Universal - Chart - Date bug .. why is it showing timestamp instead of date?

Hi.

I created a chart for the past 2 months.. and a few things:

I have a date column, which is shown as a timestamp (date_time).. why? Looks like a bug.
When you create a chart, the SF creates date groups.. these don't work with the Universal it appears.. it just gives errors when you want to use them.
