintained ? I was trying the translation solution, but it doesn't work. Based on this solution I was hoping on extending the functionality with custom translations, to get them into the end-product as well. Is there any additional documentation on managing code generation. Hi, For a demo I'm trying to show the automatic creation of tenants (with insomnia for example it works), however when I put it in a Flow in de SF, the check tenant request works, but I get a 403 error on the add tenant call. Any ideas?
Would be nice if at screen design level you could add CSS tags to be able to customize the default screen elements for specific functional screens. In the U-GUI we use a lot the card-list but sometimes you want to customize it a little bit different depending on the topic.
We are looking at 2 data have applications where we rely heavily on the filter options and filter-form functionality. When you have a filter-form the use of pre-filters is not user friendly, as they are not visually synced.. I would really love to see them visually synced (so filter form shows what is pre-filtered) pre-populate the filter form, so you always see what is filtered out. B would be my preferred solution, as it enables you give a default filter to the form that a user can easily change without getting the full load.. this is what usually happens when they first turn off a pre-filter. (depending of course on the behaviour of your pre-flter group.
I guess it should be possible to dynamically load a custom.css in the U-GUI via the model. So the custom CSS can be maintained from the SF.
Charts are based on library Fusion Charts and it allows for defining additional attributes → https://www.fusioncharts.com/dev/chart-attributes/ Now they can be added to the overarching config.json, but you really want them per chart view, as it this moment all attributes will count for all line diagrams for example. Would be great if additional parameters could be defined per chart view. As a result of this topic:
The sliding scale selector is nice,, but I would like it to have a popup to go to a more distant date more quickly. Or even some smart buttons here to go the previous / next event… Scheduler always starts on current date, and I would definitely prefer if the system does that only when there is no activity planned yet.. in all other cases it should go the first activity planned.
Too really make the scheduler more useful, the tooltip should be HTML or at minimum have a more readable style + link for a deeplink for example.
HI. I think the detail tiles can be better:The target of the detail tile, I would like to have the option to open new document (what it's doing now) or zoom (I guess in Universal it's a popup/modal).. The latter is missing to quickly see a detail and then just close the popup and go back to your main context. And, this spans out to the detail-tabs as well, the visibility of the detail could be part of the model, where you can have the option to automatically hide the detail (tile) when there is no detail information. The model contains already the necessary information to check this.
I personally like the group label option for a grid, however when you start a group label and there are hidden columns the last visible column never is included in the group. The only way to solve this is to unhide all columns, and hide them in the Grid-layout and make sure they are not within a grid-group. Would be great if this problem could be solved.
